    Alligator bites-get them!

Ahhhh Mazing!!! Pug is always on point. Each and every time I visit. If you've not been, you must go!!! I love the team work amongst the employees here. You need something? Stop the first person you see. They grab what you need without saying let me find your waiter/waitress. My girl Marissa keeps the drinks filled and the can I get you anything coming. No matter how busy she may be. Adam and Nicole has picked some awesome people to work at their establishment and I'm just going to keep coming. Until next time Pug!!!!

Crawfish by the pound and 5lbs special.

I wish they didn't run out of crawfish but the rest of the food is good too. Wings are crunchy and well seasoned. Burgers are good. French fries are always yummy. Don't know why or how they sold out of Blue Moon draft one time but that's ok. Will be coming back for more crawfish soon!

False advertisement. The crawfish pricing on their website should've stated a minimum of 2lbs. It's not stated anywhere online or the menu. I came in tonight and was very rudely dealt with because I called attention to the false advertisement since I only wanted 1lb of crawfish. I was craving the spice and crawfish but can't eat much and my partner wasn't in the mood to share any crawfish with me, he wanted a quesadilla instead. Please tell me why would I pay more for extra food that won't be eaten. That's wasteful. Money and food wise. I was told I had to pay for 2lbs to get any crawfish at all. I simply asked if it was anywhere stated that there was a minimum for crawfish.... My waitress went to get the female manager on duty tonight and she stated it was "stated on the menu" and then walked off with no discussion. This is a lie. It's not stated anywhere. At this point I still didn't even have a menu in hand since service was so slow. I was not given a crawfish menu (which is different than the regular menu) to verify the minimum until a very rude and frankly probably over stimulated (they were busy tonight but I don't feel it's an excuse) male manager came over and handed me one then explained it's NOT on the menu that there's a limit for minimum pounds ordered on crawfish but "they can't charge for only 1lb of crawfish in "the new system"". when I asked how that was my problem or any of my concern, I came because of the advertised 1lb/ $8.99 crawfish, he became very rude and irate. The POS (point of sale) system is none of the costumers concern. The correct way to handle this as a manager would've been to give me 1lb of crawfish, charge me for 2 then add a concession of $8.99 since the establishment advertised for $8.99 per 1lb. I've worked in the service industry for 10+ years, you MUST have critical thinking skills to survive. But instead you were dismissive, didn't even attempt a solution and treated a woman as if she were the issue/ crazy, told me "you can just not eat here then" and walked off mid conversation, and in turn made himself look like a completely under trained and under educated fool. Shame on both managers. But more so shame on the owner for leaving the establishment understaffed, under trained and for not hiring competent management with critical thinking skills. This could be a great spot but due to its poor service and rude staff, which is documented on recent reviews online, I don't see myself or friends ever returning.

After wanting to try this place for sooo long, we were finally in the area!! I'm SO glad we stopped in! The crawfish were DELICIOUS and oysters were fresh! Being a crawfish feeeen, I love trying new places and finding all the good ones! We even got to play a few games of pool after eating. Pool and crawfish, where could you go wrong? The micheladas were YUMMY also! The rest of their menu looked FANTASTIC!! I really wish we lived closer because I'd love to try so many of those items! The service was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and quick! We love a good sports bar with an at home feel! Anytime I am in the Woodlands area, this will definitely be my go to spot!

5lb crawfish mixed sauce and garlic herb butter
    Pamela D.

The crawfish was very delicious and perfect size! There were so many that looked like lobsters. The garlic herb butter is a must at first it took me a while to like it but then I really enjoyed it! I'm also so glad they give you seasonings on the side and regular butter, it enhances the flavor a lot if you dip it a little or else it's too salty... the place was alright I wish there was more outdoor seating and our server was nice the service was good I do recommend trying it out! Unfortunately it's very far from me but the 5lb for $19 can't be beat!

It's a modest establishment with a very simple menu... A niche spot for locals to hang out or grab a late night beer. But, the comfy-casual & laid-back vibe is welcoming. It's my favorite go-to during crawfish season. Everyone has their flavor preferences, but personally I love Pug's not-too-spicy, garlicky, full of citrus, well seasoned boil. It's finger licking good, and I don't have to add anything else. The crawdads are consistently fresh and cooked right, with curled tails and easy to peel shells. (Last visit, we tried the Chicken & Sausage gumbo, too. Not bad!)

They serve everything from apps, to soups (5 different kinds), salads, sandwiches, burgers and even larger entrees. If you want to splurge, they have 2 steaks that are around $28-30. They even make their own homemade potato chips. Some interesting dishes which you don't usually see at sports bars include: shrimp & crab fondue, jaegerschnitzle/spaetzle, and red fish fritters I originally came in for the burger, which is make your own, but after seeing they have a wing special on Mondays, I picked the wings. They're 10 bone in (or boneless) for only $10 and choose 2 sauces. I picked lemon pepper and mango habanero from among their 9 different sauces. I also added a beer on tap. They have 20 on tap currently. Wings - these were really good and meaty. You can tell they are fresh and likely even cut up back in the kitchen as they were various sizes and some were not cut quite properly. My fav was probably the mango habanero. It wasn't nearly as spicy as Wingstop, but nearly similar flavor. The lemon pepper are pretty good, just not quite as great. Service was pretty good as I was checked on several times by the bartender. Overall, this is a pretty good place to grab a casual meal, or watch some sports with your buddies.

