GREAT BUY! THANKS!!! The order was as expected on ease of purchasing and quick shipping.

This was a great price for the router lift and the shipping was VERY fast. Great service and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Super fast delivery and the items are exactly as described. I'm really happy with my order from focus camera. I will definitely do business with them in the future. read more

Very poor customer service. I've been trying to return an item for the past month. It was originally ordered through Groupon and after three attempts through them to seek return information (as per the policy), I reached out to Focus and have received only an RMA code. No other directions or shipping labels (as returns were supposed to be of no charge). Service standards are dropping everywhere, but come on. I don't want to get stuck with this item! read more

I have recently made several camera-related purchases from Focus Camera and I have found their pricing and their service excellent. Ms. Kaya in the customer service office was friendly and efficient, both on the phone and in email exchanges. read more

Amazing service I was nervous to order outside of Amazon to be honest but the delivery was as fast great job.

Do not purchase from this seller, buy from best buy, amazon bhvideo or whoever else but stay away from focus camera. I purchased a mirrorlesss camera as a bundle, I got everything first except the camera, when I did receive my camera finally it was an open box with a shutter count of 4, I paid for a brand new camera why would you send me an open box!?. Their shipping method is very slow it will take about 10 days after your place your order and they are not trust worthy. I will never buy from them again and I will make sure I will post my review everywhere to help another fellow consumer out. read more

Originally I had issues with my order and communication and gave Focus Camera a low rating. After a delayed response, Focus Camera, Joyce P lived up to her promise of making the order right. Within a week, my complete order arrived. They performed excellent service recovery and do have some great prices. I do recommend them for your electronic needs! read more

Last I knew, the state of Hawaii was part of the USA. Their system says they can't ship 'internationally' after I create an account. The US MAIL delivers all the time on my street. There is no feature to delete an account, plus it would NOT take a different billing address than the shipping one. Bet they don't ship to Alaska, either. As we say here - 'junk company'. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

Good communication with company. Very rapid shipping of my order. I was very pleased with my experience with them.

Good price, easy ordering and fast shipping. Ive used them before and I'd definitely use them again.

Excellent experience. I received a defective item, however Focus Camera sent me a new replacement right away!! Service done right.

The Yamaha guitar arrived on time and without any issues. It amazes me how a guitar of this quality can be sold at such an affordable price with a guitar case and free shipping. Thank you! read more

awesome delivery and cheap price on my cross pens I ordered. Had no issues at all and it was great experiences

Talked with Max of Focus Camera through LiveChat on their website. He was very polite and was able to answer my questions regarding Sony a6400 bundles. He also able to help me with pricing and upgrade my shipping option for free. It was a great experience overall and I hope the camera meets the expectations I've been reading so positively about. You can also check out their Ebay store and read reviews for them there as well. However if you don't live in NY, it's a better deal to buy through the website as you won't be charged tax. If you are an avid Ebayer, you could always find what you want from the Focus Camera Ebay Store, then contact them directly (LiveChat/Phone/Email) and save yourself some cash. So far, everything checks out well with Focus Camera on my end and I will be a returning customer. Thanks Max! read more

Shipped wrong item and would only ship the correct item via an exchange with normal shipping speed. Customer service was adequate in response time but only offered exchange vs refund. When this has happened in the past with large or small sellers the company that shipped the wrong item immediately shipped the correct item usually with expedited shipping. I am now left to hope the original ordered item is still in stock by the time the exchange is processed. This was not a high end tv - this was a baseball mitt from the focus lifestyle brand. Update: Company reached out again to try to offer some explanation. Upon further inquiry the issue was related to Easton sku numbers in the warehouse and the original item was not available. I'm glad customer service reached out again to provide this information instead of me waiting for the exchange to ultimately fail in a few weeks. Barely average initial customer service response. Exceptional response from their next level customer service tier. read more

Great deal on an awesome JBL speaker with secure, fast shipping! Focus Camera FTW!

When surfing for a specific set of high quality earbuds, I learned this was one of the few "local" stores that carried the set I was looking to buy. Instead of spending an extra $25 for a higher price + shipping, I decided a subway ride and a tangible inspection was worth risking the hassle. It became a hassle just trying to locate the store and even more of a hassle of getting them to answer the phone. Eventually I got on the line with their customer support line and the guy was able to direct me to the proper location. When I did find the store, it was so not what I had pictured in mind. It was a small little camera shop that was situated in a semi-run down neighborhood in the Borough Park area. It was the only open business on the block and the only one without graffiti all over the windows. This was an operation run by Orthodox Jews, my first encounter ever with such a specific group during my first few months as a New York transplant. Just looking around the block, it was clear that I was not one of the "locals" and stuck out like a sore thumb. Nonetheless, they were helpful in locating my item as I had called ahead of time to place a hold on it. After parting with $75 (a price much cheaper than B&H or J&R), I landed the best headphones I've ever had that I still use today (Shure E2C). It was worth the adventure and was an eye opening experience. read more

