The steak bourbon crepe was delicious! They have so many good flavors to choose from it was hard to decide! We got one savory and one sweet to split in half each. The steak bourbon was flavorful and definitely a good sized portion! I could have likely eaten the whole thing alone. But then we ate the nutella crepe for dessert--thinner than the steak bourbon but still good. (I could have done with a bit more filling) We left very satisfied and would definitely come again. It's not for large groups. It's a very small place. Comfortably 8 people could fit there to eat at three same time. If need be you could seat a few more. If you're not into close quarters, it might be best to get your food to go. Something is going on with them and their credit processor so they have a sign letting you know they don't take credit cards. My friend and I were craving crepes like no other at 10pm, and we were so excited to find Crepe Guru open late. After a half hour drive (we were reallyyyy desperate for crepes), we snagged a lucky parking spot (street parking only and it gets packed) and made a beeline for Crepe Guru. It was super busy even close to midnight. Service was really friendly, and I loved that they accepted venmo for contactless payments. Staff were all wearing masks, and there was inside and outside seating (with nice heat lamps to temper the chill). My friend and I both built our own crepes with nutella, strawberries and bananas, and whipped cream and ice cream. They have a ton of options between sweet and savory, but we were really jonesing for the sweet crepes. I thought it was a great option to allow customers to choose between fresh fruits, different toppings, and different drizzles on top. Unfortunately the crepes themselves didn't quite live up to our expectations. The crepes were thick and rather tough, nothing like the thin, elastic, tender crepes we were expecting. The fruit inside was good, but I thought there was wayyyy too much nutella and chocolate drizzle on the outside. The sauce really overwhelmed everything and while it could have helped with the dry crepe, the whole thing ended up being sickly sweet. They have all sorts of savory and sweet ones. We were in the mood for savory so we went with the bourbon chicken crepe and donald crepe. First off, it is not the best bbq sauce on the bourbon chicken. It lacked flavor and tasted almost watered down. The crepe was done right and had the right texture. The Donald was better and I would definitely reorder. The positive news is they have quick delivery. The prices are reasonable as well. The crepe is more filling than it looks. Love love love this place! I originally came here with some friends for a late night dessert on a weeknight and because yelp gave me and a guest 50% off. The place is super cozy with fun decorations all around. They have a great variety of food options on their menu.. Me and my friends got the nutella and the tiramisu crepe which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and both were delicious! The second time I came back I tried the nutella batter crepe and it was even more amazing! Clearly I love hazelnut hahah. One thing we did notice was the first time we came here, only one girl was working and it got extremely busy, we felt really bad because she had to prepare the food and deal with the register alone, (cash only or venmo) we had to wait to pay which it was fine because we knew she was alone and we don't blame her but we felt she should've had help. The second time around there was three people working so it was much better and smoother. Parking in that area might be a little longer than expected but both times we found parking within 5 minutes and not far either but again both times it was during the week. It comes with vanilla icecream and whipped cream on the side too. I know it sounds like a free heart attack but IT WAS WORTH EVERY CALORIE. IT WAS SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS. And HUGE. These guys have redefined crepes, they have an entire menu designed with crepes as the star with options including both SAVORY and dessert ones. Recently visited them with a group of friends, the food was flavorful and fabulous. The service was warm and friendly, the menu is pretty simple, quiet vegetarian friendly and they have even star marked the best sellers on the menu. The ambience was hip - they have cool interiors with nice cozy seating area, an open crepe making station and some outdoor seating to soak up the sun. On a side note, found the place a tad expensive but it was definitely worth it. FYI, while walking to the restaurant, noticed that the sign for the restaurant was pretty small. Keep an eye for it as it is easy to miss. Also, keep note that they don't accept cards. Its cash/venmo only. We tried the Veggie Supreme and the Nutella Batter dessert crepe. It was my first time trying a savory crepe. The Veggie supreme was flavorful and very filling, an ideal sandwich to have on the go for lunch/dinner. I wish I ordered some hot sauce with the veggie supreme, as I tend to prefer my sandwiches slightly spicy. The best part of the meal was the Nutella Batter dessert crepe. The crepe batter itself had nutella in it, along with that the topping of strawberries and nutella with whipped cream & ice cream on the side was a perfect dessert. If you like chocolate, this would be THE crepe for you. I wouldn't ask them to change it ever, it was just fab. We liked these so much that we even took a couple of the dessert crepes to go, but would recommend to have them at the restaurant as the experience was slightly so. Made a run here tonight after rallying my sister for some dessert after dinner. So glad we did! I had a yelp offer for 50% off a crepe so you know I had to try it! Location is a little eerie if going super late at night (they're open until 11p). Crepe was fantastic! My little sister is allergic to something in the common prep gloves, so when we told them they were happy to accommodate and found liner gloves to use instead. We originally were going to get the tiramisu crepe, but after scrolling yelp I found out it was legit a full cake slice wrapped in a crepe lol. A little too much for me. Instead we decided to get the simply Nutella crepe ($6) and top it with strawberries ($3) and bananas ($1.50). $3 for strawberries is pretty expensive in my opinion, but they def don't skimp. I ordered the New York Cheesecake crepe and I tasted the strawberry, chocolate drizzle, cheesecake, and graham cracker crust in each bite. It was so delicious and definitely worth the price. In addition, the one worker there was really nice although he was alone. He had so many orders to cook by himself and it was obvious he was overwhelmed. Still, he kept his cool and didn't snap at new customers who came in. He was welcoming and reassured everyone that their orders would be made as fast as he could, and he wasn't wrong about that!
