I would like to thank Nick throughout the trip at the winery. We were able to get to our seats at a nice island for a short period of time and also brought over to another spot my family was wanting to go. Location is easy to get around. Parking lot wasnt full so I was able to park without any issues. We didnt try any food since we were just wine tasting . Their dinner doesnt start until 5pm. Area itself was really nice. There is an island for people to be surrounded by Koi fish but its only for 2 large groups (or 1) of 8+. You can be able to feed the koi fish for free. Just had to ask. Dog friendly (they have to be leashed) and kid friendly too. Would go again in the future read more

I've been to a lot of wineries here, California and in Europe and this winery stands tall among all of them. The setting is absolutely beautiful, reminiscent of wineries in Italy. They have snacks you can purchase while you taste as well as an outstanding restaurant. The whites were good but the reds were absolutely outstanding. Visited this winery recently and had a mixed experience. Our server was great very attentive and friendly throughout the visit. The ambience is beautiful with stunning views, and the location is easy to get to with good parking, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the wine flights/palettes didn't really impress me just not my personal taste. We also wanted to dine at the restaurant, but it was completely sold out. It sounds like many of their best wines are already purchased by wine club members before they even hit the shelves, which was a bit disappointing for first time visitors. THE VIEW IS BACK! It's not as if ot disappeared, but it was hidden behind trees and shrubs. If you want to see trees and several cascading waterfalls, sit seating south. For to die for lake view, sit facing north. Thank you, Dr. Bob, for removing the blockage. Oh....yes... the food... Sorrentos Joe Scramble was hot to the last bite: eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and onions. I could eat it every day. The Italian omelette was delish as well. My husband and I came in with our two toddlers and my MIL for dinner. As our reservation was at 7 pm and we were in the area earlier than our reserved time, we strolled to their tasting room to purchase a glass of wine. I can't say enough how kind the staff - both at the tasting room and restaurant - were to my family. For that one staff who gave my two year old the water buffalo figurine, he still plays with it, so thank you! As we visited right after Christmas, the decor was still up, which made the place very cozy, especially when sitting right in front of the humongous fireplace. If we ever get the chance to come back, I would certainly stop by again but also keeping in mind to visit when there is daylight so that we can enjoy the view of the area and water. read more

Beautiful winery that overlooks Lake Chelan We had a dinner reservation at Sorrento's for 6 (4 adults and 2 young children). Originally we wanted to have a seat outside then we were told the tables don't accolade our party sizes and some of the other tables are strictly for wine tasting which is fine We had the clams, truffle fries and fire calamari. The calamari is dusted with cayenne peppers which we requested to see if they can not add that since the kids loves calamari but they weren't able to do that so only us adults were able to enjoyed that. Something to beware of if your kids love calamari For our entrees we ordered the salmon, Italian sausage and spinach cannelloni, steak for an additional $12 crabs were added on top, and sausage and pepper classico - everything was cook nicely and flavored was as expected After our meals the kids were able to run around in their little court yard, checked out their little pond with koi fishes, a waterfall and of course we were able to watch the sunset Overall the staff was great, the experience was lovely and it's an overall wonderful spot to check out when you're vacationing; just about 10-15 mins away from the town and our rental home read more

View 10/10, service 10/10, wine 10/10 (subjective to your preferences but I usually love most of their whites and drier reds)! Honestly words aren't enough to describe this place. Just visit and see for yourself. My boyfriend introduced me to this winery a year and half ago and I immediately signed up for membership even though I have other winery memberships. They have a satellite location in Woodenville so I pick up my shipment at that location which is close to my house. Woodinville location is also lovely and hosts a lot of events like live music and wine tastings. I visited Chelan location during different seasons and their decorations have been always on point. The view is amazing with the Lake Chelan and mountains. Interior is largely Italian-inspired. Both Julia and Julia gave us tastings and they were both very knowledgeable with where the wine comes from and taste notes. I also learned that they don't serve wine that's been opened for longer than a couple days. On this visit, we had an honor to have chat with the owner, Bob. He is a very passionate and delightful person. He started the winery in his 60s and now it is one of the oldest wineries in Chelan. I can't wait to visit again! read more

