Cute little shop! They carry a mix of items -- new, used, vintage and consigned. The young lady in the store warmly greeted us as we walked in. She gave a quick history of the store and explained how the owner procures items. She was so sweet to ask about our day and share some tips for exploring the area. Items are well organized and clean. There is a fairly large selection of formal wear, kept in individual plastic covers, in the back which I don't see often in vintage boutiques. I found the prices to be a bit on the higher end, but it worked out ok with 20% off regular prices. A lovely skirt came home with me. :) read more

Owner never paid me or contacted me re clothes I left for consignment. I'm sad about that because it's the only place in town read more

It was a while ago when I went into the store. There was a car show across the street. I had the absolute best experience. The owner was there and I started picking out some pieces. When I was in the dressing room she became my personal shopper. She kept bringing me new pieces after knowing what I was looking for. She also told me that she drives all over to hand pick her pieces. Everything was priced well. Love this place. read more

This consignment shop is a waste of time. I stopped by with some beautiful clothes around Christmas time. And the owner told me they were out of season. So I kept them in my car to bring back when they were in season. The second time I came back. The owner wasn't there and the person at the shop said she would put my name on the list for the owner to call me. She never did she was supposed to call me after the first time as well. And never did the third time I stopped by there today. With very bougie clothing, she stated that she can only take certain things at certain times and I told her it was rude to keep telling me that she was going to call me. See pulled the don't you know I'm the owner line on me, and was a game quite rude.I am taking my very nice clothing to a nice consignment shop in santa barbara.Where there people are friendly and helpful.Don't bother going to the green goddess read more

I stopped by this boutique today and lived vicariously through my friend as she bought some adorable outfits. I had my eye on a gorgeous teal suede bag with some embroidery but I had time control myself since I'd recently done some intense retail therapy. My friend and I appreciated their wide array of good quality items that ranged from clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags, and other accessories. In addition, I was told that the ladies at this boutique also make costumes as needed for fairs and other events...such as the Renaissance Fair which unfortunately had to be cancelled this year. I'd come back again and I recommend you do too if you're in the area. PARKING Available right in front of the shop on the street read more

This boutique is an absolute gem in Camarillo! Such personal service and the items are curated with such an eye for fashion and quality. This woman is a nightmare to work with! I sold her two bridesmaids dresses (each about $200) and she was supposed to mail me a check within three weeks. That was 6 months ago, and still no check! After reading five other similar stories here it is clear she needs to face the consequences. I have been into her store on three separate occasions and each time she gives me attitude and asks me to leave her store. I would gladly never come back to your store again if you would just pay me the money you owe me! This is criminal activity and completely unethical business practices. I regret giving her a dollar of my business or a minute of my time. I am appalled that she continues to get away with robbing customers. We have an "appointment" next week, if she does not produce the money she owes me I am calling the police. This is your last warning, lady! Also, I'm filing a complaint with the city, whether she pays me or not. This is completely unacceptable. read more

Don't know what made me turn in and park in front of this shop. Sure I have been browsing inside before, but never as I did today ( Friday) Sofia is awesome she quickly assessed my interests and found the perfect dress for me. Thanks. And as almost always, Sofia is not her real name. Anyway, I was nervous. She was sweet and compassionate when interacting with my needs and requests. She is a good egg! Be good to her..... The experience end to end also with the owner supplementing was excellent. This vintage clothes shop is almost perfect. Hmmmmmmm why? Not enough shoes to choose from (Just kidding) do stop in to see all the shoes! Not enough larger sizes, sorry girls (4.5 instead of 5) read more

Okay, so I sent this woman a SASE so she can send me the money she owes for my Coach handbag that i consigned with her in 2014. I went in to her shop with a friend around May 22, or 23, 2014 to check the status and she said my handbag sold on May 1, 2014 and that I would have to wait until June 20, 2014 to get paid. I will admit I became frustrated and vented to her; two days letter I wrote her a letter of apology for venting my frustrations at her and asked her to mail me my check. As of the date of this review I have STILL not received payment. She occasionally responds and accuses me of going to "extremes" and wants some sort of face to face confrontation. No thank you, I am not interested in any drama or trauma from you. Just PLEASE send me the $45 you owe me. If you're truly the Christian you claim to be, then pay me my money. Thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Comment from Clydia R. of The Green Goddess Business Owner 3/31/2016 Sandy L you've gone to every extremes to be hasty and your very accommodating to give me an envelope instead of face me. read more

Thank you so much Clydia!! I never fail to find the perfect dress. My husband loves the shoes. He was shocked at how much I saved. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. The owner, Klydia, is extremely helpful, nice and really takes care of her customers. I walked in as a first time customer in desperate need to find a themed outfit and walked out completely satisfied and will be a returning customer! She's not kidding when she says she will help you, you will be helped. If she doesn't have it, she will make sure she finds something that will work and she will make it work. Literally just left this store. My mother has been in contact with the owner in regards to finding very specific clothes for a work assignment. She was told to come in today in the morning as the owner had the desired clothes in storage and would have them ready for her to peruse. We went in today, and the owner claimed she had no idea who we were, and that she wasn't ready and would need us to return tomorrow! Keep in mind this is the third time we've visited the shop, each time we leave empty handed. The owner has no idea what she's doing, and is very unprofessional. My mother is very disappointed and we will not be returning to this shop ever again, as clearly our business is not wanted. read more

This resale boutique is awesome! Clydia is a very warm, friendly and talented stylist who has created a beautiful environment for her customers, filled with so many upscale clothing and accessory treasures at fantastic prices. I love that she is very picky about the quality of the clothing she sells. So many were in excellent condition. My tween daughter was thrilled to take home an adorable trendy blouse and Clydia was helpful and kind, making sure clothing was age-appropriate and flattering for my young daughter. Clydia's got a great eye for what works for various figures and easily chose jeans for me in the size and cut that fit my shape-shifting body :) What a great treasure to find The Green Goddess and Clydia! DO NOT SELL your items with this store. this would be a 0 star if I could. it has been years and no payment and no phone calls. I know my stuff has sold because she told me, then said she sent a check, Did not. had her investigate it, never got back to me. then made excuse all her consignments were being put on computer system and would get back to me, nothing!! I physically came to store and then she finally wrote a check out and I returned it because it was made out wrong, bank wouldn't accept it. she acts like selling our stuff and writing the check is such a burden that we are in the wrong for asking for our consignment. She keeps your money and won't call. read more
