Filet mignon

Every dish we ordered was amazing - fire prawns, summer berry salad, grilled salmon, and filet mignon. Not expecting to find such a great restaurant in such a remote place - it's a rare gem!

Pesto Gnocci with a Filet Mignon, drizzled with a balsamic reduction - topped with bacon and pine nuts! A+

My family and I have been a patrons of Wapato Point Cellars for the last 7+ years. It was always been the favorite meal for my family during our stay in Manson... until this year. We have always made it a point to visit (at least) the Friday we were in town, for their EPIC fried chicken dinner. (Most years we dined at least 2 nights during our 7 day stay). This year we arrived on a Friday and knew we needed to be at the restaurant by 5pm. (In years past, they started dinner service at 5pm and DID NOT accept reservations if you weren't a wine member.) This year we arrived on a Friday at 5:15pm. They asked if we had a reservation. We said we weren't wine members so we hadn't made one. They hemmed and hawed throwing times around, and finally came to an availability of a table at 6:30pm. Let me paint the picture of the state of the restaurant when we arrived... it was a GHOST TOWN. We were baffled when they said they didn't have space because they were "booked". There were NO people waiting when we arrived, and the restaurant only had about 5 tables occupied. While I do understand holding tables for wine members, I don't understand how they couldn't accommodate a party of 4 when the restaurant was empty! I understand that policies change, but I also think they should have some flexibility for regular customers that are used to the old policy of NO RESERVATIONS, especially when the place is clearly NOT full! When I mentioned we came at 5pm specifically to get the chicken dinner and were concerned about missing out, they said that they didn't offer the Friday Chicken special anymore. That was very disappointing. The regulars would tell us that people would come from Wenatchee for the chicken dinner, so clearly it was a hit! Despite this hiccup, we still decided to make a reservation for Wednesday dinner because we always had such a great experience here. We came back Wednesday for dinner (6pm reservation). My father in law ordered a Chardonnay. The server came back and said they were OUT of Chardonnay. I'm sorry is this a winery?? How are you out of a basic Chardonnay ???!!!! I'm convinced it's because we weren't members.... I digress. He ordered a margarita, which my husband and father in law both raved about in years past. They both said the margaritas were weak and not good. They didn't include the fruits muddled in like they used to. Wapato Cellars used to be top notch in service, offering fresh bread as a (free) appetizer. Another thing of the past. Want water? Good luck. Our water glasses went unfilled throughout our meal. Another thing they used to excel in, water servers constantly filling your glasses. Not anymore. Disappointment after disappointment. Dinner: My father in law ordered a steak. Instead of mashed potatoes he asked for a loaded baked potato. (Keep in mind this plate was around $49). The sever said the baked potato would be a $5 up-charge. I'm sorry .... whatttttt??! When the food came, he received a plain baked potato, not even cut, with NO extras. He had to ask for the "loaded" fixings. Not sure how a baked potato with sour cream, chives and bacon bits is $5 more than mashed potatoes... but again, I digress. My husband and I ordered the chicken special (NOT any thing like the old one!!). Portion was small and the chicken was over flavored with maple glaze, overpowering the potatoes underneath. Service was lacking, food was lacking, and overall was NOT the 5 star experience we are used to having at Wapato Cellars. Disappointment after disappointment. I doubt we will return.

Seafood Skillet Dip ($18)

Came here for dinner with a group of friends. We had a group of 8 people, ordered a couple apps, lots of wine, some cocktails, and dinner. - Seafood Skillet Dip - this is a pretty small portion but is still enough to share and comes with bread - Steamer Clams - also comes with bread. yummy sauce for dipping - Spinach Salad - the half portion alone was plenty big and surprisingly filling (full of bacon, cheese, nuts, eggs) - Burger - good burger! Fully loaded. Loved the big thick slices of fresh tomato on here. The bar was a bit backed up so our drinks took a while, but overall we had a great time and the waitress was really friendly. Unfortunately they were out of the country fried chicken which I really wanted to try, but I recommend showing up early to increase your chances :) The fried chicken at $24 is much more affordable than their crispy chicken which is in the $30s.

Herb-Crusted Halibut - some of the best we've ever had!

If you're looking for delicious food, this winery happily delivers! I have to say that the service was slow, but we did like the food. Starter was a special featuring Octopus - delicious light spicy flavor and perfectly cooked! I tried the Winemakers Burger and hubby had the Halibut. The burger was delicious and we happily pronounced this amongst the best halibut we've ever had! And that coming from being seafood lovers who catch and cook our own on a regular basis. Topped it off with a Lemon Mascarpone Cake which was moist but lemony and light. Delicious meal, but do need a little more attentive service. Thank you!

Started our visit with being greeted by the handsome pups, Willie and Leo. Inside the winery was spacious, clean, and welcoming with an outstanding view of the lake and surrounding hills. Tiffany served us from the $19 Experience tasting menu. Some of the selections were quite tasty and Tiffany even added a couple of additional tastes that led us to buying a bottle that wasn't on the original tasting list. The wine bottle prices ranged from the high $30s to $70s. Tiffany was professional and friendly and even gave us recommendations for wines to try at another winery. The view was gorgeous and we couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. Plus the lovely branded glass is a gift when you get the tasting package. So happy we landed here on our first night at Chelan. Thank you to Tiffany for the great service. Highly recommended stop while you're in Chelan (located in the Wapato Point area).

