Loved this place! First search for antique stores in Filmore saw all the Disney stuff all in one spot loved their selection I got myself 3 Disney items! 2 vintage 1970 Disneyland magazines witch go for $20 or so but 2 for $10 not a bad deal! Also got this Walt Disney classic collection good scout Donald Duck figure for $20 and goes up in price to this day, which wasn't cheep at all and first successful run! Loved the lady working their she was very nice and friendly and checked on us every once in a while! Also told me someone makes metal work on any character might be back one day! A must stop by if your in the area or driving through Fillmore! read more

Went back today, February 1, 2025. Purchased more items and used my AE and I was not asked for an ID. There was a different sales lady at the register and today there was no need to speak Spanish so did those two factors equal not being asked for my ID???? Or, was it the fact that there was a different sales lady, alone, that made the difference? read more

Great prices and always a changing and interesting inventory due to the many vendors. Prices are also very good.

Always a fun stop when we are in Fillmore. This little shop is packed with great finds at good prices. The inventory changes often and seasonally. There are cute succulent displays out front which make thoughtful gifts. The owner is friendly and helpful. read more

This is a medium sized antiques and vintage store in downtown Fillmore. It was okay... the stuff was very "pretty" and they had an okay selection. But it seemed VERY overpriced to me. I'm not super knowledgeable about antiques, but I've been to some of the shops in Ventura pretty recently and this one seemed too expensive. Additionally, I saw a bird cage there for $150. I am quite knowledgeable about birds and bird cages and this was worth about $50. Maybe $65 because it was cleaned up better than any other of its type I've seen, but it was just a standard wrought iron cage that isn't really well-sized to fit any living bird. It might have been from the 60s. Maybe that's antique these days. Anyway you can get the same thing on craigslist for a third the price. The items they had on sale looked like they were more fairly priced, but they didn't look like big sales or bargains to me. If you don't mind overpaying or need something here that no one else has, I guess go for it. Otherwise, check out the places in Ventura or even check locally on craigslist first. I love this place! It's kitschy but not junky or messy. The prices are beyond fair. I found a vintage D&B bag for $30! Also picked up a set of Dorothy Thorpe glasses perfect for a wedding gift. The staff is friendly and sweet. One of my favorite vintage stores. read more

Vintage Pleasures - Antiques Near Me - Fillmore, California

Ordinarily very pleasant encounters and layaway experience. Recently placed an item on layaway, was called (first time) to pick up item for impending Christmas stock. Informed Norma that I would be in to pick up item that weekend but came down with flu (in her defense, she didn't know). Second call (following week) she left an abrasively toned message noting that I was to pick up item that following weekend or I would lose my deposit. While I can appreciate the business aspect, her MO and delivery were inconsistent in cultivating a clientele base (especially driving 80 miles -ONE way) only to be ignored be her and assisted by someone else. Guaranteed it will be some time before I go back and do business. Good selection of things within shop, but interface is questionable (explains only 3 stars). read more

This was yet another stop on the Ladyfriend and I's day trip. This place is really cool, a lot of odds and ends one might be searching for on Ebay or the Rose Bowl swap meet. Looking for some chockas, odds and ends, or a unique gift for someone. The Ladyfriend and I were really happy with the service, as the lady working that day was super friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend visiting. It sure beats looking through the flotsam and jetsam of that bizarre neighbor(s) (we've all known or had one) that has garage sales. read more

Finally! I have finally found a second hand store that is worth going back too! The owner was VERY sweet and REAL. She didn't follow me around begging for money she was extremely helpful and in all honestly the stores prices were of the best I have seen in a long time from a vintage/ antique/ second hand store. I read a review on here about high prices and laughed! Seriously you couldn't get any better! I purchased several items without a second thought from this shop. The goodwill is pricier than this place. Very unique, one of a kind items, extremely organized and clean store. Wonderful prices and service. I am going back, actually this weekend! This is my favorite store in Fillmore. We only visit Southern California a couple times a year but this has been a must stop with every visit. Norma has the best quality antiques at the best prices. No junk in this store. Very clean and organized. Easy to wander through the store plus she keeps the aisles wide enough for wheelchair access. She does a fantastic job of displaying. I'm on a fixed budget so prices are important to me. This place is great and I always come away with something from my childhood. read more