And let me tell you--that shift made all the difference. It gave us the relaxed, low-pressure vibe we needed to actually talk and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed or crowded. We ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers: Three pepper queso (definitely a win) Cheeseburger egg rolls (yes... and yes again) Crab egg rolls (...we'll just say these didn't make the highlight reel) Everything hit except the crab egg rolls--they just weren't giving what they were supposed to give. What I really liked about this spot is that it's not just a sit-and-eat place--it's an experience. They've got pool tables, basketball hoop games, cornhole, and even karaoke studios. We didn't tap into that this time, but trust--we already said next visit is game night. There's also outdoor seating if you want to switch up the vibe. Overall, this was a great place to close out a first date. Good energy, plenty to do, and enough flexibility to make the night what you want it to be. I was going to a Dave Matthews show at the Pavillon and wanted to grab dinner beforehand, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. I got to Market Street about an hour and a half before the concert started, and quickly became really nervous when I discovered the Market Street was apparently now Grand Central Station in New York City. Every human being on Earth was also here and the area was buzzing. After hunting forever, I finally got a parking spot and hustled down to the restaurant, only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait. Not good! However, just in the time it took me to sit down and scan through my phone for a last minute pivot to a new restaurant, my name was called. My 30 minute wait turned into a 5 minute wait and it could not have been more clutch. But because I was still in a bit of a hurry, I was ready and ordered the Trophy Burger as soon as my server came to greet me. And as was the theme of the night so far, said trophy burger was at my table within a few minutes. And because this was a solo mission for me, said trophy burger was in my belly in only about the time it took for them to cook it. My thoughts on the burger is that it was perfectly 4-stars. In between average and amazing. One thing that really stands out is that it was a messy undertaking. Don't eat this on a date before you're comfortable with the other person seeing you with sauce constantly all over your face and spilling onto your plate. Everything was all happening at such hyper speed that I even had time to order the dessert. I love Reeces, so when I saw a Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cup on the menu, I couldn't resist. You'll never believe it, but it was on my table within 2 minutes. My rating for this ranges from bite to bite. Some bites were amazing and others were just okay, depending on which ingredients were within that spoonful. Overall, I wouldn't need to order it again, but no regrets on trying it out. This is a nice addition to Market Street, and the back-of-house deserves a healthy share of the tips with how on top of it they were during a night with a packed house!

Well it's not steak in the traditional sense and it's not "bow". I thought it was bow like a bow tie. But now I think it's just a typo. The cubed Steak was well done. Not medium rare. And honestly I didn't see a single mushroom in my dish. Cake jar is lemon flavor. It was ok. Nothing special though. All in all I'd just go for the atmosphere. Upon arriving, we quickly found out that what was displayed on their Instagram and website is inaccurate. I have a question for the marketing manager of this establishment, is there a reason the website and social media pages have not been updated? If your menu has changed, why not update it immediately so that customers are not expecting certain items and then realize it is no longer on the menu...it really is false advertisement.... The restaurant is located next to The Woodlands Resort and the golf course. Upon entering it's very nice, spacious and inviting. There were only a few guest eating when we arrived. Our party of 6 ordered a few appetizers including Smoked Wings and Jalapeno Bacon Mac, both were good. Our main items included the Woodlands Chicken Pull which was skimpy and flavorless. The Boar and Bull pasta which was mushy, and definitely not worth $28. The Crawfish Cakes which were overall mediocre, and left you wanting more. Texas Smash was the only decent main dish that we tried. The presentation of the food was top tier, however, the food quality and taste was subpar. Shaylee was our waitress for the evening, she was very knowledgeable and attentive. She also brought out a complimentary cheesecake for my brother's birthday. The cheesecake was the only thing he enjoyed. We walked away spending well over $250, yet feeling unfulfilled....Food needs an upgrade & Marketing Manager should revise their socials and website to ensure they align and accurately reflect their current menu.

I was a bit hungry and ordered the Texas Egg Rolls made with chicken, black beans, corn, red bell pepper, pepper jack cheese and a side dipping sauce. They come with 6, 2 bites and done size. These reminded me of the egg rolls from Chili's. They arrived warm and if flavor was fine. I'd get them again. My friend arrives but by this time the area we were in got CROWDED. It seemed there was only one bartender handling both the patrons at the bar and groups at the tables. It took about 15 minutes after my friend arrived to place a beer order. I was trying to order it for him before he arrived but didn't have any success as the bartender stayed mostly on one side of where I was sitting and didn't look up during his time filling orders. Eventually, we are able to order a second round and closed out. Aside from the service being a bit off, and likely due to unexpected being busy, my past experiences have been enjoyable, that's why I chose to come here pre-movie going.
