This was the first time shopping at a Floor and Decor store (WOW)! The selection is huge, so huge it took me a few hours walking around to look at everything they carried. We are remodeling our master suite on our new house we just bought. And I only wanted Carrera Marble. Unfortunately, our tile installer said Marble isn't a good selection for a steam shower. So I had to buy porcelain tile for the walls and ceiling. But I could use Carrera marble tile for the shower pan floor and slab Carrera Mable for the bench seating. Prices are super reasonable and we were able to take it home that day. I will post pictures when it's all done next week. Super happy with all of my Selection. Had an absolutely horrible experience looking for solid hardwood floors here and ended up walking out after attempting to get help for 45 minutes. Two workers in the hardwood flooring area completely ignored us the whole 45 minutes we were there. We finally flagged down a 3rd person who attempted to help us. He warned us that he had only been working there for 3 weeks and would grab somebody if we had questions he couldn't answer. But as we asked questions, it became abundantly clear that he was content with making answers up instead of getting somebody who knew what they were talking about. He initially didn't know the difference between site-finished and pre-finished hardwood floor until we described it to him. He couldn't explain how to tell which floor options had bevels between the boards and at one point claimed that a specific example floor only "looked like it had bevels because it was hanging vertically for the display" (obviously a completely wrong answer as you could see the individual boards had bevels on them). At one point, he told us that if we wanted to a site-finish floor then we could install a pre-finished board, completely strip it, and then re-finish it with the finish we wanted. I understand he was new but he never once actually went to get anyone else and confidently stood by all of his answer. He should NOT have been interacting with customers on his own as he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. And the cherry on top is that this whole conversation occurred within earshot of two other employees who never once offered their input, help, or correction. The complete lack of customer service and flooring knowledge is unacceptable and we will never be going back to this location or any other. read more

I simply called to find out whether your store carried any Shaw flooring. The lackluster response from the dull, mousy woman was "What's a Shaw?" Then she said in a bored voice "We have some tile and wood products.". Then her voice dropped off to silence. She didn't even ask what room of the house we needed flooring for! What a lack of interest to invite someone to come shopping. . . Pretty odd since a friend of mine who purchased from your business told me your store was amazing and carried everything and more!!! I won't waste my time if someone like this might be the salesperson I have to deal with. Blah!!! read more

This is most incompetent company I have ever interacted with. I placed an order on a Saturday, and they promised it would be delivered Monday or Tuesday. Fast forward 12 days later, undelivered, even though there was never any doubt that they had the tiles in stock. They just can't be bothered to gather the items and ship it out. But that's only the beginning. Nobody answers the phone at the store. EVER. The only way to get ahold of them is to contact the national website, then have an extended conversation with their chat people, and then wait for a callback. I have done this a half dozen times, to the point where I have the text ready and just paste it in repeatedly until they call the store. When you are called back, the people sound confused. They can not tell you the status of your order, they cannot tell you if it has been picked up, if it has been scheduled for deliver, when it will be delivered, etc. They promise you it will get delivered in two days, and then two days you are back repeating the same cycle of BS. I highly recommend you consider a different place like Bedrosian before getting within a two mile radius of Flor and Decor. On a separate note, Floor and Decor's motto "you won't believe it until you see it!" is very appropriate. Don't believe anything they say until you see the tile on your doorstep! read more

