So I almost wrote an awful review just so they could put it on the bathroom all but I didn't. Place was real laid back people were super friendly. Your going for a hot dog and a hamburger so don't get so technical on them. Food was delicious. And when I went to the bathroom and looked over at the framed bad Yelp reviews it made it that much better. Thanks! read more

Some of the best food I've ever had. I wish I lived closer to this place. The burgers are amazing and so is the sausage. I highly recommend stopping at this place. read more

Went back for another try. The girl who took our order could have cared less if she were there let alone the customers. My burger fell apart on the untoasted bun. The fries were so salty you could not eat them. Cool sodas to choose from but crappy cheap bottled water. It is not worth the money and they don't care. read more

Wow! Who thought a hot dog place could be so good! Housed in an unassuming rustic roadside cabin, nestled in the heart of the finger lakes wine country, this place is a must stop if you are on the wine trail. OK, it's only hot dogs, but so much more. Sausage made on premiss, home made sauerkraut, awesome wine list, (yes, a hot dog joint with a wine list) makes this a destination, I had a dog with the works which was one of the best I ever had. My son had a burger, everything on it including a fried egg. Very cool menu, definatly worth a trip. A little pricy, but you get what yo pay for. read more

Tasty menu! We had a Plain Jane and a State Fair! Definitely worth to stop by and have a dog if you want something casual. We also ordered the Poutine! The sodas are also delicious. Would come back when in the area again! read more

Fun food and very friendly staff. The hot dogs are tasty. They also have a solid collection of craft brews that even a beer snob will enjoyed. read more

This place is great! Loved the homemade sausages! The employees were friendly and greeted us as soon as we came in, and helped explain the menu. They have some great wine as well! You won't be disappointed!!! read more

Surprised to see that it had the best beer selection of any restaurant I've ever been to. Multiple years of Bourbon County and KBS, CBS, Black Note, Java Cask, Lawsons, Maine Beer Co, etc. Oh and the sausages were delicious too. read more

On a day touring vineyards on Seneca lake, we stopped into the Wienery for a bite to eat. Conveniently located and modestly priced, the Wienery is a great place to refuel. I decided to try the Zweigle's white hot dog, with caramelized onions, which was simply mouthwatering. I highly recommend the poutine and lemon- parsley fries as well. A great local eatery with locally sourced dogs. YUM read more

Excellent destination eatery in the Finger Lakes. Guy Fieri you better get here soon!

The food at FLX Wienery is incredible! I would love to see a staff member dedicated to bussing tables, refilling napkins, taking drink orders and tending to messy restrooms. Upping the overall cleanliness and customer service of FLX Wienery would make this establishment unstoppable. read more

REALLY salty food!!! wow, we threw out our fries and onion rings terrible. The hot dogs were ok but nothing great. Their fries were tiny little nubs and the onion rings had no onion taste just salt and coating. The outside needs a cleaning and some landscaping. read more

Not impressed on my first visit. Do not go here if you are on a low sodium diet. Everything we had was way too salty. The poutine was unbearably so that three of us couldn't finish an order of them. I wanted a hot dog when we went but they were all out of red hots so I settled on a burger which was tasty but overdone. I usually like to try a place at least twice but I'm not sure I will this time. read more

We stopped here for two times during our visit to the Finger Lakes. I had the Local with black bean (veggie) burger - very fresh and tasty!. The quinoa and flax side salad was unusual and delicious. My husband had the burger one day and the Kraut the next visit. Priced right for such great food. The staff was helpful, attentive and fun. Casual. We loved it. read more

This place has a unbelievable chief. So many interesting delicious choices. One was better than the next. Well worth the drive. Staff was beyond friendly. Could not have been more helpful. Perfect lunch spot. read more

First time visit, I noticed an undesirable odor upon entering the building and therefor decided to eat outside at the picnic table. Not impressed with the wiener and salad I ordered. Overall poor experience and will not visit again. read more

After spending a week on Seneca, we saved FLX Wienery for the last day. Based on the reviews, I could not wait to get there. We stopped in for lunch, and four of us ordered four different wieners. I got a Kraut sandwich with Bratwurst, and my wife got a Kraut sandwich with one of the more traditional hot dogs. The roll didn't seem fresh, and it just fell apart. Also, there was a mountain of kraut, but it was cold and didn't add much to the sandwich. Our friends ordered two other wieners, and they said that they were just OK. I will say that the french fries are amazing. I would probably go back and try something else, but none of us were impressed by the first visit. read more

Great! Some locals "The Dean's" told me about this place. I would not go on my own, because I never been to such a singular place. Glad I went and I glad I listed to The Dean's. read more

The food is alright and the outdoor seating is nice, But it just wasn't worth the 30min wait. Not worth returning for.

Simple but super tasty food. Burgers and fries top notch.

