Yuki Bakery 720 Monroe St. Hoboken, NJ 07030 Spinach Ricotta Focaccia The focaccia was warm and thick; its size was idéntica to a Sicilian slice. The only downside was the bread is topped with olives. Once I removed them, I devoured this square to the last bite!

First time here & it won't be the last! I came in initially just for a caffeinated beverage and a snack, leftover with a little more! I had the iced cappuccino which was smooth and deliciously strong. I had the spinach and cheese Turkish borek - my goodness it was so delicious! They warmed it up for me and I couldn't stop eating it! My son had the spearmint lemonade and loved it. I took a sip of it and agreed. It was not too sweet or sour but a nice subtle mint lemonade - so delicious for a hot day! I also picked up the pita bread which felt so soft and looked so delicious! I had it the next morning for breakfast and it was just so tasty and fresh. The service was great, the woman at the counter was friendly and helped me pick out a great snack, I will come back and try her favorite next time. The ambience was chill, a few bar like seats along the windows and some table to sit outside too. There's only street parking so be prepared to look around, but it's worth it!

This place had good pastries and coffee! If you can get a seat enjoy some conversation staring at the street. Lots of people watching. Recommend it.

Cute coffee shop to sit outside of, but I usually look for cute and cozy vibes indoors so that was lacking for me here. It has a lot of great bakery bread options too but if you're more the cookie, cupcake, muffin type like me, you might not find what you're looking for. They also don't have flavor syrups for lattes. Not a bad option, just not my favorite shop I've been to around Hoboken.

Pastries on pastries! The tradition donut was jelly filled, just a smudge short of jelly, and the spinach pastry wasn't warmed quite enough. The latte was foamed slightly under enough. Just a little bit of things off of perfection but we still really enjoyed our food and drinks here!

Located close to the 9th st light rail station, this is an Israeli cafe place which is hardly 2 blocks away. The cafe seems to be bustling in the morning with a huge footfall of customers whereas the staff are pretty efficient to keep up with the waiting line. The staff I must say are one of the friendliest ones I have come across here, be it with greeting their customer along with properly delivering the order with good etiquettes. Whereas the vibe of the place is pretty vibrant! I ordered Mocha and pistachio croissants and both were good. The Mocha though wasn't hot as expected but it had a great chocolate flavor to it. The pistachio croissant is something I tried for the first time, it was a bit sweeter than expected but was a pretty interesting one! The flavor of the pistachio was delicious too. I'll be happy to come here often and try out more of their products as they seem to be served pretty fresh!

Wow! I live right around the corner. I never knew this was here until I was google searching a bakery to find a a treat for a friend. The only babka left was a cinnamon streusel. I took it to Kansas City and my friend loved it! So I went back today to get the same one for me and my hubs for B day dessert. It was so delicious. Not too sweet. I will definitely be back to try the carrot cake (my hubbys favorite) and the cookies. This will be my go to place if I need to bring something to dinner! Thank you! PS. They didn't have change the last 2 times I went-they preferred credit card.

Wow checked this out for the first time today. The mushroom gruyere quiche was outstanding. The cappuccino was perfectly smooth. The rugelach was so tasty and moist, and the sesame challah wowww. So excited to have this place nearby!

First time coming here and definitely won't be my last. Probably the best bakery in Hoboken! Can't wait to try more everything looked soooo good!!

I recently moved nearby the Monroe Center and have been excited to try Yuki's bakery. I stopped by Sunday morning to pick up some baked goods for a friend's birthday. I decided on the triple chocolate babka ($18) and a pack of 5 chocolate rugelach ($10) for my friend. I also purchased a croissant bread pudding slice ($5.25) to bring home for my boyfriend. The inside of the bakery is bright and clean. They have a small table inside with a couple seats but there is no other seating indoor/outdoor, at least at the time I went. I didn't purchase any coffee since I was in a hurry. The lady who checked me out was a little curt. My bf said the bread pudding slice was yummy - he heated it up a little bit before eating. I tried one of the rugelach and it was okay. My friend thought the babka was good but a little too dry (consistent with other reviews on here). I do feel the prices are a little high. The babka at Breads Bakery is delicious and their loaves are a couple bucks cheaper. Their website menu also has the wrong prices. Not sure when the last time was that they updated their website buy online it says croissants are $3.50 but a plain one in the store is $4. The croissant bread pudding says 3.50 online and I paid $5.25. The Babka and rugelach pack were each $2 more in the store than their website menu says. They should really update their online menu with the current pricing or remove pricing all together.

The ladies working here were so kind and gracious about it, explaining how to order the cinnamon donuts in advance and they freeze well if you order a large quantity, so I purchased an apple cinnamon caramel scone instead. I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.

I'm not gluten free but love any and all sweets. And I have so many GF people in my life. We were all patiently awaiting their grand opening and let me tell you: it was worth the wait. I stopped in shortly before they closed to pick up a box of cookies to bring to said gluten free friends. I got a mix of the sugar cookies, chocolate chip and sea salt caramels. All are incredible and none give the slightest hint that they are made to be GF. Crazy moist (Oy, sorry if you hate that word, but they were MOIST), soft and flavorful. The sugar cookie stole the show for me but I don't think you'll find a cookie you don't like. They had so many lots of vegan options as well if that's something you're on the hunt for. I can't wait to stop in again and try more of their cakes and sweet treats. Happy to have you in Mile Square!

I got the original cinnamon roll and the April special, which was carrot cake. Also got a strawberry shortcake matcha. The rolls are big! Worth the price and wait in my opinion. They were very good, do not get me wrong. And if I lived in the area, I probably would come here quite often. However, they don't hold up well as leftovers so I would only buy what you're able to eat that day as it loses a lot once it's no longer fresh. The coffee was honestly nothing to write home about which surprised me since it looked better, maybe I got a bad batch. The store itself was cute inside, liked the little play area for kids. Again if I lived in the area, this would probably be a good spot to get work done. Maybe it's for the best that I live far... as I'd probably be getting cinnamon rolls far more often than I should be.

There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. Place is a hole in the wall to the point that I walked right past it. Lone server inside was very friendly. Definitely a 'get your shit and go' kind of place, but what do you expect with Hoboken real estate. Got a red eye over ice, which was slightly burnt but still good. For food I tried the La Rustica sandwich, which has proscuitto, stracchino cheese and truffle cream on homemade bread. The bread was great and I could've had just that. Decent amount of proscuitto however the price ($16) justified that. Cheese didn't do much for the sandwich, as it was outmuscled by the proscuitto and just added a touch of cream. Truffle was similarly lost. All in all could do better, could do worse. Donut bites, on the other hand, were freaking money. Got 3 of the ones with custard and should've gotten a dozen. That made the place itself. Lots of other interesting things here worth trying. Wish I could a sandwich with mozzarella as there were plenty of others that looked good too. Definitely would give this another shot, as there's some good stuff here!
