I visited Things Remembered recently. What stood out to me were the toys, paperback novels, wood art, and Elvis memorabila. I enjoyed exploring the store.

Walked in here out of sheer curiosity. There are lots of things to take in so make sure you come here with time to spare. Lots of different toys and antiques from various decades. I was very intrigued by their doll selection in the back. I did not buy anything so I cannot speak to the price of the items. Employees greeted me when I arrived but I am sure they are more than happy to help if you need assistance.

If your looking for antique and one of a kind, look no further. First timer here and I could definitely say it's a place to say you've been. I love a good vintage and antique experience and this place has things that you'll be sure to love. It's not everyone's taste but to experience it was fun. Some things, well a lot of things seems like just a bunch of whatever's. But you they did have some amazing wall arts and trinkets. Loads of vintage and costumes jewelry for the collectors. Also, if your a cartoon lover. Look no further. There were tons and tons of old school items. Figurines, vintage lunch boxes, collectors pieces. As well as clothes. There's different cubicle that are associated with the genres and types of items. If a good walk through if you don't mind taking the time. Everything is all scattered and not in particular order but in its place. But, it's a little creepy with the dolls.... it's like, they're everywhere...lol.... Fun cool place to stop by and have a wander around.

If your in Ventura California come here for the one of the best antique stores I've been too! I loved this place! Place was very roomy and great selections of stuff I ended up buying a lot of Disney (Donald Duck) antiques and a Funko POP of a POP Town Walt Disney Castle with Mickey for $59 and on the Funko App it was $70 what a grab! Definitely will be back! Staff are nice and friendly! One of the workers gave me a $10% discount! I will definitely be back one day for more haunting! Happy hunting antique collectors!

Awesome place to browse for old stuff. There are some antiques, but most items are more like second hand treasures. You can easily spend an hour or two sifting through all the pieces and browsing all of the booths. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/times-remembered-ventura?select=_7wm_hbbHSRmnhqlem1XrA#_7wm_hbbHSRmnhqlem1XrA http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/times-remembered-ventura?select=L0Qq9FSVSoTHYw49eCCSXA#L0Qq9FSVSoTHYw49eCCSXA http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/times-remembered-ventura?select=QLRvLi9251tA-cBSXJjSlg#QLRvLi9251tA-cBSXJjSlg There are a lot of collectibles here locked in cases. The employees are very friendly and willing to open as many cases you like. We found a cool mug for a friend's collection back in Scottsdale. If you don't find anything, it's still a lot of fun to browse all of the cases. Return Factor - 87%

This is, by far, my favorite shop to visit in downtown Ventura.

How many years have we driven past this treasure trove, only to say, 'One of these days...'? Well…read moreTODAY was finally that day and I wish I hadn't put it off. I've visited many antique stores with varying booths, but Antique Adventures is definitely one of the tidiest and cohesive to explore. Booths are clearly marked and associates walk the aisles should guest have any questions or need assistance. I did! I asked to please see a vintage MCM bar/stereo system that was hidden in a console. 'Of course!' was the quick answer. The piece made my heart happy, being a fan of MCM, but the owner/seller had it attached to a electric "fireplace," trimmed in "brick" that seemed more 80s. I asked if it was just resting atop for display purposes but, no, I was all one large piece. Bummer. I'm guessing the top console lost contact with its legs and this was an improvised fix. I have been interested in finding a record player and a bar cart to match our Mid Century furnishings, so this may have fulfilled both wants, but it was a pass. Very cool, though. Hubs found a treasure he had been seeking for a couple of years, a DVD of a "no longer broadcast-able" episode of "30 Rock". For a couple of bucks, he was a happy hunter. LOADS of cool jewelry and also some true estate sale finds. I'm always surprised when something I see jolts a memory from the recesses of my foggy brain. A couple of weeks ago it was a Raggedy Ann and Andy lunchbox priced at $30 - WITHOUT the thermos! Mind you, this was the era where we couldn't drop our thermos for fear of the interior glass shattering, resulting shards of glass slicing our throats with the first gulp. Hmmm....wonder if that was one of those "stories" meant to scare us into caring for our possessions??? Anywho, seeing that lunchbox awoke something and I shuddered to think why the thermos was missing. Today, of all things was an unusual wall hanging sculpture of a branch of flowers, painted gold and white that hung over the head of my yellow daisy canopy bed. Someone else had THAT hanging in their home?!? Weird to think and made me chuckle. Aside from the friendly folks and easy to navigate aisles, there are a handful of parking spaces in front, but PLENTY of parking in the back lot and along the street. We'll definitely keep Antique Adventures on our "to visit" list for each time we're in the Ventura area. Maybe I'll be a lucky treasure hunter like Hubs. Cheers! "CC"
