I started with the recommended French onion soup. It was really good. My wife had the special pork shank which she said was quite good. I had the crab cakes, which were also really good. When the bill came it was about what I expected. This was a terrific "find" for an early January Friday evening.

There is no waitress to take your order even though there were 3 people standing at the counter where you have to go up and place your order. We were extremely surprised to see there was not one burger or dinner salad on their menu. I realize you are a BBQ and Woodfired pizza restaurant but geez. Couldn't you at least have a burger or dinner salad as well? Our order was placed : - 1 "wood fired pizza" with 3 toppings. -2 a dozen wings with mild Buffalo sauce -3 a kids Mac & cheese with 1 side (FF) - pulled pork plate with tater tots & coleslaw (Wanted to order rib plate but they were already out of ribs on a Saturday of a 3 day holiday weekend.) - unsweetened iced teas $3.00 each Here's what we got: Given paper cups to go to soda machine where there was no unsweetened iced tea...only raspberry iced tea and many sugary sodas. Why didn't you say we don't have unsweetened iced tea when we ordered?? Our food comes out but no silverware or plates. Ask and we're told oh there's plastic silverware in the dispensers....really plastic silverware? And when I asked for plates, because the pizza was just on the pizza pan, she seemed like it was a big deal and brought us saucer sized plates. Must be they don't want to do dishes! Pizza was definitely NOT cooked in a woodfired oven.... Soft doughey crust not the crispy crust you get on woodfired. We know because we eat a lot of woodfired pizza. And the toppings while tasty were skimpy. Wings. We ordered mild Buffalo wings and got these very spicy dry rubbed wings with a little wing sauce on the dry rubbed wings. Not what we expected. No mention on menu that these wings would have dry rub on them before sauce. Only ate 5..too spicy with that dry rub. Pulled pork plate. Pork was just ok. Kind of dried out. Very small (maybe 1/4 cup) coleslaw was very good but we wished we had gotten more than four plastic forkfuls..tater tots with a small cornbread muffin as well. Definitely not worth $20. On a positive note.. the kids mac and cheese was good. And we liked that you can choose your sides. Hopefully things will get better as you get a few more weeks under your belt. We will give you another chance then. Hopefully you will heed the suggestions from your patrons and make a few additions/changes.
