We stopped by Woody's Hideaway and had a really solid experience overall. especially for me being 39 weeks pregnant, probably not the environment for me but I felt welcome. Food wise, it's good bar food with some creative twists. I tried the wagyu crunch wrap, cheese bites, buffalo wings, fries, and tater tots. The crunch wrap was definitely the standout, really unique and had a nice kick to it (honestly spicier than the buffalo wings). Wings were still solid just a usual classic wing, the fries and tots came out crispy and hot. The atmosphere is a big plus, so many pool tables, plenty of space, and a fun, laid-back environment to hang out with friends. Outdoor area looks great too out front, even have game simulators too! Shoutout to our waitress, Marissa, who did a great job. She was friendly, attentive, and made everything easy. Even great convo which is rare! Overall, a great spot if you're looking for a casual bar with good food, games, and a good vibe. I'd come back. Definitely coming back with a crowd of friends for sure. read more

As far as entertainment this is definitely a 5 star venue. Tons of pool tables, lots of seating, big bar and a virtual game room that you can rent by the hour which was neat (see videos). As far as service and drinks I would say a one star. My drink took almost 30 minutes to come out. Had it been a packed house I may have understood but that's excessive regardless. When she brought my drink I said to go ahead and bring my tab. 45 minutes later and 20 minutes after I finished my lemon drop martini I received the bill. SO to start off we went on a Saturday afternoon in which its a new place and wanted to check it out. The girl who checked us in was cool but then it wall went downhill from there We went to our pool table and started playing, now the pros..nice clean place, lots of TV's and tables and pretty spacious but the service was horrible The wait staff as you can imagine were women in their 20s which that type of place is expected, but with young ppl like that come arrogance, attitudes and laziness, we waited about 30 minutes to even be approached for drinks and the girl that came up to us seemed like she didn't want to be there but did it anyway b/c she was forced, but before that, all the waitresses were gathered at the front registers and completely ignoring us, how do I know, b/c ALL of them looked me straight in the eye and turned their heads or walked away from us, I had to wave my hands in the air and look like a fool to even be seen, then finally we got "Service" from "Tasia" The food was cold by the time we got it, the drinks were cool but the place is a bit overpriced but for that type of place, not surprised, throughout the visit our waitress (and others) walked to everyone else but us, so we felt ignored, I would pull the race card since I WAS the only brother in there but it was a mixed race crowd and wait staff so I can't play that card All in all we felt ignored not just by Tasia but the other wait staff the food was mediocre and cold and overpriced and not that this review matters b/c unless you're an adult that expects decent service when you go to an establishment like this and not a 20 year old kid who pretty much doesn't care..this isn't the place for adults. Whiskey River has better service. But at least I checked it out and now that I have..this place makes me miss living in Katy. read more

Such a great spot! The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, and the service was amazing. Alyssa took great care of us and was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we always had what we needed. It can get pretty busy, but she stayed on top of everything and made our experience so much better. Definitely ask for Alyssa if you come in! We'll be back! read more

We've been to Woody's hideaway twice for the simulator golf with friends. This place is super fun with good service and lots to do. The food is good considering it's all fried bar food. The bar makes good drinks. The atmosphere is lively, and fun. read more

We were out and about on a Monday, especially being off from work on Texas Independence Day, and tried one of Conroe's new bar and eatery. Well, to our surprise, their Happy Hour is from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., one of their special Happy Hour drinks called the Mexican Candy was hellacious and delicious, could not get enough these shot drinks, with their very tasteful flavors on the Iced Mangonada drink, as well. Oh, of course, how I forget, I had a Lone Star Beer, to top it off. and also try their scrumptious and rich Gasto-Pub food, the Chicken Quesadillas with Tater Tots and Spicy Ranch dipping sauce, with the option of Beef Quesadillas. read more

The sliders were AMZING! This place has my favorite type of fries The Cajun hot chicken sandwich was way over salted I couldn't finish it. Chicken quesadillas didn't have any flavor. You could only taste the cheese. I didn't like the $11 pool per person vs per table (it's all day so I guess that works out). Great service from staff. Samantha (the manger) and Cherish (our waitress) were both excellent! We felt welcome and well taken care of the entire time. We ate sliders and the sampler appetizer. What could improve? Pretty much everything! First time with the fam. It's a sports bar, loud, lots of TVs, lots of pool tables. The waitstaff is comprised entirely of Hooters rejects in various stages of being dressed. Most of them seemed to be more interested in the social hour as opposed to providing service. Waited more than 10 minutes for our waitress ("Sorry, it's shift change and we were having a meeting". At 6:30 with the place half full?). Drinks...highly sub-par. Double Kettle One that barely had any alcohol? One drink that got served to another table, and nobody seems to know or care? Other than the bartender, who rolled her eyes and threw a fit that she had to remake a drink that was served to the wrong table? Food. We did appetizers. The wife loves wings. Not these. So flavorless, she asked for extra seasoning (which, when the bill arrived, we were charged for!) Fried pickles...mezzo. Queso...okay (we were hungry!). Best thing I can vouch for was the fried cheese...small curd-like bites that were very soft...they were pretty good. Service. Hard to find/flag down our waitress (I am deliberately excluding her name). Others waitresses passed by our table multiple times (empty handed) without an inquiry about how we were doing, an offer to refill a drink or remove empty baskets from the table...just wandering and chit-chatting. When someone other than our waitress brought food out, it was invariably to a different table, and we had to flag them over to get the order (before it was given away to someone else!). At the end, the MOD comped about half the tab. Nice, but that won't mean a second visit. Lots of other places in Conroe I would recommend before Woody's. read more

New restaurant and we are loving it. The food is good, tons of pool tables and they have two golf rooms and one is a karaoke room that you can rent out for a pretty affordable price. I'm excited that we have such a fun place close to where we live. Prices were very reasonable and they had great happy hour prices as well. My friends and I came here for a night out and had a great time. As soon as we came in we were greeted. The atmosphere and service was really nice and welcoming. They have a lot of pool tables and two golf bays, which made it fun to hang out and play games. We also found out that one of the rooms has karaoke, which was really exciting. The food and drinks were great as well. I would definitely recommend Woody's Hideaway to anyone looking for a fun place to go out with friends.
