Spot just opened in Newport Mall food court. Always see these on social so I wanted to try. Bough the simplest and popular pancake. It came out quick. Pretty, made for posting on Instagram. Taste was also good. Fluffy it is definitely. Not overly sweet as I was expecting. Pricey so not sustainable regular purchase. Overall they get a recommendation!

My class Newport Mall Food Lighting Theory at SVA is sold out for fall but spots are available for spring 2026.

Identifying as dessert-agnostic, I didn't initially pay attention to Fluffy Fluffy GO but they have rice bowls and sandwiches too. The pork combo was great, benefiting from accompanies like pickled onions and dashi mayo. The Thai iced tea was refreshing on its own merits and I also appreciate that it's a combo option.

What an experience! I've been wanting to try the Japanese Fluffy Pancakes for years, but found today as the perfect day! Fluffy Fluffy Go's pancakes surpassed my expectations in taste, texture, service, cute factor! I absolutely enjoyed butter colored pancake sign, cute hand-drawn signs, rubber stacks of fluffy pancakes inviting you to touch them and see the scale. This was a sumptuous indulgence appealing to all the senses. As this was my first time experiencing them, Joanne was incredibly helpful with helping me choose what to get. She greeted us with a sample of the Oreo Pancakes which had a delicious sweetness and crunch. I knew though that this would be good for another more dessert-focused meal. I was looking for eggy, fluffy, and not overly sweet. I found that in the signature pancakes! The cream has light sugar, but most of the sweetness came from the generous topping of fresh fruit. We actually were offered an added topping of the fruit which wasn't needed, but appreciated. I ordered the iced Fluffy Fluffy latte, that could also be made without sugar and all the fluff. It was a perfect pairing. My friend order the tiramisu as our second option. This was certainly more decadent with a mixture of mascarpone and cream cheese. The bitter chocolate was a perfect balance to the sweetness of the cream. My friend ordered the hot Spanish latte richly coated with sweetened condensed milk. On first bite, we both said "wow!" I've had few meals that inspire such an immediate, impulsive reaction. I honestly would recommend everything we had and hope to do this again soon. If you are someone who likes a lot of topping, I'd recommend getting an extra side of cream. The bottom pancake does not have a coating, but you can simply add the extra cream between the stack so that every piece of pancake is covered in the cream. There is also an extensive savory menu. You can get Katsu sandwiches, rice bowls, or onigiri. They also had crispy tofu options, so there's something for everyone. The drink options certainly are a nice contribution to what's available at Newport Mall. I really wish Fluffy Fluffy Go lots of success!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I gave this mall spot a try because I love Japanese souffle pancakes and katsu sandos. Did not disappoint! The cakes were airy, and the sauce (original) was just the right amount of sweetness; would probably try the blueberry cheese one next. Katsu was crispy and tasty, but perhaps slightly overfried (or maybe the oil needed a refresh). Will definitely come back!

I'm so happy to have a soufflé pancake spot in JC! This place was bit overpriced for a mall food court dining option, but everything I had was delicious. Quick service. Hope they stay in business. Looking forward to returning soon!

Fluffy Pancake with berries and banana ! Really delicious' didn't need extra syrup at all. Just perfect as is!

Went for their grand opening! Love how cute the station is and how friendly everyone was. Gave the best recommendations on which pancake and drink to try! I always wanted to try Fluffy Japanese pancakes and these did not disappoint at all. Not- too sweet and I love that!

Delicious and super fluffy pancake. Not overly sweet which is perfect. Fast service. Will definitely go back! They also serve sandwiches and rice bowls which we didn't try this time. This location is night and day vs the location in Edison which is a nightmare.

Staff was so nice and the Dubai pancake was delectable! Didn't taste eggy and super fluffy/bouncy. Can't wait to try to other flavors!

Chicken Cutlet - Rice Combo Oreo Pancake

Got the chicken cutlet bowl and Oreo fluffy pancake stack, this was my first time trying this place and it was honestly amazing and the cashier she was lovely and provided great service, the ambiance wasn't too noisy. this is going to be my new go-to spot everytime I stop at Newport.

    Counter area

I've been hooked on fluffly pancakes for a few years and when I moved to Jersey I simply couldn't find them. I'm super happy about this being in Jersey, however I wish they picked a different location because parking isn't free. So can't really make this a weekly family desert spot.

The corned beef hash is made in house and is meat as it should be. Tasty and tender and fresh. Today though I had my first disappointing dish - the oven baked Dutch baby that comes with the lemon butter sauce. We poured the sauce over expecting lemon butter. But upon tasting it, we realized it wasn't lemon juice. Or fresh lemon flavor. It tasted like liquified lemon curd - like a melted down center of a bad diner lemon meringue pie. You know that flavor. It was spot on that. And so it was cloying fake and sweet mixed with butter and overall kinda gross. I can't recommend that one. On the other hand, we took a German apple Dutch baby to go and that one was amazing. And in fairness we had the garden veggie one once before and it too is a winner. Skip the lemon sauce.

My son really enjoyed his chicken sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with whole fried potatoes and a short snack of chocolate chip pancakes. I enjoyed my baby of course along with it. I ordered the huevos rancheros that were labeled that spicy, but it was not spicy at all. it really needed more beans and the dish overall was just lacking flavor. It was more refreshing than savory or warm. We both got fresh juices. Both were delicious and the service was great attentive welcoming, and we were seated within half an hour of waiting in line after 10:30 AM on a Saturday. We may have been seated earlier, but I don't recall exactly when we started waiting in line. If you are a party bigger than two they have a separate line which may be a longer wait but it's more of a waitlist line. Whereas the other line is you waiting in line when you get seated as tables become available for parties of one or two people. Ambience is pretty laid-back and relaxed. There is parking at the main level of this plaza but also there is a parking garage below with more parking spots available.

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

The filling was really good- seemed like a mix of meat substitute and mushrooms. Also tried the vegan crispy chicken burger- portion was huge. Very nice sesame bun and "chicken" patty was thick and hearty. For dessert, got the strawberry cheesecake which was so-so for me. The texture was ok but the taste was not cheesecake-y enough for me. But it was still good overall. The slice was HUGE! Definitely for sharing. Also got the vegan gluten-free choc chip cookie which I really liked- crispy edges and chewy center, not too sweet. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka.
