Lovely spot with great decoration, amazing coffee and beautiful desert. The barista was super friendly and made me the best honey lavander coffee. Will definitely be back!

Brownie Rush

My friends and I were craving a late night dessert and stumbled upon this place. They have amazing selection of crepes, pancake, waffles as well as make your own options. We decided to go with the options on the menu and ordered the Dubai crepe and Brownie rush pancake. Both the desserts were amazing! The Dubai crepe was loaded with pistachios & chocolate. The Knafeh gave an amazing crunch to the crepe. The vanilla ice paired perfectly well. Brownie rush mini pancake was great as well. They were loaded with small brownie bite, Nutella and fresh strawberries. The place is small with limited seating but the service is quick!

Lavender Matcha ( ICED )

My co-worker and I were driving around and I wanted something sweet. She recommended this place because of the Dubai chocolate. This place DID NOT disappoint! A bit on the pricey side but that's to be expected. Location, it's in style and it's fresh ingredients. She ordered a crepe with a strawberry matcha coffee and I got the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Both were 10/10 and their service is fast and friendly. There's not too much parking in the area but it's within walking distance from jsq bus station. The place is cute and cozy and absolutely adorable. It's def a nice spot to take cute instagram or Snapchat photos. If you have a sweet tooth and want to try their items please go on it. You won't regret it

Bacon, eggs, and cheese. Cornetto. MUFFIN CACAO. Pistachio lover Shake

Pistachio Lovers Shake!! Got to try this if you love pistachio cream. They went with the slightly salty more natural version which made this shake! This was topped with beautiful shelled pistachios on whipped cream. The bacon, egg, and cheese was classic with just the right amount of cheese. I ordered this on brioche which was soft and buttery. Next time I may go with a harder roll to add a crunchy element to this richness. The cornetto was great the next day! It was reminiscent of a jelly donut and more substantial than a croissant. The cocoa muffin was topped with chunky chocolate nibs and had a surprising hazelnut cream in the center. I was surprised at the amount of options in the menu and appreciate the attention to detail in presentation and service.

This is strawberry Dubai chocolate Dubai Strawberry Cup. It tasted very delicious you can taste everything in a bite.

Whealth Kitchen - Chocolate chip Cookies Daily special - chicken stew over rice

I stopped by Whealth Kitchen for lunch, and what a fantastic find. I really love their mission of…read moreusing local foods - everything tasted incredibly fresh and high-quality. I went with the daily special, a chicken stew served over rice, which was the definition of comfort food. It was warm, flavorful, and hit the spot perfectly on a cold, snowy afternoon. I also couldn't resist grabbing a chocolate chip cookie, which was equally delicious. Even though the location is a little bit out of the way for me, the quality of the meal makes it worth the trip. I would definitely eat here again anytime I'm in the area and looking for a fresh, wholesome meal.

I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich ($14) - it was surprisingly big with a generous amount of tasty shredded chicken with currants and seasoning mixed in along with a couple large veggie leaves on a brioche bun: simple yet fresh and tasty. I think was a good value for the price considering the amount of chicken. The only thing that would really elevate this to a full 5 stars would be to add a little something on the side to complement the sandwich. The cafe has a really nice chill vibe with a decent amount of seating. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and helpful - they really make you feel the local hospitality. Overall, I am very tempted to give Whealth Kitchen 5 stars for the tasty and fresh food plus friendly service. If they had just added a bit more to the sandwich / on the side to make it truly exceptional, it would've gotten there. Nevertheless, it is a solid 4.5 stars in my book and a great option for a tasty and healthy yet quick/casual breakfast/lunch.

Food Story Natural Market - Sale items at end caps

Food Story Natural Market

After finding out about this market on Instagram, I decided to swing by during the Journal Square…read morefestival. I can confidently say in terms of selection, this market is a winner. Food Story is your typical Korean market. - if you have been to H-Mart, Mitsuwa, or Ranch99 it's the same style and layout with many authentic Asian groceries sourced from overseas and a food court for fresh Korean and Japanese dishes like ready-to-eat Korean fried chicken, poke bowls, and sushi. To my surprise, they have a wide selection of Japanese foods, more so than HMarts. And they have Korean-style thin-cut frozen meats in a fridge near the rice section - but they don't have a butcher section, so temper your expectations. Although most of the groceries here are relatively expensive, their prices are mostly on par with regular prices at many Asian markets. But, other markets offer far better weekly sales - Food Story doesn't have a circular or website, so it seems they dont offer sales. I did however find some special discounted prices for random items throughout the aisles. One downside that stood up is that many of the price labels were misorganized and placed under the wrong items. So, take care to match the UPC or you may have a bad experience with the cashier at checkout (something that I saw some other reviewers complain about). Overall, Food Story is a solid addition to the neighborhood - a convenient, albeit pricey, option for Aisan good lovers.
