I had a fast lunch here and did not expect today's experience. The inside is beautiful and love the direction the restaurant is going. Unfortunately I had been given raw food and was made to feel guilty for wanting good food. The bartender took my order and never made anything of needing to request salmon to be cooked fully. Unaware I ate my salad n kept digging at the salmon until I accepted that it was raw. I asked her if I was wrong and she agreed it was raw. She took it to the back to turn around and come back to ask what I want to replace it with and still had the salad in her hand. I asked for it to be remade. She goes so you want the salmon med well. I asked," was my salad supposed to be like that." She said she put it med and it needed to be put med well. I never in my life had to ask for a salmon to be fully cooked. I don't think that I'll be returning because of this and because the way she made me feel guilty for asking salmon to be fully cooked. Worst part of all is I would have loved the salad if I wasnt made to feel guilty. I was alone n she shamed me for wanting my food cooked and not get food poisoning. read more

We heard so many rave reviews that we had to experience for ourselves. The decor was not what I was expecting . The ambiance is so inviting and relaxing. There is seating outside for dining and a lounge area to chill and talk while waiting. Food - 3.5 stars I ordered a redfish with baked potatoes and another side of veggies. (One side per dish) The redfish has a bland taste but when you add the melted season sauce, it adds flavor. The presentation of the food was plain and could be improved due to its price. Stopped here for lunch with few coworkers. The place was very busy during lunch time on Tuesday. The restaurant is fairly big. Includes dinning area, large bar and outside patio. This chicken fried fish withcrawfish bisque was so good, well seasoned and nicely fried. The asparagus was also very good, cooked well. Boudin balls are also good. Our server was very kind and gave us good choices of the best entrees to choose. She also checked in to ensure we were good and enjoyed the food. My family and I visited this location on Saturday which the hostess did NOT greet us. Not sure if she was having a bad day but she was not friendly. We ended up sitting at the bar due to being told there was a 20 min wait even though there were SEVERAL empty tables available. Our bartender Gracie was a sweetheart. Our favorites by far are the one on IH45 S @ NASA Rd 1 and the one off Washington & IH10 in western Beaumont. This is a beautiful new restaurant, plenty parking, nice decor. Astute readers will note that this is not how a really good review begins. Waitstaff slow & inattentive, not adequately familiar w/ offerings. I had stuffed shrimp, Wife the CFS & mashed 'taters. They had no potato salad nor cole slaw. The CFS wasn't crispy, the FF's downright soggy. Not my thing nor will it ever be. My meal was okay at best. The fried shrimp were decent. Crawfish etoufee was very watery and soggy. The side of andouille sausage sucked! Lol. It's a fun place for sure, with good service, and whether you want a quick bite or a longer meal you'll find it. I just don't like the food. Went here two times this week while in a work trip. Go-to starter is blackened boudin link, always a winner. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the kitchen was very flexible with my request to combine two different dishes and executed my request perfectly. The waitress came in and took all of our orders and I wanted something extra so she asked for my credit card at that time which I gave her and I guess that was to secure my extra order the seminar was about an hour And then our food came out and everyone ate during that time I requested my credit card back twice. I never received it as I was walking out of the restaurant I asked for a manager no manager came. I asked for my credit card a third time and it was in her pocket, so she had my credit card in her pocket for about an hour and a half the excuse was they were very busy that is not OK with me The seminar was really the only part of the restaurant that was busy. There were a few customers there, but there was not that many and this was at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The food was OK. I called ahead of time to make certain they did indeed serve crab legs. It was my 60th birthday celebration and I was very unhappy at the end of thenight. Everyone's dinner came out to our table. The crab legs and everything else on my plate I could hold in my hand and no heat, not even warm! The butter was Cold!
