If I could give this company 10 stars, I would! This company deserves it. I did a lot of research on u-tube and the internet coming up with a lot of questions I wanted answered before we hired a company to redo our 67-foot Orangeburg sewer line, which has an approximate life span of 50 years. Our house was built in 1957, so we've been very lucky. We decided to replace the line before there was a disaster. We decided to get a couple of bids. Flush King was our second bid (which, when they give you a bid...it is a final quote! There is no up-selling!) I called them on Tuesday, 3-4-25, and Shawn, their estimator/account manager was at our home on Wednesday, 3-5 (the next day). Not long after leaving, he sent a bid. Warranty: This repair comes with a 20-year warranty on parts and labor by Flush King Plumbing. A question I didn't even think to ask was in their bid: Transferrable warranty even if homeowner sells the house. This will transfer to new resident for the remainder of the warranty, from date of completion of work. WOW!!!! We had a couple of questions, and Shawn revised the bid to change the wording just a little for clarification, even though we had verbally discussed it with Shawn previously. Following is from the quote (with possible comments from me inserted) about the work they would do: Will dig trench from edge of home to street (again 67 feet!). Will install new Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Will tie PVC onto the clay with heavy duty non-shear coupling. Will support pipe with rebar and wire it to ensure proper grade on pipe and to ensure that pipe does not shift over time. (Had never heard of the rebar before!!!! Going the extra mile here!!! Tyler was the one who took care of all of the pipe, etc.) Install tracer wire for possible future locating of sewer line. Install new Bullhorn cleanouts in the front yard. Place compaction stone as first layer of compaction around pipe. Backfill and compact dirt properly. Haul away and dispose properly any debris. Will connect any other existing sewer line to main line (which we had and it needed to be done). Will get yard back to pre-loss condition as best as possible. (OK, we get flood irrigation, so that was a big issue. We had a berm built up to keep the water from getting close to the area in which we decided to have the sewer line placed. In order to dig the sewer line, they had to remove some of the berm. Their one request was to keep dry the area where the sewer line was for as long as humanly possible. They built a dirt berm that was twice the size we previously had...all the way to the street (where we didn't even have one). And they did an incredible job compacting the soil with their compacting machine.) Now...a major comment for their crew. Tyler (the project supervisor) had 5 or 6 men that dug that 67-foot line BY HAND. I've never seen dirt fly like that. These guys were incredible machines. Machines couldn't have done the fantastic job these gentlemen did! Non-stop they worked all day. And...on Thursday afternoon (3-6 - in 2 days) they were done!!!! Our neighbors couldn't believe it. Chris, the owner (who had 3 sewer line crews working on these days, came by a couple of times to check on things. Chris (owner), Shawn (estimator), Tyler (project supervisor) and their crew were absolutely the nicest and most professional individuals I've dealt with in a very long time. Wish all companies were this way. Again 10 stars! Start saving your money. This is not a cheap project. But, whatever you pay with Flush King, you get more than your money's worth! And, waiting until you have a disaster could cost you a lot more. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! A note: They do not guarantee your landscaping. So, if you have plants that you need to transplant before they come...make sure you do that ahead of time. Clear away any obstacles that might be in their way. I took pictures as they were doing the work as a permanent record of where the line was placed. This way, I could also show pictures to our friends and neighbors who might need a great company to redo their sewer line as well. Pictures tell a story. Chris answered the phone (how about that I got a real person), he said he would send someone out to my house in less than 90 minutes. It would be impossible for me to overstate how great this company was to work with. On a Friday morning a couple weeks ago, I started getting water backing up in my bathtub from the sewer out. I called Flush King and within just over an hour someone was at my house looking at it. Turned out to be close to a worst case scenario - I had a major blockage in one spot, and multiple parts of the old line from the house to the city connection were blocked/collapsed/broken. A full replacement sewer line was needed, which involved cutting up the new pool deck and digging a long trench to the property line. By Sunday morning, these guys already had the work completed, and the owner even stuck around to fix a blockage in the washing machine discharge line that turned out to be unrelated to the sewer line issue. They did quality work, completed it much faster than I expected, and did a phenomenal job with the cleanup. The logo and marketing photos are what got me to call them first. By far, Tom from Flush King gave the best possible service with a great attitude and alacrity. We had our main sewer line plug up the day before Thanksgiving. This lead to our third bedroom's tub filling up with dirty water, as well as the toilet over flowing with the same. We managed to make it through the family gathering by filling and dumping large 40 gallon trash cans as needed to keep the tub empty. When we finally got Flush King on the phone, they were able to schedule a tech within a couple hours. 10 minutes after scheduling, Tom texted saying he would be there within 20 minutes. This was during the weekend!! Tom ended up snaking the main line from the roof. All told he was gone in an hour and half. That included an extra task I asked of him, replacing an inline shutoff valve to the toilet that was way to tight against the wall for me to do right. Pricing was excellent for the main reason he came. The second task was a little pricey, but he gave me several options and I choose the costly one because I wanted it done right with good parts. I highly recommend Flush King and specifically Tom for any plumbing work. I know I will be calling him in the future when it's time to remodel the bathroom. read more

