When we walked in he was there to answer our questions and show us the different options of flooring they offered. We selected laminate floors and couldn't be happier. Lou directed us to a great installer, Kyle. Kyle and his crew are no doubt the the most experienced, professional group of laborers we encountered during our renovation project. I have been working with this company for over a decade. It is extremely sad to see how this company has gone downhill. I had given them a lot of business over the years and referrals. We had flooring installed in a home in 2022 and it is already lifting. The inspector from the manufacturer finally showed up after months of waiting and numerous phone calls. Then I was told that the claim was denied because the installer had installed it incorrectly. However, we used Flooring Liquidator's installer and they are still not willing to fix it. As a Realtor and Property Manager, I will no longer use their services and I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. I was told that they no longer have a Claims Dept. so if you buy something and have any issues - There is NO WARRANTY on the product and they DO NOT honor their work. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the unreliability of a particular installer they use. Chris and Luis were very helpful and attentive to my concerns. While I will always purchase my flooring needs from Flooring liquidators, I will never use This installer. They never came back to finish the job I paid for and were rude and unprofessional. While they installed the flooring well, they put the baseboards back and it looks like a 2 year old put it back. It's been 2-3 months and I finally went into the new store, spoke with Luis and scheduled for today to have them come back to finish the job. Took off today from work, waited until 2pm and contacted them. The reply I received was they were busy on another job and to reschedule for tomorrow. I'm not taking another day off from work for these jokers...avoid Ruiz installers at all cost !!!!!! read more

So this place is one of the worst experiences i have ever had trying to get what I paid for We picked our flooring, it was promised in a week so we put 1/2 down. After a week they indicated it was a month out as everyone wanted that flooring. This is most likely true as it was a pretty good price At that point we picked another flooring as it was again only a week out coming from bay area. Well a week later no calls and could almost never get a phone call returned. Well three weeks later still nothing, cant get calls returned, they cant find my order etc. finally got ahold of a guy at their 800 number who found our flooring in Modesto i told them I would be there in the morning The next morning i got my flooring but none of the trim was in with it, drove it to Lodi and the installer we hired with his crew had it done that day Returned the unused flooring and they wanted to pay me another day. Hell No! Still have never received a call about our trim the guy said they still owe us $100 or so as the numbers were all jacked up This place has flooring but don't be in a rush and don't put more than required as a down payment. While the flooring is what we wanted at a good price the customer service makes it not worth the hassle. If they would just stay in contact and not make you chase them by phone with no results so you have to drive in almost every time you want a simple update on the flooring promised by any date it could be better read more

I am in the process of building a custom home. I was looking for some gray hardwood flooring. I found the one I wanted for my 4,500 sq. ft. home. The price and shipping date was all within my budget and time. When I was first approached by a salesperson he tried to talk me out of floating my hardwood floor and instead buying some cheap "Luxury Vinyl Tile". The salesperson was very adamant about the LVT. I told him I wanted hardwood for resale purposes as well as the real factor. He finally admitted that the boss bought way too much LVT and they are being told to peddle them to the customers. Luis is the guy at the counter. He seemed very knowledgeable. Unfortunately he was lying through his teeth. When I was placing my order for $20,000 worth of hardwood I told him that the exact measurements. I needed bull nose stair treads for my 19 stair steps, each is 48 inches in length. He said each plank of wood is 8 feet so we would only need 9 planks for the stairs. A couple of weeks later when the wood for the stairs did arrive the wood planks were only 7 feet and 6 inches! So I was short on wood for my stairs! When I went to speak with him at first he blamed my guy who was installing the floor. Luis blamed my floor guy for giving him the wrong measurements. This was not the case because I had already placed the order with him in person and my stair guy told him the same. Luis specifically said each plank was 8 ft. so he either was mistaken or he lied. Throughout this process he never apologized he was in fact rather rude. When he was placing the order for the remaining stairs he said it would take 4-6 working days. I figured this isn't a huge delay and paid for the additional wood needed. 2 months later the wood for the stairs is finally getting here! Throughout the process I would call and ask why it's taking so long he would always say it will be here in a couple of days giving vague times of arrival. After a month and a half of this I called Luis again and he said the wood will be here in two days. Not believing him I decided to call the LA branch to see where the wood actually was and when it was arriving. The LA office said the wood wouldn't be arriving until another week. All in all I'm not sure of Luis is just incompetent at his job or if he was just playing me along. Very disappointed in him and will not work with him in the future! I love the wood in my home but the fact that there was such a significant delay is ridiculous! read more

The staff are very friendly and acknowledged us as we walked in the door which is always nice! It's a very big store and we were able to let them know what we needed and they recommended us a nice rug for outdoors. If I could give no stars I would! We went through these guys twice...yes twice. The first time placing our order was ridiculous; the sales person had no idea what he was doing. We were suppose to receive our product at a certain date and of course no call no updates and no product...we eventually got our product. Then we had to do another room about 6 months later and we had to go back to this location to get the same product and again it was the worst service ever. We asked when the earliest we could receive the product and they told us that it would take 1 week, set a date to pick up. That day came, I called to make sure it was going to be there....and to my surprise it wasn't...no call...no update...nothing! We didn't receive the product for over 3 weeks! After using them twice, I will NEVER use them again! They absolutely suck! read more

I contacted Flooring Liquidators to get an estimate for a friend who was worried her entire subfloor needed to be replaced. Kevin came out to inspect and measure. He was very patient with my friend, explaining how the integrity of her subfloor is solid & sturdy with no water damage and was not in need of replacement. I really appreciate not only that he was honest and did not take advantage of her, but he also took the time to explain - he was very knowledgeable on the varieties of flooring and the construction of the subfloor. I was surprised at all the choices in flooring here, and great prices. I recommended him to my two sons who recently bought a house, they made an appointment to get measurements and Kevin helped them choose the right product for their house and budget, they are super happy with their new flooring. We decided to give flooring liquidators because we found out they also do granite and quartz. Kevin came out to measure and was very knowledgable and honest. We asked about granite and quartz and Kevin was able to tell us the con's and pro's of each one. I appreciate the fact he listened to my questions and was very helpful with his answers. We decided to go with sparkling white quartz countertops to match our recently painted white cabinets. On the day the order came, one of the slabs was not the correct size, so we called and talked to Brent, who was able to fix it that day and keep the install the same day. The installer, Lorenzo, was extremely professional and despite the delay, was able to install the countertops in two days. I was happy throughout the process, and the price was great and quite a bit lower than other places we had looked at. The counters look great and my wife is very happy with the results. From Kevin, to Brent, to Lorenzo it was a great experience and I will probably have them do my floors here in the future. I would definitely recommend Flooring Liquidators. read more

I had a friend call in advance for an estimate of new carpet. Mine you she came from Washington State, I came from Monterey Bay area. Appointment was set between 8-8:30 am.Two hours rolled by. Nothing. No call. Nothing. A call was made to them earlier, only to state they wanted a call back in fifteen minutes. Why? I made the next call. Only to get the run around from personnel in house. I asked to directly talk to manager. Not there. Supposedly I was talking to assistant mgr. He stated I/we didn't call back in fifteen minutes. Long story short, he admitted he didn't have contact with person in the field, and they, no one, was coming today for estimate. Completely unacceptable. No apologies, attempts for reschedule.
