Am so grateful for this new chicken joint in Hackensack! We were a group for 3 adults and 2 children on a Friday afternoon (1:15pm). Our food came out quick, hot and fresh. Everything was amazing and let me repeat myself, fresh. The Mac n Cheese was not that boxed processed stuff, and tasted so fresh. The Fluffies Filled Fries were so different, but so good. The sandwiches (Nashville and Sweet Chili) were so tasty, my favorite was the Nashville style. The spicy, Cheesy Naan is such a genius idea, and was super Cheesy and gooey. The tenders (not pictured) aren't those fake tenders sold everywhere else; they're actual chicken breasts coated and fried in seasoning. I was very impressed. I have to come back to try the Butter Chicken items, the rice plates, and the Frankie Rolls. Can't wait for that. Overall, the owner and front staff is friendly and very accommodating. The tables and chairs, were wiped immediately after guest left. The bathroom was clean, and I loved the crossword puzzle on the bathroom wall (to keep customers entertained). Their chicken sandwiches are second to none. Chick-fil-A, Popeyes can't eat what they have. When you come here for lunch, you're gonna leave over stuffed it's great. I'm not a picky eater nor do I have any restrictions while eating food. When I tell you this food presents beautifully well, even tasting decent! But it will literally burn a hole through your body. The side of fries was HUGE, but they seemed to be standard frozen fries with a weird coating on them. If they had fresh cut fries, this place would be 5 stars. When I tell you I am now instantly OBSESSED with this poutine, OMG. It comes with two sauces on the side too, one i believe might be a ranch of some kind and another that tasted similar to Chick-fil-A sauce and omg it's so friggen good. The only part that makes me sad is I didn't have more and i should've asked for more cheese. The slaw on the side is also a perfect like cold chaser to the hot savory-ness of the poutine. The chicken was crunchy. I would get the Mac n Cheese again with the sauce on the side. The Mac n cheese was good by its self. The really only bad thing was the napkins. She is the proverbial bad apple whose terrible example may well spread and spoil otherwise decent young people among your bunch of workers into thinking that its "cool" to deliver the last thing service should deliver -- good reasons for your customers not to come back again. The Mac itself was ok but the blend of flavors and the way they make the chicken was unreal. Who knew butter chicken and Mac n cheese would be a match made in heaven?! I order chicken tenders only as I wanted to see spice levels and actually taste the chicken. I order two each of plain, mild and medium. The spice level is legit. I love hot chicken I can taste and this hit the spot. Juicy tenders. A quality amount of protein. Plain still was pretty tasty and you get their sauce on side so it was really good to just taste their chicken. Mild has a little punch, but for pu33ies it's perfect amount of spice. Medium is a real butt kicker. I will say the coating was a bit salty on that one but overall quality kick and chicken is juicy. Will come again for the sandwiches. read more