My tenant informed me toilet was rocky. I called flush king to get it taken care of. I was given a quote to replace flange or replace toilet, included in the flange. Additionally, I was given a set time frame for arrival, of which, I informed my tenant. My phone was not working well (haven't replaced due to pandemic) I asked to communicate via text/email. Tech arrived 90 minutes before the scheduled time. I had to stop my work day, contact tenant, and have her rush back to allow plumber in. I requested plumber return during scheduled time, rather than agreeing, he indicated he would wait for tenant to return. I wasn't fond of this as it's frankly strange to have a man waiting around a property. They gave me a full plumbing inspection to what amounted to $2600 worth of work. I sent it to plumbers in area I normally use but was out of town and they indicated the costs were extremely exaggerated and duplicated in some areas. Plumber then left without doing a thing because I hadn't paid and I had "not responded" although I have evidence I responded in my text to proceed with toilet replacement. I understand a deposit but they wanted full payment for flange AND toilet replacement. Upon informing them that they were charging me for both flange and toilet, and toilet replacement should include flange, they revised their quote. Still, not providing the yelp discount they ultimately provided. They replaced the toilet, didnt tell me they left loose tile. I heard from my tenant 24 hours later as she wanted to make sure I was aware. It was then that I was informed that the subflooring had water damage and I needed it fixed as new toilet would otherwise rock and break causing further dama he. Confused right? Install a toilet on floor that's not safe??? They told me the sub flooring was wet and needed full restoration. Mind you sub flooring is not their experience. I call the water restoration company who says their is no water damage. I call the flooring company, who lays tile down immediately- removes a toilet that shouldn't have been installed in the first place. Flooring company finished work within 24 hours without a single hassle. I text plumber asking to return the set toiet again. "Has flooring been installed" well obvious why would I otherwise ask them to return? Plumber returns the next day. Asks me to call him via landline- again my audio is barely working and phone disconnects after I say *fudge* Tells me the pump is broken on toilet and would cost another $349 to fix- and this is the trickiest. He LEAVES. No answer. Had I not contacted the flooring company and their gracious coverage of work that I PAID THEM FOR, they took ownership. I don't believe this was right in any way. Flush king should have fixed the pump due to the faulty install. Their technician Rich takes no accountability and blames the customer- EVERY SINGLE TIME. No sorry for the arrival outside the window no sorry for installing without telling you it was dangerous to install, no sorry for installing and leaving tile there with no communication, or sorry for disturbing tenant many times. He insisted he practiced with integrity every time, but guess what? This time this client is confused and requesting answers. Instead- I receive a final notice that says the work is no longer a two year warranty- when originally finished it was warrantied and a notice that says that THEY contacted the flooring guy. They took advantage of the flooring guy - whom not once did I have an issue with. It wasn't even the owner of flush king who was a horrible communicator- owner of fish king was great and action oriented. Wish for my funds returned due to no warranty and the endless hours the lack of coordination took from my clinic day- as I am volunteering my time to help patients right now- unpaid yet I was expected to be available on their time frames rather than the scheduled times. read more

These guys saved me not once but TWICE recently. I had a catastrophic failure of my water softener that flooded my entire house plumbing with resin beads. All of my water supply stopped working in the ENTIRE HOUSE. Every faucet and pipe was jammed up with the resin beads. PRO TIP : Make sure you got a filter before and after your water softener to prevent this issue from occurring. Long story short, they were able to diagnose and fix the issue with a team of 4+ people in the course of a 12 hour day - on the day it OCCURED. I had all my water back the same evening. This was a nightmare of a situation that was handled VERY Professionally and PROMPTLY by an extremely competent team of folks. We had a main water line break under the driveway which fortunately was fixed in about seven hours and approximately four laborers and he charge $7000 for labor completely over the top basically overcharged for Scottsdale address. I would definitely get a second opinion before using this company. Never gave us a written bid which was poorly documented. Sad that Chris would not be forthright in his response. Only had verbal bid ( no signed contract or itemized bid) as was told job may take 3 days and include a subcontractor for boring under driveway. Well yes indeed great news that the job would not require all the extra expenses as originally told only 5 laborers 7 hours of yes digging a trench. Itemized bid would include $7000.00 for 4-5 laborers 7hours on our