I'd seen the signage from the freeway for many years but never stopped by until recently. I was pleased to see it's a vintage/antique store! Small shop, but has a lot crammed into it. Everything was in good (or good enough for me) condition and pricing seemed fair. I bought a couple of things and enjoyed looking around. The two ladies who were there running it were super nice and fun to chat with. They gave me and my husband some additional background on a few of the more show-stopping pieces they had for sale. I was just at Marcy's Attic yesterday I had specific items I was looking for and I couldn't have been more pleased. The store has so many wonderful items anyone is bound to find exactly what they want. I'm always on the hunt for new, hole-in-the-wall Thrift or Second Hand stores, and have been wanting to come here for quite a while. So glad I finally did! My "plan" was I was looking for a tea kettle, but I knew that anything else could and would be on the agenda! When I walked in, there was so much around I didn't know where to start. Neat books, picture frames, kids' clothes, and everything in between! And, I need to be specific - all the items I saw in here were in PRISTINE condition! So many things caught my eye (a wooden set-up that was a record player! See my picture) - I can't think of what it's called. There were neat things in the very back of the shop, too. I could have stayed there for hours! (I almost did.) I finally decided on a Gymboree outfit for a friend's baby and a plaque for my mom's birthday. Such a neat place with very friendly and caring staff. I highly recommend this place if you're on the hunt for something unique and special. I was looking for a cabinet for my office, and called Marcy's Attic. Marcy texted me back with pictures of what she had in stock, and prices. When I went into the store the next day, I was ready to buy one of the cabinets, but she stopped me! What sales person tells you to wait!? That it might not be what you're looking for??! She suggested other antique stores in the area, and offered to hold the cabinet for me just in case I really wanted it. Well, she was right, it wasn't for me, and I bought somewhere else. Update! Have been in many more time and always a friendly reception to us and our dog. I walked around a little and said Hi to them again. One woman looked up and then just continued talking to other woman. Hummmm. Maybe Hi means something else in this store. Their hospitality was amazing and that to me, is so hard to find nowadays. I found some wonderful things that I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE else. I was out taking a walk to enjoy some personal time and possibly find a gift for a friend. I went in here on a whim. WOW!!! Best choice made! The energy in this shop run by two beautiful souls was very welcoming and open. No pressure, great people,excellent treasures! I was not in a fixed state of mind but had a few thoughts on what I wanted to purchase. A few things popped out to my personal sensibilities, but I wasn't out for me. As I was considering a few lovely little trinkets and the handmade beautiful jewelry from an artist in Mexico, I crossed a section in the front and an item LITERALLY ILLUMINATED!! This cute little store is stocked full of everything and anything you would need to decorate your home, office, or give as gifts - AND the prices are great! The selection of items is vast and they have something for every decor. After shopping and finding several items that I couldn't live without, I went to pay and met Marci and her mom, Sue! Well, what a surprise (NOT) they, too, were delightful and warm and friendly. I found a cute little lamp that had a couple of scratches and while I continued my shopping, Sue took care of those scratches and the lamp looked like new! My daughter and I wound up staying and visiting with them for a long time - in fact, way after the time they should have closed, yet, I never felt pressured to leave or to buy more.