Second visit to this place. We brought some friends from out of town with us while on a wine tour, and everyone had a blast. Love the house made chorizo sausage! read more

My boyfriend and I went here on a trip to the wineries on Seneca lake. I found this place on yelp and thought we'd give it a try. It exceeded our expectations! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Steve who asked if we had ever been there and where we were from. He explained the whole menu, have us recommendations and asked that we let him know if we needed anything. We ordered the bratwurst with American cheese, bacon cheeseburger, and bacon chili poutine. Steve mentioned that all of the food products are locally produced which we love. As we waited for our food, we sipped on a beer and laughed at all of the tshirts with wiener puns. Our food was ready in 10 minutes, and everything was absolutely delicious! The bratwurst was perfectly cooked, very little grease. The burger was also perfectly cooked and the bacon was nice and thick. Finally the poutine...you can't go wrong with bacon chili and cheese curds. We couldn't stop talking about this place all weekend and can't wait to come back! read more

We went to the Wienery after hiking Watkins Glen....i was starved and wondered if i had been wise to put off eating making the drive out of town. OMG YES! The staff was so helpful, i was so hungry i wanted to order everything. We ended up with a wonderful turkey burger, delicious fries, and of course a Wiener haha. Such a treat! We loved it. If you have the chance to swing through do stop at FLX! read more

What a great find!!!! The staff all obviously love what they do and we're helpful, fun, and passionate about the menu. I ordered the Peanut Butter Burger and Poutine (the white gravy was ridiculously good) and my son and daughter got red hots and Oreo milk shakes. Great beer selection, too! Worth the drive from anywhere in Western NY. Of course, a ROC Weinery would be awesome (hint, hint). read more

First time there this past weekend. Sausages, burgers, hots, craft beers, etc... Loved the food. Had The Kraut with Chorizo sausage and an order of fries. Place was very busy, but they kept the food moving. A wait, but worth it. Definitely will try it again when in the area. read more

A must stop if you are in the region. This place has the best beers local and imported - some that my grandfather used to get from his native Germany and many are world class rated. I would drive 2 hours to eat here. A gourmet culinary and gastro experience without the pretentiousness. The owner/chef is also a master sommelier and his wife who also works there is German (fantastic home made krauts and meat) read more

I LOVED this place! We stopped by on our way down Seneca Lake and found this gem along the way! This place had burgers, weiners, sausages and awesome varieties of fries. You could either order any of the burgers or sausages "your way" or by combinations that had already been tried and tested! I ate a K-Town Burger which was cooked perfectly with fresh cilantro, house-made kimchi, and a fried egg. It was DELICIOUS! Just the right combination of heat and flavor! My fiance ordered a chorizo sausage and spicy onion rings which were sliced and breaded while we were ordering them! They were thin and fried until crunchy, yumm-o! The place had a fun sense of humor with shirts on the wall, bottled sodas, beers, and wine. If it were warmer when were were there (mid-March not so much) we would have taken advantage of the picnic tables outside for a great view with our food! Overall, if you are looking for a place with good service, great food, and a fun atmosphere, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! read more

See all

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the food, atmosphere, or drinks. We stopped here during our trip to the finger lakes...and I just wished we lived closer (maybe that's a negative.) the peanut butter Burger, cheese curds, and spicy onion rings are ridiculously good. It tasted so good, I couldn't even feel guilty for eating unhealthy. We got the Oreo stout for dessert...amazing. No regrets. Best stop in FLX. read more

Just the best! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Awesome pick and pull wine fridge too!

Welcoming and fantastic with a beautiful view. Portions are huge but flavors are well balanced. Well worth the extra drive!

We stopped while on a wine tour with friends. Had a great lunch--sausages and salads all first rate and the sodas were delish. Can't wait to go back now that they they can serve local wine, too. read more

Truly disapointed. Drove an hour out of our way and the place was closed. Middle of the week in the middle of summer. I don't think they take themselves very seriously. read more

What a great spot. Wish I had more time, and more elastic in my pants, to try everything on the menu. I hope to make it back up from NYC soon to do just that. read more

This is definitely a hidden gem! It was the perfect stop between wineries and had a great selection and friendly staff. I had the bratwurst with cheese curds and sautéed onions and my husband had the peanut butter burger while we split the bistro fries. So delicious!! Just the right amount of food and great flavor. It was quickly prepared to order and not greasy at all. read more

The food is great, and the service is friendly and efficient. There was a crowd here on a recent Saturday afternoon, and still our food reached us right way. I had the Local Burger and my companion had the Peanut Bacon Burger. Both were distinctive but neither was weird. The burgers were done exactly as we ordered. We're eager to visit again, and try the poutine. read more

Awesome fresh food, hip vibe, and helpful staff! It's obvious they take pride in what they do and have a great time doing it!

If heaven were made of hand crafted Italian sausage, amazing chicken burgers and a plethora of unique and mouthwatering sides, FLX Wienery would be the flagship! Amazing food, incredibly knowledgeable staff and a Master Sommelier to boot! Hands down a must visit in Finger Lakes! read more

We ordered american style and local style beef burgers. And those r the best burgers I have for years. We would have ordered the second one if the line had been shorter(they were really busy in lunch time!) read more

When I die I want to be buried here. Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this place. House made sausage, bacon, burgers, all paired with beer or wine by a master sommelier... yes, a licensed honest to goodness master sommelier. I will be back here again. read more

My husband and I have been before and we are always pleased. We typically order the same thing each time consisting of hot dogs, fries and spicy onion rings. This this time we ordered the peanut butter burger, the local burger, a red hot dog with Carmelized onion and white gravy, onion rings, fries and a salted milkshake. We split everything! It was all absolutely terrific! The staff was very friendly too. Know in advance that you will wait a bit for food, but it is well worth it! read more