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to take the time to give the Everett Floor and Decor a wonderful review after a remodel disaster. We bought a house that was built in 1969 with original everything. We have a wonderful flooring guy that recommended we check out floors at Floor and Decor. We had to rip out the original carpets out of the entire house, and picked out new LVP at Floor and Decor. We got it delivered and the flooring guys started and we were on our way - or so we thought. That night, after the entire first floor was completed, we got a call from the flooring company. They couldn't continue because so many pieces of the flooring were defective. They were breaking on him so often, there weren't pieces to continue. We immediately went to Floor and Decors site, and were devastated to learn that there were not any returns or refunds on open boxes. We were shocked and upset, we felt we lost thousands of dollars in just a few hours. The next day, I contacted the store manager of the Everett Floor and Decor. I explained what happened, and said that we need them to make an exception to their policy as there is obviously a defect in the flooring that we picked. Fast forward a few days, a variety of phones to us and our flooring contractors, and I am very happy to report that they completely resolved our issue! We were able to get a credit towards a different flooring, which is beautiful and the installers loved. It worked out perfectly, thanks to the mgmt of Floor and Decor for having understanding for our situation and taking ownership. One of the reasons why this took so long was we then had a dining room turned into a master bathroom. We were so impressed with the way the handled our flooring situation, we got ALL our tiles and supplies from the same location (and loved that as well). I highly recommend Floor and Decor for your remodeling needs. I am very impressed, and grateful, for how they were able to resolve our issue. read more

A special shout-out to Devante! He was very helpful in answering my questions about a particular wood flooring that was on sale. Although there were some issues with the quote and I had to make a few phone calls to the store in order to get through and speak to him, as well as make a 2nd trip to the store in order to finalize the payment, those were mostly operational issues. Devante returned my call when he said he would try to resolve the issue and he did call me back promptly. He also told me his working hours so that when I came in the 2nd trip, he could help me to place the order smoothly. Jacob at the cash register was also very helpful and patient when I had questions about my order quantity, payment and orders pick up. There was also another guy associate who had asked if I need any help while I was looking at the mosaic tile. I missed out on his name, but I think the Dec 18, Sunday morning shift crew all deserves praises for their hard work and helpfulness. read more

I was in Everett Floor and Decor and a salesperson wanted to show me marble counter tops though I asked for one of man made materials. He took me in the warehouse & started showing me marble slabs that were leaning in a crate. He told me "look" or "see" a slab so i leaned around him to look. My index & 3rd finger slipped over the edge of the first slab. I hadn't even gotten to see what he tried to show me when he grabbed 2 more slabs and slung them towards us. (They weigh a lot) My fingers were crushed between 3 marble slabs. I screamed, yanked them out, and passed out. Once awake and alert I hollered for ice. They brought it to me. The manager finally showed up he was nonchalant then rude, never gave us his name, asked for ours or offered to pay for an X-Ray etc & then tried to get us out of the store asap He didn't fill out an accident report. My friend drove me to edge of parking lot but I passed out again so we went back and made them call an ambulance. Through ER & Urgent care visits I ended up with crushed fingers, sprained wrist, pulled muscles up my arm and back etc. what a lousy, uncaring manager. Ordered vanity, mirror and cupboard back in March. Ordered because it was in stock. To be delivered with enough time as bathroom was getting redone. They called and asked if I would still like the vanity and mirror could arrive but cupboard was delayed "note the ordered as was in stock", heck yes they were already a week late and bathroom being assembled. Cupboard will arrive in June and we will give half off. That was the last I heard unless I contacted them. Then it was July then august. Now maybe December. PS. Also found out after talking to several people that they were still taking orders when they supposedly couldn't fulfill for 4-5 more months. Latest is December and I still had to call to find out. Worst Customer Service Ever! I ordered a edge trim this morning and the website said my order would be ready to pick up by 2pm. When I arrived after 3pm 2 employees were just standing around but didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. Finally they asked what I needed and went to look for my item. They came back and said well... Says we have stock but we don't! we might have it in by the 25th. I get stock can be off, not their fault. Then I went to grab a 50lb bag of thin set and asked if someone could help me lift it and another employee said we are all busy. The Everett store is large and had great selections of inventory,but i drove an hour to get there and you could barely get someone to help you I finally went to the front check out and asked if someone could help me and they got on the intercom requesting for an associate for help in the tile section ,no one showed up but i finally found someone that couldn't really help, he told us that we could get online and make a request to meet with a designer I was in there for over an hour just wandering around hoping someone would be able to help finally i couldn't take it anymore and left I really wasted a half a day Now you couldn't drag me into this store, if they cant find help just shut the place down! read more