We planned a last-minute weekend getaway to Chelan and booked a resort on Friday night. Early Saturday morning, we hit the road, excited for a spontaneous adventure. On our drive, we looked up things to do in the area and saw that Chelan is surrounded by many wineries. Based on the glowing reviews, we chose Tsillan Cellars as our main destination for the day. When we arrived, we were immediately blown away by the estate -- the views were absolutely stunning and the grounds were beautiful. However, the experience quickly took a disappointing turn. The restaurant was fully booked, so we went straight to the wine tasting room. When we approached the bar, there were two bartenders: a male who was already assisting customers, and a tall female dressed in black. Her demeanor stood out immediately -- no smile, very cold body language, and a piercing stare that made us feel unwelcome from the start. As this was our first visit, we politely asked about how the wine tasting worked. She explained the tasting process and mentioned that the fee would be waived if we purchased two bottles. While her words were fine, her tone, facial expressions, and overall attitude made us feel very uncomfortable. Still, we chose to give her the benefit of the doubt, assuming maybe she was just having a rough day. As we continued the tasting, we interacted with several other staff members who were warm, friendly, and helpful. It was a relief -- until we noticed something troubling. The original bartender who had been so cold toward us was now serving other (white) customers with a completely different energy: smiling, chatting, laughing. It was like watching a totally different person, and it felt like a slap in the face. When we were ready to purchase a half dozen bottles of wine, we returned to the bar. That same bartender was again happily engaged with another group of white customers, so we asked a different young woman for help. She asked for our name to pull up our account, but we hadn't been asked for any information earlier. She checked with the original bartender, who again shifted into her cold, dismissive mode and incorrectly claimed she had opened the account under someone else in our party. The young lady helping us was clearly caught in an awkward position but remained kind and apologetic as she quickly checked us out. By then, the damage was done. We decided not to make the purchase. It's 2025 -- and it's heartbreaking to still be treated differently because of how you look. What should have been a beautiful memory was soured by the feeling that we weren't welcome. One person's attitude tainted the experience at an otherwise lovely estate. We won't be returning, and I hope this feedback leads to some much-needed reflection. read more

Arrived a little early for our reservation, so we did some wine tasting next door, which was a great way to pass time! Although the portions seemed small, they were actually perfect and quite tasty. My only complaint was having to ask for butter to go with the bread, to me, it should be automatic and we were not the only table to ask. The views are gorgeous! Your food is horrific. Seriously do something about the chef asap. Everything else is perfect. Beautiful place to eat. Wonderful service. But the food is insanely bad. Why not just simplify your menu down to basic things your team can cook? Try to work your way up to competing with Olive Garden before you try to compete with Napa. I want to be clear, that is a serious suggestion, simplify the menu to things you can cook like 5 types of pasta and 5 very simple types of sauce. A few proteins. Don't let the chef do anything creative. That's the only way I can imagine this chef being successful. Or just get a better chef. read more

WOW WHAT A TIME WE HAD!!! We can't say enough about this place and their staff (shout out to MATT)!! We had a birthday function in the mountains and ended up at this beautiful winery with 14 other girls. The drive up and inside remind you of a hallmark movie. Award-winning winery. Positioned up on the slope near the vineyard. Beautifully designed building and interior. It has a warm cozy feel, especially in the winter. A huge fireplace, musical entertainment, a small gift shop, outdoor seating with a beautiful waterfall, bridge over a Koi pond and restaurant. Not to mention a great variety of wine. We enjoyed a bottle of Bocciolo Di Rosa - Rose Wine, by the fire. And enjoyed the sounds of The Skiffs. Also great during the holidays, like Valentines Day! This is a really beautiful tasting room with tons of space, great wines, and the day we were there- fun activities too! We had just been dining in the adjacent Sorrento's and were blown away by the view and gorgeous grounds. After brunch we meandered into the tasting room and found comfy seats by the fireplace and ordered a few tastings. All the wine we sampled was great and we loved the tasting display they brought out. They were having a really nice fall family activity day with crafts for kids to work on. While we didn't have any kids with us, it was neat to see that everyone was having a great time. This is such a beautiful spot with a great view, amazing restaurant, and a comfortable spacious tasting room. Definitely will be on our list to visit when we return. read more

