View from above, GDG, Chicken Parm, lavender latte, chipotle mayo

Service: The guy at the counter was really nice and answered our questions on what's popular, his favorite and how he likes to eat it (dip chicken parm with chipotle mayo). He was nice to give us the sauce on the side to try it out. You order at the counter, then you sit down where you would like and they will bring the food to you when ready. They also bring you water. Food: We ordered the GDG and Chicken Parm sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised as the sandwiches we got were actually quite big (good amount of filling and good height of sandwich). The chicken Parm had 2 layers of chicken. The chicken cutlets were crispy even with the sauce. I think providing a side of marinara sauce on the side would make it much better for the customer to dip any dry parts on the outside. The GDG had double layers of sausage and egg. The hashbrown in the sandwich was still crispy and the roll was nice and soft. The sandwiches are definitely filling. We also ordered a lavender latte. If you don't like the lavender leaves sprinkled on top, then you don't have to worry because they don't include that in the drink. The latte was pretty much an ice coffee with lavender flavor as an aftertaste/hint at the end. Not super strong. Ambience: We came on a Sunday an hour before they were about to close. Place is small but quiet when we went as it was the middle of the day between lunch and dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would come again to try their other menu items. Definitely better and cheaper than Gussy's cafe!

Can only comment on the food via delivery but it's been great every time. We've ordered several times and they've always made the food correctly and it has always been super yummy. They also have a very tasty iced latte.

I love our new neighborhood cafe Eggs Up! It's been a wonderful addition to the area with great food that is delicious and fast; service that is always so nice and a lovely decor...a wonderful place to stop in, especially to & from the light rail!

I accidentally stumbled upon this place. I was heading to brunch in Hoboken, but the Jersey City marathon (trying to copy NYC much?), blocked all public transportation. So, with plans canceled and hunger creeping in, I walked into Eggs Up...expecting a bodega kinda fare. Eggs Up is not a bodega or convenience store, it is a diner, without the grease and stickiness of a diner. The interior is luminous and calming. You may also bring your laptop. Pets are allowed in, in case you must pick up an order. I ordered the cheese bacon burger with French fries and match latte. The French fries were very good. Not mushy. Crispyness properly seasoned with salt. The burger comes with American cheese. I'm not a fan of American cheese, but the bacon and the tomatoes made up for it. Solid patty too; although I ordered well done, it was still juicy and not dry like a shoe sole. The matcha latte was not sweet. Just pleasant...no bitterness no overly sweet. I love that you have all of the condiments you need right at the table. I am a sucker for hot sauce and it was there by me; I didn't have to ask for it. You have the choice between the spicy mustard and the honey mustard. Just ask for it. Solid place if you live near by (i don't...it was an accident). I will be back for breakfast to fuel up my long commutes.

The employee/ Service was friendly and accommodating. I was hoping for a better experience foods wise. Unfortunately, the food was overly cooked. Eggs were supposed to be over easy but was not. Bacon had rubber texture. Apples were hard. Looks good upfront but the taste wasn't quite there. Also, a lot of lantern flies in front of the shop which was disturbing.

If you been rocking since 1919, mi amor, I **have** to come see what's going on. That alone made me wanna pull up And let me tell you... I walked from Jersey City Heights down to downtown -- not a bad walk at all, un chin de cardio before breakfast . Real "treat yourself, mi amor" type of morning. Soon as I walked in... BABYYYY I felt like I got teleported straight into a little Italian market Shelves full of Italian goodies -- pastas, oils, snacks... I was like *yo quiero todo esto* It was giving *ciao bella, benvenuti, mangia mangia* vibes all day. The staff? Súper nice. No attitude, no rush -- just good energy. I told them it was my first time and asked what they're known for, and they really put me on No gatekeeping over here. My husband got the #7 (on a roll) I got the #8 (on a bagel) We sat outside and did what married people do... switched sandwiches halfway Now listen... mine was good -- turkey, egg, pesto... she was cute, she had flavor, estaba bien ‍ BUT HIS?! Ese sándwich estaba otro nivel. I don't know if it was the roasted peppers or what but *Dios mío*... delicioso, chef's kiss Only thing? Next time I'm switching my bagel for a roll porque ese pan estaba hitting different. The roll? Soft, fresh, perfecto. Also... let me tell you about the BACK They got frozen pastas, little Napoli-style dishes, a whole meat section that looked crazy fresh, and you can order cold sandwiches too. Esto no es solo un deli -- it's a whole Italian experience, okurrr. And yes... it's a *little* pricey, no te voy a mentir. Pero honestly? You get what you pay for. Calidad, sabor, vibes -- todo está ahí. I skipped the coffee porque estoy tratando de behave con el budget but next time? And I'm coming back for that banana pudding porque I'm obsessed no shame. They got a little patio if you wanna sit, or you can take your food to the park and have a whole picnic moment. Real main character energy. Ponte linda, grab your sandwich, and just vibe out. Overall? 5 stars Good food, good vibes, buena gente. CARGIANO'S said "treat yourself" y yo dije... say less

We ordered a #22 and #25 - both were delicious. The grilled chicken and eggplant was very special, never had anything like it, slightly sweet with the peppers. Turkey on the other one was cut thinly and very fresh. Bread was outstanding, we'll be back next time we're in the area.

I was re-living my 90s video game memories by playing classics on the Super Nintendo emulator. Lot of classics, but super shout out to Donkey Kong Country 2, that I easily remembered after years. I was quite busy playing the video games that the food was secondary. However, I didn't hate a single bite of it. That's a good sign. Love reminiscing over childhood nostalgia playing video games!

I ordered a few 3 ft subs which were perfect for our large group. 3 Ft speciality subs are $80 and for an extra $10 they will cut the sub. They also charge a delivery fee of $25. They delivered right on time which was much appreciated. Everyone loved the sandwiches - we ordered a fully loaded Italian sub and a chicken cutlet sub. Overall this was a solid pick and I'm happy I placed a catering order here.

They have a huge variety of sandwiches on the menu, from classic combos to more creative, loaded options, so there's something for everyone. We ordered the chicken Caesar, the Hell Raiser, and the Jimmy Z, and each one brought something different to the table. The chicken cutlets were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. You can taste how incredibly fresh the mozzarella was which really stood out, and the bread was soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. What really impressed me was how generous the portions were. These sandwiches are packed! Super filling and worth the price (14$). You can tell they don't cut corners with quality or quantity. Only downside is parking can be a bit of a struggle in the area, so plan ahead. But once you take that first bite, you won't even care.

Relics from yesteryear that my own kids wouldn't even have a clue about. The only reason I know about this salumeria? They (still) fax their daily specials to our office and it always looks pretty darn enticing. Two visits spaced a few years apart and... it's a decent deli, but for such a massive space it sure feels like they don't have enough. On my most recent visit I'd asked for hot sausage and they seemed almost confused and pushed soppressata instead. (Maybe that's my fault that I'm coming too early before they have a chance to fill up the cases?) There's a big "Tavola Calda" for the hot (prepared) meals/specials (that they hype up via their daily faxes). People behind the counter are friendly. Parking lot in the back. Decent pricing. In the center there's plenty of tables (I'm not sure if it's technically a 'restaurant' as well?). On my initial visit the lot across the street was completely empty/barren/abandoned.
