After a terrible meal here recently, my family and I will not be returning. There are too many other decent places in the area at which to have dinner. I don't need to pay their prices for a totally underwhelming meal! Excluding the grilled shrimp which was just average (small and too salty) everything else was terrible! The crawfish were totally bland - the worst I have had, and I have eaten crawfish at many, many places since I moved here in 1980. That, itself, would have been a "deal-breaker", but the seafood gumbo was way too runny and the hush puppies were beyond greasy, they were inedible. Like I said, we will not be back. read more

Eric was so helpful and generous and gave us his top recommendations and was very personable with us. Great service and great food. Highly recommend the marinated crab fingers and the bar trash appetizer read more

Best seafood I have had since I left NY coast. Great waitress named Destiny who took super great care of us. PS. . Clean bathrooms!!

Service from bartender was polite, quick and helpful. The food put me to sleep three times. Cocktail shrimp was semi soft and medium sized for cocktail . Flavor was better once adding horseradish. Crawfish bisque was not think and almost no taste . Mine as well just been melted cheese, they did give good amount of crawfish. Red beans and rice, again watery and almost no flavor. BBS cafe has spoiled me. Service was good enough i would come back and try something else. Wish the food was as good as the service. read more

Best Crab Bisque anywhere! Love the other seafood options also! If you are in this area or Sugarland be sure and go!

Brandt is the best server around. Very personable . The catfish was fabulous and very well priced. read more

Okay...been to Floyd's before...nothing too special, just a solid seafood joint. BUT..just attended their parking lot party and had some of the biggest, fattest, crawfish I've ever seen for $5 / lb! This is a "pay with a token" event so taxes and tips are included. And the crawfish were seasoned well, and tender. Just right! The boudin link was tasty too! The Turkey legs needed some seasoning. But what a find! Gotta pay attention so I can hit this event again next year! read more

My husband had been raving about this restaurant, he used to eat at a different location when he was younger. We spent the night in Clear Lake and ate here. We went on Friday night, and the restaurant was busy, but there was not a wait. We started with the seafood fondue, which I definitely recommend. It is served with a generous amount of garlic bread. My husband had the shrimp sampler platter, and he was very pleased with everything. I ordered the grilled stuffed shrimp, I was so happy to be able to order them grilled instead of fried. My husband had dirty rice as a side and I had the stuffed potato, which is a twice baked potato, covered in melted cheese. Everything was delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely come back if I were in the area. read more

I have eaten crawfish in several restaurants and was told Floyd's was the best. I can't say that I agree so I will stick with Guidry's in Deer Park for my crawfish cravings. However out of ALL of the seafood I've eaten, nothing compares to their creamy crawfish bisque. I think it's the best seafood dish I've ever eaten. Next time I'll try the gumbo!! read more

Floyds Seafood - Webster - Creamy Crawfish Bisque is excellent!! 2 lbs of Crawfish in the back. - Cajun/Creole Near Me - Webster, Texas

There are really only two reasons why I come to Floyd's and the crawfish boil and fried crawfish tails are those exact reasons. They seriously have some of the largest, juiciest crawfish that I've ever had and they are so pleasantly seasoned with creole seasoning. The red potatoes were plentiful, soft and buttery and the corn on the cob was delicious as well. For 5$ a pound, it was absolutely worth it. Seriously, don't pass up the fried crawfish tails or alligator either. The lobster and crab bisque's are fantastic as well and make an excellent lunch the next day! You can't have crawfish without beer so grab a bucket of coronas with lime! Service is a little slow and the place is usually packed to the brim on the weekends, but we don't give a hoot. No 25 minute wait will keep me from my Cajun crawfish fix. Definitely recommend. read more

We've been here many times and have always have wonderful experiences when we go. The raw oysters are big and taste clean and refreshing never gritty like some places. This week we tried the crawfish here for the first time. I never expected the crawfish to be so good here! I was pleasantly surprised. The spice was great, they were hot, fresh, and easy to peel. Some of the best I've had. We also had the seafood stuffed jalapenos, which we get regularly and love. They have a nice kick to them and are stuffed full of crab and breading. So yummy! Our toddler always eats the kids catfish meal and devours it. All in all, Floyd's is our go-to for some great seafood and now crawfish too. read more

Very good place for a quick bite or a full course meal, we had the gumbo, crawfish, and oysters everything was fresh and very good!!