I recently purchased flooring from Floor and Decor and had a great experience! I went in on a Saturday, expecting the process to take awhile. My husband and I did a little research before we arrived. We looked up their in stock options online and narrowed down what we wanted to look at. The store is HUGE! If you don't you in with a plan it could easily be overwhelming. We were able to easily locate what we wanted to look at and confirmed it was in fact what we wanted. We flagged down an employee to ask a few questions. Dan was the man! He was very helpful, had a great sense of humor, and stayed with us until our car was loaded with material. He was very knowledgeable about the product. This was one of the easiest trips to a home improvement store I've had in a long time. I can't wait to install the flooring and see how it looks! read more

I'm an interior designer and this was the easiest place to shop and purchase all my tile for my own personal projects in two different homes (Mill Creek & Phoenix) for master bath remodels. I found the vignette displays of showers, sinks, kitchens, etc. at the front of the store extremely helpful to visualize the look I wanted. I need to ponder my options and they have slant boards where I can place all my tile samples together to see how they relate. I love that I can browse at leisure and not feel pressured by salespeople, but when I needed help I could easily find someone to check stock or lift heavy tile boxes. When I had technical or design questions Maddie, the on-site designer in the Everett store, was super friendly and always knew the answer and could suggest less costly options. It was also easy for me to pay for the order and have my contractor pick it up with his truck at a later date. This saved me some heavy lifting. It's also easy to return samples and excess tile after the job. I could shop weekends and evenings which was very convenient and look at their website that shows their selection and inventory count at each store. Advice to homeowners: if you are not an interior designer you may feel overwhelmed looking at all the tile options. Just make an appointment with the free staff designer and let her figure out the best options or hire an independent designer to select the tile. read more

I went to Floor and Decor a couple weeks ago because I needed a ceramic tile piece to replace a broken section in my outdoor patio table. I had looked elsewhere but couldn't find anything even close but was recommended I go here. Not only did they have an amazing selection but they were able to cut a piece to size for me while I waited. The assistant store manager helped me, I believe her name was Mel - sorry I meant to write a review when I got home and forgot! She helped me and treated me as if I was buying product for a major remodel instead of a $20 piece of tile and I appreciated the excellent customer service. I do plan to return when I do need to do some upgrades, they have a great selection of just about anything you need from flooring to siding and everything in between. Go check them out! read more

Nice selection of flooring. Mostly a flooring/ Tile store with some outdoor stone facia options. However, the staff there seems to know very little about their products, where to find items in the store, how to install or how to use the point of sale (POS) system. The staff seems friendly enough in general. It might be that the training is lacking or? I did get a little snottiness from a couple of them but nothing too severe. Probably hard to get really qualified people to work for minimum wage? For example, I had asked for a hole saw and three employees didn't know what I was talking about. I walked around the tool area and found it in a couple minutes. The staff regularly asked if I needed help but generally weren't able to give much help. I've been there a couple of times in the last few days and got through check out slowly the first time. The cashier seemed very nervous and not sure of herself. The last time a lady was trying to return a couple of items while there was about 5 employees chatting with each other in the area. The poor confused cashier kept asking for help because she didn't know how to do the return. I waited behind one person while only one check out lane was open and with employees standing around for over 5 minutes. Then I had to walk out without a purchase. Home Depot and Lowe's seem to get better staffing but they aren't very good either. Best cashier is self service at Home Depot. I wish Floor and Decor had self service lanes. Returns should not be done at check out. Send them to the return counter. It's nice having a big flooring retailer at the Everett Mall in the old White Front/ Bon Marche/ Macy's space next to I-5 access. Nice location with a decent loading area and enough parking. Good variety of tools and products with nice displays. However they need to get check out fixed. Time is money. If I shop there it's for a job which I need to get to. I can always go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Not near the same selection of flooring but I can get in and out quickly. Floor & Decor doesn't have everything you need for stone facia either. I can't buy stucco lath there. That's another trip to Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