We are visiting from California. Came here for a wedding celebration. The bride and groom sky dove onto the winery and held a small ceremony on the winery's property. So awesome. Afterwards we had wine while awaiting dinner. The property is beautiful. There are koi ponds to entertain the kids. The koi literally allowed kids to pet them! Service was excellent. Tho a bit chaotic, understandably. So probably best to keep track of your own tab and look it over. Complimentary tastings came with every 2 bottles of wine purchased. This was printed on a sheet but not brought up by staff when you buy your bottles. Not that our party needed more wine! Prices were reasonable. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely. The cuisine is Italian food. Food was decent. Bread was warm but came with a kind of salad dressing dip rather than a good olive oil/balsamic vinegar. The fried calamari was unexpectedly spicy (that made a 4 year old cry). I had the ciopino. The seafood was cooked perfectly but the "broth" was the consistency of marinara sauce. I went to Tsillan Cellars on a solo trip in May. I had seen pictures of it online and wanted to go and see the view of the lake while sipping on some wine. I tried the tomato soup, red wine, and two cannolis for dessert. The food and ambience were spectacular! What really stuck with me was the service. I was one person during a dinner rush - and did not order much food and only one glass of wine. My bill was not high, but the host and wait staff treated me like I had rented out the whole place. They were are all so kind and friendly. They gave me a table in front of the fireplace with a view of the lake. It was truly just such a warm and welcoming experience. We just had a lovely tasting at Tsillian with Jewlia. The wines were all delicious and we ended up purchasing 4 of them...a Riesling, muscat blend, Viognier and a Merlot. The tasting room is beautiful and Jewlia was knowledgeable and fun! As an added bonus, this winery has the best views of the valley and Lake Chelan. If you are in the area, do stop in for a visit. Stopped by for Sunday Brunch on the way home from the Methow Valley. Booking was super easy, both initial reservation, and changed up our booking to a party of four. First impressions - the location is spectacular, easy parking, great setting overlooking Lake Chelan. The staff at the front desk were really personable - their happy, welcome greeting was really nice after driving a long distance . Showed us through to our table outdoors in the beautiful courtyard. Service was just right - Ashton - happy, friendly, knowledgeable, just the right pace. We were about 30mins ahead of our other guests, so we got started with some coffee and mimosas. Was great to sit out and enjoy the weather and people watch. Our guests finally arrived, we ordered off the brunch menu. Price reasonable, portion sizes perfect. 10/10 for the kitchen, food was delicious. Quick glass of Sangio wrapped up our trip, we bought a bottle to-go. Our only complaint was about one of the workers who was either having a bad day or simply didn't like us. She was short, rude, and overall just not welcoming. Beautiful grounds. Delicious wines. I was enthralled by the architecture, rolling hills and stunning views all around. Took me to Tuscany! Very family friendly. They have a koi pond with lots of fish that can keep kids busy while you sip and savor. They even gave fish food to feed the fish. We first met Kelly who was just incredible. She taught us some things about wine and the venue then passed us off to Julia who did most of our tasting. The koy pond that they give you some fish food for. This place is a slice of HEAVEN!! I could spend every weekend here. Service was immaculate! My roommate and I went here for wine tasting and had a great time. We went in the beginning of March and it was still pretty cold but the view was amazing with the snowcapped hills, as well as the vineyards, even though they aren't growing at the moment. The wine tasting is $15 for five samples of wine. A great part of this is that if you buy a bottle it'll take away the cost for the wine tasting. They have bottles ranging from $20-$40 on the list so this was a great deal! Anita helped us with our wine tasting and she was amazing. Can't wait to come back this summer! read more

Fell in love with this winery at our first visit in early summer of 2020. I don't know if it was the view (it sits on top of a hill overlooking the lake), or the weather (it was sunny and blue skies), or the ambience....or maybe all of the above and then some. But our visit, although short, was memorable. We liked the wine, so much so, that we joined the wine club. Our first visit, was a short one. It was only by chance that we discovered this winery (another story, another review). Sorrento's Ristorante was closed due to Covid, but they were offering a dinner package for 4. It was around Father's day and their dinner package was 4 huge cut of steak, vegggies, starch and dessert; plus we bought a couple of bottles that they recommend with the steaks. When we picked up the dinner package, the tasting room was open so we decided to do an impromptu tasting. They had a corn hole game set-up on the lawn. We were enjoying the wine, weather, and outdoors. We went back for a second visit, later on in the summer and celebrated a birthday at Sorrento's...definitely another story, another review. read more

"and this is no easy task!"...my cruel and hardhearted bride of 36 years would tell you, sipping her Chateau St Michelle in her odd and ironic mason jar. The first thing I noticed was the twisted sliver of lemon upon my pasta. It felt like a physical metaphor for both my twisted expectations of italian cuisine, and twisted love for red vines! Hahahahaha. The scallops in my linguine were shockingly good, easily the best scallops I've ever had. The same goes for their massive prawns, all of which were piping hot and yet tender. The takeaway of the evening was as the old adage follows: A dead piranha doesn't eat much. every undertone in every dish was accented to perfection, and the main thesis statements of every dish were subtle. Wine is good and the tasting room knows what they are selling. The restaurant staff done know what they are serving. I asked what was on the charcuterie board and was told strawberry cheese and goat cheese plus other food. No goat or strawberry cheese. The charcuterie board in the picture is not even close to what we were serviced. Not worth $28, $5 maybe. This board is why we decided to not stay for dinner. As for the wine, it's all good.
