I had a little time to kill on a Friday weekday so I popped in to see what they had. This store was…read morevery clean and organized. They had a lot of clothing and kitchen wares. It's a smaller store compared to other Goodwill stores I have been in but still enough to want to take a look inside to see what is available. Prices seemed a bit high. Little cheap metal decorative canisters were $3 which seemed a bit much for Dollar store looking containers.

I just happened upon this one a couple of weeks ago and I was really surprised at their great selection. In addition, the employees are really nice and everything is well organized. No dressing room but they allow exchanges within 7 days. If you donate, don't forget your receipt as you get a 25% off coupon for your next visit. The amount of original tag items is pretty high and I've seen some really great brands! I scored a brand new Banana Republic mini skirt for $4 and a Free People jean jacket with matching shorts for $15! Just as important as the things I actually buy are the items that are kooky... and there's some great jaw droppers here to keep me entertained! The bonus is the location. SP's Main Street that this Goodwill is on is really a gem! Lots of unique stores and restaurants surrounding, old theaters, etc. I work in SP 2 days a week and this is where I spent my lunch break. It's the most exciting part of my day! Happy hunting! Get those bargains, y'all!

I had some jewelry I wanted to sell. Great service and fair price…read more Highly recommend!

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Fox Jewelry in Ventura…read more I came in with a buyer to not only sell my peice of jewelry, but also have the buyer resize the ring with the store. A staff member confidently told me (IN FRONT OF MY BUYER) that my IGI-certified 4CT lab-grown diamond was fake and "for sure Cubic Zirconia", even after I demonstrated the paperwork. After more staff members took a look, they come back to confirm it WAS actually a lab diamond (like I tried to explain!) That level of contradiction is beyond unprofessional and completely destroyed trust in the middle of a sale. On top of that, they tried to quote me around $3,000 to "rebuild" the ring because the band is thin, which felt wildly inflated. However, another person on the floor was much kinder and explained that this was due to the professional grade. Either way, she was much more informative than the other person that did not know the difference between a CZ and a diamond. This was embarrassing, frustrating, and handled terribly. I would not trust their judgment. Get a second opinion somewhere else.

Fortunately he had time to work on it while I waited and check sizing with me as we went. I can finally wear this ring again! Very happy with the result I got and the price I paid. I can't guarantee he'll be able to work on the spot for everyone like this, but I was very satisfied and would bring future work here.

This is why you can't trust reviews. My grandfather had a Sessions mantle clock that he probably…read morehad since the 1930s. He passed away in 1970. Flash forward to Thanksgiving 2024. My cousin had given this clock to my sister, and my sister knowing my interest in genealogy, gave the clock to me. It wasn't running right (some movement, but it would stop, also it chimed endlessly. I took it to a local jewelry store, where they had it for about six months before telling me they could not repair it. I realized I needed a special kind of clock repairman, so I did an internet search and found Hopkins Jewelers, in Burbank. This was early May, 2025. They had excellent reviews. I liked the shop. Very old school. Clocks lining the walls. Clocks to be repaired all over the floor. Sure, chaotic but definitely looked like a shop that could handle a nearly century old mantle clock. The owner said give him three months. At three months I called and he said he had looked at it but still trouble shooting. Here's the thing, having the clock, my grandfather's clock, was the important thing. Having it work like "clockwork" would be a bonus but not if I risked this place going out of business. So after another three months I decided to go in and if he hadn't fixed it I would thank him for his time, pay him for whatever analysis he had done, and retrieve my clock. Well bottom line, he basically did not want to return it to me. He didn't actually refuse but he kept tinkering with it for probably two hours, telling me it was maybe this thing wrong, or that thing wrong, but to leave it with him and he would continue working it. I agreed to this (big mistake). So after 11 months of him holding my clock I went back to the shop where he tells me it's fixed. We had put in an original stipulation that he would do a maximum of $500 work into it, but he plugged it in, showed me the second hand was keeping time, charged me the $500 and away I went. I plugged it in at home and for the next ~2 hours it worked, then the hands stopped moving (except the second hand, figures). I called him up and basically he is asking all these questions, so I responded why didn't he check it before telling me it was fixed and charging me $500. Basically he wants me to return the clock and let him work on it again. I am not going to do that, I have my clock back and I am going to write this review so that you don't get ripped off like I did.