Ugh. I love the amount of selection this place has but the lack of customer service is garbage. I get it, every one is short staff, However, I am still a consumer looking to spend a good amount of money here. That being said, I made an appointment for 5 pm on Sunday for a design consult. Keep in mind, this is the only day and time that they even had anything open. We walked in before our time and made our way over to the desk where it said to go. No one was there yet so we decided to walk around and look a bit and keep an eye out for someone that looked like they would be headed to that direction for our appointment. Que at least 10-15 after 5, I saw a man walk over. We made our way back over to him and waited for him to finish his phone call. I let him know that we were there for a design consult for our kitchen and possibly bathroom. The first words out of this mans mouth were: "Oh you made an appointment, we close at 6, so that is a real time crunch." Um. What. The. Hell. Don't even make it a possibility for an appointment at 5 if you close at 6. And also, SIR YOU WERE LATE, NOT US. I was shut down by this point. We had an idea of what we wanted, the guy could have been less interested in anything we had to say other than making us feel like he really didn't want to be helping us because, you know, we still had 45 mins before you close *giant eye roll* We found the tile we wanted which we had in mind before this ass tried to "help" us. It is out of stock. Do you think that he offered to help or order it? Nope because 45 mins, not enough time? At any rate, I think that we will be making the substantial purchase of our tile else where since floor and décor doesn't seem to give a rats ass. read more

I bought ONDA Black Matte Tiles. Upon opening the boxes with my tile installer, we found many flawed tiles and couldn't proceed until we got good tiles. Went to Everett from Stanwood to exchange them. After over an hour of searching through many boxes went up to the front to leave. The manager on 4/6/2023 @ 1:30 Brian(?) wearing a face mask was so rude. Mind you I had already gotten approval to do it, he wanted me to bring in the exchange tiles, I said I want help with that. He said I don't see anything wrong with these tiles, as he is looking them over. He even argued that the packing glue was fine and that there was no problem. I said do you think I drove here from Stanwood, sat in the tile section for over an hour sorting thought many boxes of tiles because I'm making up a story? What would I gain from doing that. I told him that he was the worst manager ever and that I don't appreciate his tone, accusation of what he is implying. Further more I don't care to go through any more tiles because you don't see anything wrong. I even requested to speak with another manage but no, I told him that tile installer told me return these for un flawed tiles as they are matte and will show every imperfection. I want to complain to the corporate higher ups but cant find a way to do it, because their is no complaint number and they don't answer the phone. This manager shouldn't be a manager, he clearly doesn't care at all about customers, or the business. I will not shop here anymore if this corporation doesn't reach out. I'm beyond mad about the treatment, inconvenience and the fact that I was treated like a criminal. This store was not accommodating and acted like I was a problem. The problem was the tiles come from Spain, they are not packed with the proper material to stop them from rubbing on each other causing marks that do not rub out. read more

Great floor salesmen and cashiers, beautiful showroom, but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our experience with the Everett location was a nightmare. Broken promises, shady fees, and scapegoating excuses. Their contractor referral service generated an installation bid over four thousand dollars higher than the contractor we actually went with. Going with one of their competitors would have saved us time, money, and immeasurable stress. If you value your sanity, go with Home Advisor for a referral and ANYONE else for the actual materials. read more

Came here looking for tiles, they have a good selection with prices a bit higher than Home Depot. Problem is it's hard to grab a knowledgeable associate on the floor. Spent over an hour there for a few boxes of tiles but half of the time was for waiting and tracking down someone who can help. Many associates are not as knowledgeable about their products and tiles in general so they'd need to call someone else and tell you to wait... I guess my advice is that do not come hurry if u r in a hurry and if you've got someone knowledgeable helping you do not let him/her go or else you may be in a long wait again. read more

