I come here once a week and I love it. I put my headphones on and watch my show while I eat yummy pho :)

I've been a loyal customer from Newark Ave days, then on Erie and now here. Glad they were able to reopen after closing. New spot is better when it comes to parking but much less eating area. You may want to visit during weekdays. Im sure they get busy weekends. Our first try, where were closed for Chinese New year. Oh well. Next time, weekday lunch so we got seated quickly. Got the beef pho and the curry noodles, with spring rolls. Spring rolls were HOT! So be careful with that first bite. The pho and curry noodles were slamming! So good we recently went back and ordered the same 3 items. New spot is cleaner and brighter. Service is the same as other spots, friendly. But make sure to visit them again and again and again. Recommended!

Items we ordered $6 viet coffee $5 lemonade $13 fried squid w/ garlic sauce $14 navel beef pho $15 porkchop over rice Not sure if this business is related to the nha trang in chinatown but the soup broth taste is similar. The dishes are smaller in portion compared to those in Chinatown. There is a big price jump ($14 to $18) if you choose the pho bowl with all the beef fixings like tendons. They have a $25 pho here with beef ribs. The flavors are good but smaller portions for the prices. The squid dish had 13 pieces for $13. I would go to chinatown for lower pricing but bigger bowls if I'm craving pho. Don't come expecting big portions.

Grilled Chicken Rice Vermicelli Bowl

I love Nha Trang and this is definitely a neighborhood gem. Even though they just opened up, they have a great community and reputation from their previous location in Jersey City. It's evident by the consistently packed resturant. I've come here many times during the day and it has never been empty once! Nha Trang is a great place for a casual bite to eat. They are also located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking, which can be hard to come by in Jersey City. For my meal, I got the Grilled Chicken w/ Rice Vermicelli bowl. Each component was so yummy! The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of the spices. The veggies were so fresh and the pickles were great at balancing out the flavor. The vermicelli was cooked perfectly and the fish sauce paired great as well. Overall, a very refreshing dish! They also serve free hot tea instead of water, and this was welcome after walking to get here on a rainy day. Overall, this was a great, homey experience and I can't wait to visit again soon!

Delicious and succulent pork chops with fried rice

Welcome back Andy!!! Jersey City missed you and your delicious food. Yes Andy used to own a Vietnamese place on 10th and Erie st. Downtown JC. But left 2 years ago. And the wait is over. I'm so happy to have his food and wonderful personality back in Jersey city. Not only is the food delicious he's such a great man. And the staff is just as amazing. Ok that was my little intro to this spot. Located in the Old Colony lot of JC. Right off of Grand street or Montgomery st. Depending what street you're on. Nah Trang is a very clean and lovely place to sit and dine plenty of tables and chairs. Light music playing in the background and TVs always playing either a game or something. When the food came out it transformed me back to when I used to eat at his old restaurant. The same great taste. I ordered my favorite pork chops with fried rice. The pork chops were so tender and succulent. His plate are very generous. Comes with a little piece of lettuce. Tomato's. And cucumber. Cheech cooking tip. I usually make a little lettuce wrap to start the dinner then cut up the pork chop and mix it in with the rice and add a little sriracha and hot oil from the table to add a little heat. It's so good u don't want to stop eating it. Will definitely be a frequent diner here. They do pick up as well if u want just call it in. No delivery. But they use Uber Eats. U can find this place on uber eats for delivery.

Wonderful and delicious dinner at Nha Trang Vietnamese Cuisine. It was so cold today, we couldn't wait to check out this place after a long work day. I had Vegetable Phơ. It was packed with a lot of vegetables and tofu. The quantity and quality was perfect. It was delicious, I forgot to add in the basil, beansprouts, and lime they usually always provide at Vietnamese restaurants. I was too busy slurping up my noodles Tofu Summer roll was fresh and delicious too. The first time in awhile close to the end of it, it was a scallion stem attached. The Tofu had a good amount and packed within the wrap with the vermicelli noodles. Peanut sauce wasn't too strong, it was a good dip with my appetizer. Thai ice tea tasted good and was reasonably priced. As a table, we chose to have three Thai ice teas. Nha Trang's staff was attentive, helpful, friendly, and always checked in on all their customers. All payments accepted. Parking is shared with other stores in the shopping center. We will be back next time!