video recording. Then during an open discussion of bill was told as a woman I don't understand the costs of running a business .....after my professional business of 32yrs employing up to 6-7 employees! Really ? Pinged a couple places for sink replacement. They got back to me right away and asked for pictures of the current setup, were able to do the quote from the pictures through text which was awesome. Offered same day service but I couldn't get the sink. They said reach out when I get it and they'll be ready. Texted at 2pm Friday to tell them I was picking it up, they were out 8am Saturday installing. Tech (Larry) was good, clean work. Some pointless confusion from what I was told in the initial quote through text and the work that was done which I seemed to be faulted for which was surprising because I was directly quoted for work that wasn't done, charged the same price as the initial quote, then charged extra for the work on that initial quote. I sent the exact message I was sent from the owner to both the owner and the tech and never got any explanation for what happened, so that was a pretty poor experience on behalf of the management which is why I'm making the edit. - I ran to the store to get the paint, it took 20 minutes during which time the new sink was being prepped. The picture sent was of the entire sink in daylight with a full view of the front and corners. Greatly appreciated Larry's attention to detail on this, I did the clear coat and caulk myself after the job was complete. - The new sink was different. The one originally sent also did not have an RO faucet or a hole for one. - I installed the RO originally and drilled the hole in the sink to install the faucet, I did not realize it was going to be such an undertaking, I should have read more. The last 3 words of the original quote sent were "and reinstall RO", that doesn't seem completely explained when the job was done and the RO was sitting on the floor. - Everything was done in the end and Larry was awesome, appreciated his time and meticulousness. I've used Flush King on several occasions now, and every single time Chris and his team have come out they've been nothing short of fantastic. They're professional, courteous, knowledgeable and actually show up when they say they're going to show up (shocking for a home service provider, but it's true). First, I had Chris come out to snake a shower drain that was backing up. He was able to not only snake the drain and fix the backup, but he also took a video of the process to help us identify an issue with an old pipe due to previous owners incorrectly fitting a new pipe to it. While it won't be cheap (or fun) to fix, I will 100% be using Flush King when the time comes for the repair. I also had them out to fix a leaky bathroom faucet and p-trap connection. Instead of charging me an absurd amount of money to replace the entire faucet, they charged me a reasonable price and fixed the broken pieces to get the faucet working as good as new. Many companies won't do that, or will try to nickel and dime you - not Flush King! Just the other day, we needed a replacement of an old dishwasher for a new one we purchased. Flush King scheduled same day and was able to replace the old unit with the new unit in an incredibly short amount of time. The plumber, Tom, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. He even pointed out a broken part in the new dishwasher and a few cosmetic issues that occurred in shipping from the big box store I purchased the unit from. Going one step forward, he even told me how to address the issue with said big box store to ensure I could get a large discount on my original purchase price and get a new part sent out. Again, this was something he didn't have to do, but goes to show the type of company Flush King is and how they're willing to go out of their way for their customers. Buyer beware. I did read other reviews before hiring them. I should have focused on the bad reviews since if you read them they are quite frightening. I hired them because they were able to get out quickly to unclog a drain but you will notice their service is almost double other companies. I asked them if the problem persist would them come out for free and they told me they would but would charge if the clog was for an unrelated incident. Three days later the same drain clogged so I asked them to come back. I told them I would meet them there but they arrived before I got there. They entered the property without the tenant's consent since the door was left unlocked. The contractor said he announced himself several times before coming inside but I have called him to tell him I was 5 minutes away and proceeded to enter the property anyway which scared my tenant who works night shift and didn't hear him until he was in the bathroom. As a landlord, having contractors entering without me is very concerning and knowing this happened when I told him I was less and 1/2 mile away is very concerning on their level of professionalism. They proceeded to do work before I authorized any work to be done and wanted to charge an additional service fee. I don't have an issue paying for good service but I do have a problem of paying for service without an estimate and for them to get started before my authorization. You should get other bids before hiring this company. I called AMEX to make sure they cannot bill me in the future. The owner claims he has a recording of our conversation explaining there will be a service charge regardless. I told him I would pay if he can produce that recorded conversation along with my consent to be recorded. I am still waiting but I will pay if he can produce this. Again, I will pay if he can produce both the consent and the recorded conversation. If you go through all my reviews over the years I have been on yelp and there are over 15 positive reviews where I a raving fan and 2 negative reviews. read more