Because I had an older cyber shot camera, there were fewer new things to learn, which is great. Delivery was earlier than projected which is always great. One point is that a memory card is separate (not included). I ordered this camera because the technology, while not state of the art, was an advancement over my 2009 model which works fine and will serve as a backup. Bear in mind that larger files require more memory on hardware and software. I do appreciate the updated Play Memories Home software which I had lost when my computer imploded. read more

Focus Camera - Using the delayed snap feature and a tripod. - Photography Stores & Services Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I recently placed an over with Focus Camera over the phone and feel compelled to write a review after receiving my package. In researching the company, I came across many negative reviews and was a little apprehensive about ordering from them, as I am sure many out there are. However, they offered an great deal on a Sony a7III camera bundle with $250 worth of free included equipment, and I took the plunge. I ordered over the phone because I am a student and called to inquire about receiving a student discount. Max was very helpful and confirmed my student status within minutes. My order shipped within 2 hours and was delivered right on schedule via UPS 2nd day air. Everything inside with brand new (no evidence of used or refurbished goods) with original packaging and sealing. Thank you, Focus Camera, for your great customer service and prompt delivery! read more

Great deal on a great product! My scope and mounting rings arrived on time and for a better price anywhere on the internet!

Normally I don't write reviews, but my experience here was so bad, I felt compelled to do so. I placed 3 orders with them on the 17th. They had Sony A7 IIIs in stock when no one else did, and promised free one day shipping. I received a voicemail from Michael in their verification department the next day asking me to return his call and make sure the purchases were legitimate. I called back and left a voicemail since Michael wasn't available. 2 days pass and my order still shows as being "on hold". I call multiple times throughout the day and still cannot get a hold of Michael. I try live chatting with them, and the lady I talked to could not even find the order numbers in the system and eventually ended the chat by saying "shipping to California takes 4-5 business days". So much for free one day shipping. Finally, I contact them again via live chat at the end of the day and find out that my orders were cancelled due to "fraud". I didn't even receive cancellation emails or any other form of contact like any normal business would have done. Meanwhile I have thousands of dollars of pending purchases being held on my credit cards and who knows when they will finally be removed. I have my own ecommerce business and have to evaluate orders for fraud all the time. In my opinion, Focus Camera and their mysterious insurance company handled this all wrong. The large purchase amount surely threw up red flags and I don't blame them for wanting to do their due diligence. However, everything else about my orders checked out - I used my home IP address from a well known ISP and not some shady proxy like a typical fraudster would have. The billing and shipping addresses on my orders match. They should have received a "Y" AVS code from their payment processor since my address and zip code matches the info on my credit cards. And lastly, me calling verification back and leaving a voicemail stating that yes, I did indeed make and authorize those purchases should have been all that they needed to process those orders. I have bought photography equipment from DataVision, Adorama, B&H, PixelConnection, and Bedfords without any of these issues. I would recommend anyone looking to buy photography equipment to steer away from Focus Camera and try any of the above stores instead. read more

I ordered a Panasonic ZS-80 from Focus Camera for Father's Day...they were out of stock, but I went ahead and ordered anyway. Order a Camera Bundle for an EOS 80D, received mostly everything but the most important item the camera. Now that I have, I have made some research online it seems like FC is used to doing this to customer, so either you guys are scamming people or Im not sure. I have been talking to this young man who has been nice, yet has made me feel like its my fault . the first thing I was told last friday when I called was please send photos of everything. I did that right away. Now I keep being told you need 24 hours then you need another 24-40 hours again. Then I keep being told the camera was in the box??? When it wasn't , not to mention the bag had some defects and also there was an item that was switch with another item which I chose not to make a big deal about it. At first I just wanted my camera sent, but since I started to see that you guys didnt not want to really help a customer (rule #1 the customer is always right) I decided that I no longer wanted to continue my business with FC. Instead I just want to resolves this and would like a shipping label so I can send back the few items I receive. If my card gets charge I will take legal action against your company because it seems like this has been done to a lot of customers lately . I need this matter resolved as soon as possible. It shouldn't take more than a week to figure out what happen to a camera that wasn't shipped to my home, either you guys sent the wrong box, forgot to put the item inside the box, or I would hate to accused someone of stealing and scamming me for $949.00, which is pretty pathetic & sad. God knows all things. The worst Experience... This had never happen to me and it makes me sad to not know what can happen and how people are capable of making you feel like you did something when in fact you didnt..... BE aware with this place... I don't recommend. Just Incase I have emails to prove that all was spoken & communicated in relation the defects of the bag and the item that was replaced with another item. read more