Seafood pho

Went around 8pm on a Sunday and was delighted that they were open!! They close at 9:30pm and are open 7 days a week. My mom had the seafood pho. She said it was good but the common items served with pho at other restaurants weren't offered. Only a plate of bean sprouts. She was happy with it though. I was very pleased with my pork chops and only wished that I got more of the pickled daikon and carrot. Happy to have two Vietnamese food places near me!

Phở tái nạm

A relatively new Viet restaurant in Jersey City, near the 99 ranch market. I think it is related to the Nha Trang places in NYC, but I'm unsure. BBH is pretty good along with the grilled pork summer roll. Phở is pretty typical like other places.

HS10. Tom Xao Bong Cai I added their hot sauce to my fried rice.

Authentic and delicious dishes, a bit pricier than some other Vietnamese restaurants in the area but the menu is more expansive.

The food is great (tasty and delicious) and the service is very good…read more Ambiance is nice too. I have been coming here more than 5 times, this is my spot for Vietnamese food. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Stuffed calamari ($25) - there were literally 3 in the dish. 3. I ate one and you're seeing everything else we got. Beef rendang ($24) - 4 pieces of beef. Not wagyu... Pork w spring rolls on vermicelli ($24) - reasonable enough portion but very overcooked. Should be a staple of any Viet spot so idk what they're doing here Would call them right now but they close at 9.... on a Saturday.... I will update this review if I'm able to reach them during biz hours for a resolution but this is easily the most disappointing meal I've had all year. Save your hard earned money and go to Ela's greek or literally anywhere else on this block, even Dominos. EDIT: Went in next day and spoke to a manager, only mentioned portion size and showed the picture, didn't get a chance to say anything about everything being overcooked. He had clearly heard these complaints about portion size before, because he immediately launched into saying the cut of beef + tendon they use for the rendang yields that as their standard portion size. He refunded the calamari. I still won't be going back and would never recommend this place, but wanted to acknowledge the resolution. Also my husband unfortunately wasn't there to speak to them, but he's been in restaurants for 25 years and knows they served chuck, not a fancy cut...

A Decade of Love on a Plate: A Local Favorite That Punches Above Its Weight…read more This place is the definition of a neighborhood gem--the kind you almost want to keep secret, yet can't stop yourself from praising. Cheap and cheerful on the surface, it punches way above its weight class, delivering inventive, clean, Asian-inspired food that's masterfully cooked by clearly skilled hands--and made with real love. I've been coming back year after year for most of this restaurant's 10-year lifespan, and that consistency is no accident. Every dish tastes intentional, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying, with a clear goal: to feed people love on a plate. It's a super veggie/vegan friendly that easily wins over even my "meat and potatoes" husband--who happily cleans his plate every time. In an era where genuine hospitality feels increasingly rare, Perry single-handedly restored my faith that quality service is not extinct. Warm, attentive, and authentically kind, Perry makes every guest feel seen, welcome, and cared for--without pretense or attitude. This is food that nourishes, service that uplifts, and a place that keeps you coming back not just for the flavors, but for how it makes you feel. A true neighborhood treasure.

Mediocre food and very slow service!…read more This place was a disappointment for what I hoped from a highly rated ramen place in the area. The service was quite slow, almost waited 1 hour for entrees to be brought to the table. It's a small place with limited staff working everything. The food was fairly basic. The fried rice seemed to be bland and below par despite ordering the spicy version. My friend who ordered the ramen liked the soup but the meat was not fully cooked and felt chewy.

The dishes are very unique in cultural sourcing - it's not what you expect of a regular Chinese restaurant. The servings are HUGE and good for 2 servings. The ambiance is not that great even though there's a big space and there was a lot of junk sitting around the place like extra stock of drinks and boxes all over the place. I don't think people really eat-in here. When I did takeout, it was still not worth the price of other similar restaurants in the area. Also this place doesn't have combinations sold together -- you have to buy rice on the side for EVERY dish which is not a traditional way to serve each dish in general. The prices here are not worth trying it - way overpriced and overcharged! Should be more affordable since we do not get the rice with the combination plates.