It often takes over an hour to get your order loaded. The warehouse staff moves slow and avoids contact with the customers. I was waiting over an hour for a counter top to be loaded when the forklift operator took a 15 minute smoke break at 8:15am. Poor customer service. read more

We purchased 7 boxes of peel-and-stick reclaimed lumber for installation on our living room wall. This product has a 20 year manufacturer warranty. Eight to ten hours after installing per directions, most pieces fell off the wall. Four stuck together and were not usable anymore. We took the receipt, and some photos to the Everett Mall Way store to ask for for replacement boards, under warranty. The store manager told us we would have to pay for a certified flooring installer to come to our home and inspect the installation before he would honor the warranty. One of the first two people we spoke to told us the associate who sold us the prishould have recommended using liquid nails prior to installation. The store manager was very short with us, told us it was our fault that we obviously didn't install it correctly and that it "sounds like you need to buy a new box", more than once. He was a total douchebag. Find another place to buy your flooring and decor. They don't stand behind their products. Update: Patricia at Customer Care corporate called and apologized for this issue requiring escalation. She hooked us up with an additional box of product, free of charge. My projects were my kitchen wall above my stove and in my bathroom to create a walk in shower. I enlisted the aid of their consultant which was a big help, she guided me through my process of many selections down to final choice. They even provided a design template for me to give to my contractor for the walk in shower. Yippee! I got a response from management but it's only lip service because the customer service keeps getting worse. Employees walk past you without making eye contact. Employees don't know the product. Special orders rarely arrive on time and when they finally do you'll spend a LOT of time waiting for the warehouse staff to locate the product and load it into your truck. It's hard to believe that the customer service can get any worse but I won't put it past them. read more

I returned to this store a few days after my last visit ..this time for my own purchase. My friend opted not to use the tile she bought and I bought it from her and needed 17 more boxes for our project. I thought I would order online and pickup but it was inconvenient for me to come back the next day. For this reason we opted to come back to the store. I already knew there was more than enough boxes in stock and since we couldn't find any employees on the floor to help us I took a picture with the SKU to the lone cashier. He seemed overwhelmed because at least 2 separate customers needed assistance. For us he wasn't even sure we could get our order without knowing if enough in stock etc. Basically he made it seem like it was a hardship we expected to walk in and buy tile. Did he say this? No but based on our interaction this is how I felt. Whatever. It's a discount flooring store and my usual place didn't have this tile available. We waited for 5 minutes and nobody came to help so my hubby got a cart and loaded it himself. I wasn't sure he could do it because at my last visit the associate took care of everything for her. Well this was the best option and no issue for hubby to load it...he was pretty surprised and frustrated that nobody still had come to help us. It wasn't until we had paid and were exiting that someone did come. All the cashier kept repeating is that this always happens on Sundays. Well Saturday and Sunday would be popular times to shop so maybe whoever does the schedules should think about peak shopping times. I likely won't have a reason to return to this store so it's unfair to say I won't be back but I will definitely be connecting first with my usual place for any supplies needed for the project as they've always gone above and beyond for us in the customer service department. read more

We have been here twice to get tile for our remodel project. We were helped both times by the tile manager. I forget her name, but she's fantastic! She helped us think out of the box and we are thrilled with our choices. The prices and selection are outstanding. The only reason for 4 stars is not really the store's fault. I know it's a huge store with high ceilings, but there were dozens of customers in there without masks. This is hardly the time for such carelessness. The store can't be the police on this, but perhaps more signage and at least requesting unmasked customers to put on a mask would help. Lots of places have masks at the door. I'd include a sign, "Thanks for shopping with us. Please take a mask and wear it if you've forgotten." read more