Ordered Samsung buds plus on this site via a deal site, so it was my first experience with Focus camera. They sent me last years model the Samsung buds. I wouldn't of even know but the old buds don't hookup to Samsung's app. Doesn't seem like an honest mistake. I contacted Focus camera and returned immediately. After Focus camera received the item they contacted me saying the box they received was empty. Really? Not very honest. So here I am 3 weeks later with no item and no refund. I'm going to strongly advise you to not do business with this very dishonest company. The lack of integrity shows how desperate this business is. read more

I've very upset and will be contacting the better business bureau! I had the Tamron 28-75 pre ordered with B&H for 30 days I ordered with you yesterday at 10am ca time, and canceled my order with B&H, loosing my spot in line to get the lens because you promised I would get my lens no later then Friday! I was giving the option for 1 day delivery you charged me for a one day delivery! I spoke to multiple people who said I would get my lens! I call on to sales and they hang up on me I never get a email for shipping info! Customer service says I'll have my lens Friday guaranteed! Thursday morning still no email or shipping info so I called in and they said my order was never confirmed and they don't have any more lenses! Soon as Sony rumors announced you guys had them in stock I ordered at 10:17 am got the proof and screen shot of confirmation number! read more

Ordered a Sony 120GB XQD card and the Sony CFexpress Type B/XQD Card Reader from Amazon. The order was full filled by Focus Camera. They sent the correct Sony XQD card; however, instead of the OEM Sony XQD card reader, they sent a very cheap no name Made in China knock off. Thank goodness for Amazon. I returned both items and reordered from B&H Photo. They are so honest. You receive what is advertised every time. Fast shipping and perfectly packed. It amazes me that Focus can play their deceptive little game and stay in business. B&H is in the same city, but is a totally honest business. I have now bought numerous photo items from B&H and they are a five star business. read more

Ordered online. Great price and super fast shipping. Very clear website and easy checkout.

How are you going to ship anything over $500 without requiring a signature? My package was left outside my building main entry door because these idiots did not require a signature. Anything over a certain amount should automatically require signature! These irresponsible "fill in the blank" will never get my business ever again because my package was lost and they gave me such a hard time! Screw them! I hope they close down! read more

I ordered a Sony A7III that was in stock. On Wednesday night I placed an order for one-day shipping. I did not get an order confirmation email - order kept showing as pending. I reached out to the customer service on Thursday to inquire, and they said all is ok. The camera did not arrive on Friday, and I have not received any correspondence on shipment tracking. This is just very poor fulfillment by Focus Camera. I missed a planned gig on this weekend because of the missed order. Update: ---------- I got a call from Focus Camera on Wednesday that they have been able to procure a camera for me and they are shipping it out. I received the camera the day after - promptly before 10:30 AM as promised. Given that this camera is back-ordered everywhere I looked - B&H, Adorama, and others, I'm impressed with the fact that they have been able to arrange one for me - albeit a little late. I received the camera on Thursday morning promptly before 10:30 PM - about 4 business days later than the original expected date of receipt. I'm satisfied with how the customer service handled the case, and they also offered me a gift card for the delay in their processing. Though I wish that they had not set the expectation of me receiving the item next day, I'm satisfied that they have been able to get me a unit in record time given availability of the item in the market. I'll surely be buying again from Focus Camera. read more

They asked me to review something I purchased from them, they did not like the review so they would not publish it. Do not trust the product reviews, they only accept the ones they like. My email from them about my review: "scott, Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time! Submit something new Thanks again, Focus Camera it runs very hot, i would guess that is why it was returned in the first place I do not think this was really refurbished, it has the same issues as it probably did when it was returned in the first place." read more

I ordered an HP Envy with Focus Camera LLC that was advertised with 1TB Hard Drive + 256GB SSD. The machine I received only had a 500GB HDD. Unfortunately, I noticed this unpleasant little switcheroo/mislead outside of the time frame to return or request a refund, so I'm screwed. But my hope is that EVERYONE else will learn from this and save themselves the headaches by doing business with another seller/vendor. read more

Be careful when you purchase products from this company. I purchased a lens at their booth at the WPPI show in Las Vegas 2020. I was expecting the lens the following week as I was told by the salesman Ralph. A week passed and no lens. I called and spoke to Ralph he said the lens was delayed because that is when the covid shut down was starting. I understood. A couple of weeks later I called and another sales person assured me that the lens would be coming. It has been two months now. I got online and started a chat with Ralph and told him to cancel my order, to send me back the lenses I had traded toward the new lens. He said those had been sold and would send me the check for that. And I said and of course you will credit my credit card with the difference I paid. He agreed. Well here I am on May 6, 2020 with no credit card refund and no check received for the lenses. I feel very ripped off. If you can do business with other camera shops. An update to this review. As of today Joyce from Focus contacted me and issued my refund right away. Also sent out the check for my traded in lenses. She was very helpful and I do appreciate the quick response which was all I was looking for in the first place. I understand these are tough times right now and people just need to be communicated with. She also offered me a credit at the store and I have asked that be donated to perhaps a first responder that would like some photography equipment. read more
