I've really been wanting a Japanese pancake and found this spot a while ago. It's unfortunately not worth the price. The sandwich for $16 had 2 pieces of bacon, one slice of cheese and one egg. The consistency of the pancakes were ok, they were dry to be honest and had little to no flavor. The staff was very kind and I know this is a franchise but the prices are not reflecting the quality or proportions of the product. Also I've tried the Strawberry now in both locations and the one in Duluth doesn't give an overwhelming amount of cream to where I didn't really need to scrape it off. In terms of texture & taste, the soufflé pancakes were the same, both were good! Regardless I enjoyed it here at Lavista road. They also had some cute decor and seats, which was something the one in Duluth did not have. The facilities were clean and staff were friendly. We ordered three pancake meals with eggs and bacon, and even verified the order with the cashier before paying. About 15 minutes later, only two meals arrived. So let me explain, I may go back and change my review because the signature one had no flavor. Even with the small portion of syrup they give you, like no flavor.