They do have a kids menu! And a great spot in the back for kids to run and play. Upscale but family friendly too.

Went to Karma's Winterfest Happy Hour 4-8 pm; $50/$60 per person; taco bar, etc. Arrived at 5 pm…read moreand place was packed. Stand-up tables in the middle of the room, chairs and regular tables around perimeter of 1/2 of the room. The people at stand-up tables had placed their coats, etc. on top of the perimeter tables and chairs. So we had no where to place our plates, wine and drinks. I moved coats from one table to another covered table to clear a place for us to use. Here's the issue: even though Karma is a venue for special events, not one employee, nor manager, had the ability to see this problem with seating/tables and find a coat rack ... certainly they must have them there. Next, a couple of guests try to get in my face about moving "their coats" as though "their coats" deserved a table of their own. A most uncomfortable evening when all we wanted was to enjoy our food and drink, hoping, in vain, some manager at Karma would seek a level of professionalism that would avoid a problem like this. I paid $100 for this??? Lake Chelan has wonderful wineries that do an excellent job, and I would recommend almost anyone other than Karma. Thanks for reading.

Upon walking up, you pass by a lovely little landscaped waterfall and go over a bridge, and just know you are about to be somewhere beautiful. The plants and landscaping here are stunning and add to the sunny allure. The koi pond is also so pretty and surrounded with flowers. They have tons of umbrellas and shady spots, making this nice for even the hotter days of summer. I generally order the bubbles flight here, as they are known for their sparkling. This includes three very generous pours, which are pre-selected. I love comparing the flavors and trying something new every time I go! My friend and I always get great photos here. It's a wonderful place to dress up and take photos. Shoutout to their bathrooms too- very very spacious and clean. Do not miss the best bubbles and vibes in Chelan!

My husband and I came in with our two toddlers and my MIL for dinner. As our reservation was at 7…read morepm and we were in the area earlier than our reserved time, we strolled to their tasting room to purchase a glass of wine. I can't say enough how kind the staff - both at the tasting room and restaurant - were to my family. The restaurant itself had a magical ambience, most especially because it was just right after Christmas. The perfect lighting makes or breaks it and they got it right. Driving below looking at Tsillan Cellars, I imagined the restaurant to be more spacious than what I thought it to be, rather, it was a bit more intimate which was quite nice. As it was dark, we could not see the view but I would imagine that it would have been outright stunning in the day. As for the food, we ordered the shrimp risotto, steak, and canelloni for the adults. This establishment also offers a kid's menu and although I usually have my kids eat from whatever I order, we decided they cam order a plate of their own, which was spaghetti and chicken tenders with rosemary fries. All of the dishes were of quality and of course, delicious. I wish I could get another plate of the risotto. If we ever get the chance to come back, I would certainly come back and reserve a time when there is daylight to enjoy the view of the area and water.

Service: my boyfriend called to schedule a reservation. Number one I have a food allergy (onions,…read moreshallots, green onion and chive). He spoke at length to them about the allergy and if substitutions were made. We had the online menu and several of the dishes we were promised were onion free, including ciopinno. Now I make this at home. I am aware there are standard white onions in the broth. He doesn't know that, he just knows I love it. He clarified twice with whoever answered the phone. When he brought me, he had assured me they said it was onion free. *In a Morgan Freeman voice* it was in fact not onion free, nor were most of the dishes on the menu. I know better than to get too invested into any menu items prior for asking if it is safe. Second, we asked for a table with a view, preferably outside. This is primarily because of the onion allergy and he wanted a view. They put us in the middle of the dining hall. We asked about the view, the seating hostess "well this is the best view." There were three tables out on the patio. We had a view of a bridal party and bros who were spilling their drinks. I after a lengthy back and forth about food items, I was instructed to order protein and sides that were safe. What I ordered: scallops cooked in a butter, lemon and white wine sauce order a pasta of the chef's choosing. What she kept ordering were plain scallops, buttered noodles and a side of vegetables. I kept correcting her that I did not want buttered noodles. I stead of listening to me, she kept asking me what type of noodles I wanted. She didn't allow the chef to choose, she wrote linguini. I tried one more time correcting her, Steph wouldn't fix it. The lack of communication is sad. The food: I wish I could talk about the food. I got tasteless butter garlic noodles, three very small tasteless scallops, a side of shaved parmesan and a side of vegetables. I paid $45 dollars to be fed a meal worthy of a picky 2 year old and not what I ordered. I cannot fault the chef. I have no doubt he hated making that dish given what was on that menu. After heavily salting, I gave up after three bites. My boyfriend was very clear with Steph. I was very clear with Steph. She would not listen. Ambiance: is beautiful. Worthy of all the IG pictures. Because they accommodated the food allergy, I chose to not give one star. But honestly they deserve a one star review. Recommendations: Teach your staff how to listen. I had one amazing restaurant that will highlight with a highlighter what I can eat and underline anything that be accommodated. That was probably the best restaurant I have ever experienced.
