After I moved they upscaled their location over to Ventura Blvd. off Las Posas in the big plaza there. They're in between HomeGoods and The Home Depot on the western end of the shopping area. Often when Dear Hubby and I go over to Ventura for the afternoon, I'll plan to stop at this Michael's on the way back home. It's a convenient location with lots of free parking. Over the years, they've stepped up the merchandising layout of the store. I can easily be enticed by the seasonal items they stock, as those seem to get cuter each year. The yarn department can be hit or miss still. Am hoping that they will get one of the newer yarn / fabric departments which are arising out of the purchase of Joann's labels for yarn, especially. Our Sweet Granddaughter influences me to stay interested in crafting, including jewelry making, which she loves. She wants me to teach her how to crochet, which I will gladly do when her hands get a little bigger. She's just turning 6, so it may be a bit too soon and lead to frustration instead of joy. We'll get there, though. Last time I stopped in, most of what I bought was to work on making friendship bracelets with SG. It's helpful to be signed up for Michael's rewards program, as that usually provides extra discounts when it's time to cash out. They run good sales throughout the seasons, so you can usually get a good price on whatever items you're seeking. In my creative shopping Joann's was #1 and Michael's #2. Now that Joann's is gone, Michael's moves into the #1 spot.

I left a frame back at the store by accident and stupid of me, I did not print out a receipt. Apparently this was enough for the store manager to accuse me of getting free merchandise. I paid for the items, I just left it at your store. I needed to find one of the employees who literally walked my items with me at the cashier to confirmed I did indeed buy it. She did not want to bring confirm with one of her employees I bought the items, she did not want to check her systems, NOTHING! Always get a receipt because this Micheal's will steal from you if you don't! It's sad because there is some genuine good people here who will help you but the manager is god awful. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! Go to Hobby Lobby or Micheal's in Ventura instead.

I thought all Hallmarks had closed and so I haven't been to one in 20+ years. The store was large and they sold more items than I remembered. They had a clothing boutique section immediately on the right when you enter. They still have gifts broken up in sections like gifts for "him", "her", "baby" and kids. The back wall had Christmas decor marked at 75% off and my visit was the last week of February. They had a religious section, figurines, Easter decor and gifts and home decor that was beach themed. The sales clerks were friendly and greeted me when I entered and another one greeted me as I walked around. The store is clean, organized and was pretty big inside. I didn't buy anything but it's nice to know that if I am having a hard time to buy a gift for someone, I can come here and find something for everyone.

These are some of my favorite candies at Sees Candies - although I must admit I've rarely eaten a candy here I didn't like. The store is spacious, clean, and cool to keep the candies at a pleasing, non-melting temperature. Staff is always friendly, and they will patiently wait for you to look at all the delicious candy and descriptions before deciding which ones you want. They will give you a sample when you walk in, and sometimes, will let you choose the sample. I used to go here an embarrassingly high number of times as a candy addict, but nowadays I walk in here with my head held high - and try not to order one of everything!

This isn't the biggest home goods in the 805 but it'll do. I wish the isles were a little bigger as it can sometimes be hard to navigate this store during high traffic hours BUT I'd rather have more merchandise than larger walking spaces so I make it work. Little random things that do matter are that their bathrooms are clean and they have a large shared parking lot. Staff here are always nice and I appreciate that they always seem to have at least 2-3 cash registers open. Happy to have a Home Goods in Camarillo.

A pound box now costs $36.50, so prices have been steadily rising over the years. Unfortunately, a pound box isn't enough for the "one piece of everything" I'd secretly like to request, so I opt for my favorites, a mix of white, dark, and milk chocolate. My eyes are usually bigger than my stomach, so the box almost always ends up being heavier than a pound. So now my wallet hurts even more when I go to pay. I always plan to parcel out a few candies every day into my mouth to make them last until they're all gone. So when a customer who is preparing a custom 1 pound box and they ask for a sample, don't continue to not give them one until they check out. I think you've lost the purpose of what a sample is for. Try following your coworker, who gives out a sample as soon as somebody walks up to choose the candies for their custom box. You should do better. You made me ask twice for a sample while I was shopping and only gave me one after I asked twice and everybody else already had samples from the other employee AND I was done choosing the candy for my custom pound box... Do you need more training?