Really great Crawfish flavor, surprisingly flavorful above average. The patio deck is perfect for social distancing and the waitstaff was wonderful. The raw oysters were on point. Very impressed with this establishment. read more

First timer and I was looking forward to trying the crab fingers. They were out of them at 1pm on a Saturday. So I changed my order to the seafood Jambalaya. It came out BLAAAND. Then I notice a shaker full of what looked and tasted like "crab boil"? I guess the idea is to season it yourself? We love Cajun and lived in NO for a spell...sorry, but this was nothing special and I left very dissatisfied with a pound of leftovers to donate to the hungry. Probably won't be back. Wished I had tried the gumbo instead, that's the best way to gauge good Cajun. read more

I gave Floyd at 4 because their food is absolutely fabulous I didn't give them a 5 because my redfish was a little bit overcooked. The veggies of the day carrot cauliflower and broccoli were absolutely delicious. As always the service was fabulous our server was Emily G and she was very attentive to our needs my husband did send his chowder back and she microwaved it to get it super hot my chicken and sausage gumbo was absolutely delicious next time I will definitely just get a bowl and make that my meal. read more

The food here was just okay. The appetizers are better than the main entrees. Artichoke dip was good but needed a little more salt/seasoning. The shrimp and oyster poboy was NOT good! There was something about that mushy bread and sauce. I'm from New Orleans and I'm not used to being able to actually COUNT the number of shrimp/oysters on a poboy sandwich. They only gave you 6 of each and the rest of the sandwich was basically a salad on bread! read more

Second time here. Food is great and service is great. I prefer the boat shaped area with direct counter service. Televisions with the Astros are a plus. Another Lyft driver recommended this place... in particular their marinated crab fingers and crawfish. Luckily we had some room for more seafood during our short trip to Houston. They had outside patio. Seating, bar seats and regular dining area. The first thing they asked was if we wanted smoking or non-smoking section (we haven't been to a restaurant that had smoking inside since the 80s!). We opted for the smoking area, which in fact was more like an extension of the bar area. When we were there not many people were actually smoking. One guy was vaping, and there were families with kids in the area. It didn't smell too Smokey from cigarettes. Usually I wouldn't want to sit in a smoking section but also didn't want to wait 25 min for the regular dining area. Since we only wanted a light meal we ordered the marinated crab fingers, crab bisque, a pound of crawfish and hush puppies. Crab bisque was outstanding! Buttery, great flavor and nice chunks of crab meat. Came with a side of rice and bread. The crab fingers were different, nothing I've ever had but very good. I loved how the fingers were ready to dip and eat... easy peasey! I liked the hush puppies a lot too. Crunchy with nice flavor. Came with cocktail sauce and tartar but I ended up dipping them in the hot sauces on the table. There's a nice variety of hot sauces which I loved. Crawfish was so cheap, tasty and huge!! It came with a nice spicy dry seasoning. They seem to always have great deals on crawfish here. It was $6.99/lb when we got ours (Mother's Day). Staff were pretty friendly and we watched food coming out of the kitchen... everything looked great, but the crawfish seemed to be the most popular here. We were quite happy with our visit! I wish I could have taken some of the crab bisque home (back to Cali)! read more

Some of THE WORST food I've ever had. I'm usually one to give second chances and stuff but I've never asked for a check so fast in my life. First we waited at the hostess booth for a really long time because there was no there. We ordered our food , 2 of us ordered crawfish and another ordered shrimp pasta. First off the crawfish were SUPER small and the ones we got were not stripped from the cooking pot because they were already dead before cooked. They were also SUPER salty like it felt like i was just eating salt and Cajun spice. The potatoes that we got were super small and not cooked enough and for the corn we didn't even eat bc it was cold and super pale yucky yellow. For the pasta, it was Al dente lemon noodles with a whole bunch of pasta water around it. You would almost think it's soup. I will never return for Floyd's and i would never encourage or recommend their food to anyone. read more

SMALLEST CRAWFISH IVE EVER PAID FOR!!! My wife took me here as a surprise because people recommended it to us for my first crawfish of the year! We had the crab bisque "which is good" and the Seafood Fondue "which was good as well. But when I recurved my 2 pounds of crawfish 90% were smaller then my pinky. To small to even clean on at least 25% of it. I'm talking like as small or smaller tails then the tip of my pinky. Not to mention tons of scraps mixed in. I was super sad as I was very excited to try them. Well at the end of my meal I saw them bring out crawfish to the table next to me. All normal good size. I realized they gave me the entire bottom remnants of a bag. As a business y'all should never serve one customer a pile of dead scraps to tiny to eat from the very bottom of the bag. That's horrible and very disappointing. I live right down the road and probably won't come back because I feel I was ripped off by what I received yesterday. Cost me 60$ and I threw half of the crawfish away... read more

Went for lunch at 11:30 AM on Friday, 8/10/18. Immediately greeted and seated. Drink order was taken. Ordered the Bud's Platter which is four kinds of shrimp (fried, stuffed, bacon wrapped and broiled) with a side of onion rings. The food was EXCELLENT! The onion rings were a small basket that could have served 2-3 people. But I ate them all. The shrimp was freshly prepared and arrived hot from the kitchen. My server was Stephanie M. She was just attentive enough to check on me but not intrusive. Excellent service. In the past, I would go to Bubba's when in the area. No longer. This is my place to go for good fried seafood now. The building sits on the service road at NASA road 1 and I-45. It is in an old Joe's Crab Shack building. Easy in and out with lots of parking. GREAT PLACE! I WILL RETURN IN THE FUTURE. read more

Did a pick up for lunch, food is straight trash, stuffed shrimp was gross tasted fishy, I don't know what kind of crab it was stuffed with but no sir no mam, wasn't nothing dirty about the rice but the taste. There's nothing Cajun about this place, when I seen Cajun I think bursting with flavor, there was definitely no flavor. I was so disappointed, all the other reviews are definitely people who don't have tastebuds. I never post reviews, that's how disappointed I was with my lunch! read more

Horrible! Sat down and waited almost 10 minutes for a menu and still no drinks! Another table got seated with menus and when we asked, for a snippy response. Got drinks, had to wait another 5 minutes for straws! Appetizer came and we didn't have plates, napkins or utensils. Asked, was told they ran out and had to roll more. Food came out lukewarm and again had to ask for utensils! If you are short cooks and wait staff, then don't sit people. Let them know there would be a wait! 85 minutes for a meal is ridiculous! read more

Out with my hubby and decided on seafood. This waa a great choice! Floyd's was very good! The wait was about 20 minutes which wasn't bad for Valentine's day. The waiter was new, so he was back and forth with other waiters. He still was nice and did get the order right. I ordered the Bub's shrimp, very good especially if you like shrimp. The dirty rice was lacking some flavor but not too bad. I liked the hush puppies but my hubby didn't. He said they had too much onion powder, but it didn't bother me. My husband had catfish and shrimp. He like it. It was fresh and was hot. He burned his mouth. He did say the french fries were okay, nothing special. We will go again, the food was good and the wait time was not bad. read more

Their raw oysters were phenomenal and the service was great, but I cannot recommend their boiled crawfish if you are looking for an authentic experience. We couldn't even finish half of what we ordered, and we are hardcore Cajun crawfish lovers and eaters. Their seasoning is not traditional. It almost had a curry vibe to us which was really bizarre. (We had to request ours to be rinsed since they were so heavily coated.) The juice from the heads also had a strange/dirty twang to it, which became even more prominent once the heavy seasoning was rinsed off. We really tried, but we just couldn't enjoy them. So, if you are like us and trying to get boiled crawfish when you are homesick for Louisiana style, this is not your place. However, we would definitely come back for their oysters; they were the best we've had thus far in this area. read more

Let me start this by saying this place is awesome !, upon walking in we were greeted with great customer service. We had the option to seat outside or inside, we chose to set outside because of the lovely day it was. Our waitress was right there even on the busy day to get our drinks, have our water and asking about appetizers. On weekend from what I'm told they do bands, which cool cause if your into having drinks or just chilling an listening to music this is definitely the place. I ordered the crawfish which was $5.99 a Lb which isn't to bad considering its Houston and some places charge way more. My boss had the crab boulets which were also good, and he ordered the jambalaya an said it was great ! The crawfish was definitely amazing seasoned just right for me especially with me being from Louisiana I'm very picky about my seafood/ or Louisiana cooking outside of Louisiana lol. My experience was definitely cool and worth coming here and I will be going back soon. read more

First timer! Service here was great! Tried the ceviche here. It was definitely different than your normal ceviche. Floyd's taste more like a tomatoe-y flavor, but I still liked it. For my meal, I got the chicken fried steak and I tell you that gravy sauce was amazing! It was some kind of buttery gravy, definitely recommend this. read more

I wish I had photos!! First time dining here, btw. I must say first of all as soon as we walked in the door we could smell the cajun goodness, so we knew it would be a hit!! We ordered the oysters Lafayette which were so fresh and delicious. My girlfriend ordered the catfish etouffee and I had the Floyd's platter. Everything was so delicious and seasoned well. The hush puppies melt in your mouth. I'm not a cocktail sauce type of person but Floyd's cocktail sauce was . Everything was so hot, fresh and delicious. Frozen dinner food at Pappadeaux's prices. The bacon wrapped shrimp was dry and over cooked and my wife's snapper entrée was pitifully small for the price. I did enjoy the raw oysters and the glass of water. After visiting the Mont Belvieu location I thought I'd be walking into a similar location, but this place is shabby and more like a beach bar than a place that should cost a couple $100 for dinner. read more