OK, Complete rewrite of my earlier review. Initial order was not ready on the day it was supposed to be but no problem I just picked it up the next day. Pickup was easy and relatively quick, I helped the guy unload the tile into the car and as we finished up he mentioned that if any tile was broken just bring it back and they would replace it, seemed a little strange at the time but became more obvious once I got home. I unloaded the car and once I got to the last box which was the first box loaded by the store staff, I could tell right away that a tile was broken, you could hear in grinding as I picked up the box. Luckily it was just a corner on one end and as I will be cutting some tiles no issue, but now I know why he mentioned broken tiles. On to my second order, this one emailed as ready to pickup within two hours of placing the order, I got to the pickup area and they were just finishing loading one guy with one person waiting, I went in and they told me they had one in front of me to load first, no big deal. 45 minutes later we were both still waiting, they finally bought his order out (all 6 boxes) then mine, loaded up and headed home. Unloaded at home and that is when I noticed that the Vinyl plank cutter I had purchased had a discount sticker applied to the box, it had a $20 discount as it was open but noted all parts in box. I looked for the email receipt they said I would get but I have not received it yet (not for the first order either) I did get an email confirming order pick up. I checked Paypal to see if I had received a credit...Nope. Opened the box and found that their were parts missing and I would not be able to use the cutter, so tomorrow it is another hour drive to the store to return it. On a positive note, they do monitor the reviews and did reach out to me about the delay in the first order, as I am doing this in my own home its not a huge deal with a day or two delay, but I bet these issues would drive a contractor nuts. 1)To start off, the first time we went to the store to look for tiles we were openly welcomed. As we started looking through for suitable products for our build we realized it would be much harder than we initially expected.  This is because of the vast amount of variety available at the store. Though this is not why we sere impressed. We were impressed because a young lady named Domonic (DOM for short ) who had assisted us while we were there. Due to there being 2 sections for our project we have two different very large surfaces to cover therefore we needed double pricing for every item we were interested in. This young lady without a chuckle of dismay had first broken down our option according to our budget (giving details on clearance products, on sale, most popular ect). She did not stop there, she had gone with us to every tile we were interested in, checked the price of each tile, gave us 2 different prices for the different square footage amounts, checked the availability of everything for us, calculated if it was enough for our project and gave us advice on what would be best suitable for our project. She was very knowledgeable and saved us time by avoiding products which were out of our budget or not the proper material for our project. She assisted us from start to checkout while keeping a smile on our face and showed us genuine interest in helping us. We were very taken back by her excellent attitude even though our requests were repetitive she kept her patience with us and went above and beyond our expectations. 2)We were buying for a commercial project which meant buying by the pallets. It was all tiles but it was different types of tiles for different aspects of the project which meant multiple pallets, and more than one trip to the store. After unloading our last pallet we realized there was a specific type of tile missing. We had our receipt so we went back to the store to address the issue error. Even though their computer had said everything was as it should be the manager SAMM took her time to hear us out. Like mentioned before the tiles were already sold and taken back to our business as confirmed by the computer. Regardless SAMM was patient with us and decided to give us the benefit of doubt. After we explained to her our dilemma (paying for the product and not receiving the product we paid for due to input error ) rather than blindly trusting data provided to her by the computer she dug deeper and investigated the situation. More surprisingly, before she found the actual error she had already confirmed to us that we would receive our product and it was because she trusted us as customers. She felt we were telling her the truth ( which we were ) and decided to give us the missing tiles anyways. I was pleased to know that this business priorities integrity as our business does as well.  Us knowing we did not receive our tiles and the computer suggesting otherwise might have escalated things and may have made it a negative experience down the line. Since trying to prove the computer input was false would be an uphill battle. I am glad to have had the floor Manager SAMM there for me that day and have faith in humanity, see through the misunderstanding and help us resolve the issue. I wish more businesses did this. After loading the tiles we figure out it was an input error which meant both customer and business were right in their standing positions. We were just glad to have a chance to speak out peace versus blind trust in technology and turned away at the door. THANK YOU !!!! 3)It doesn't end here, we had another employee assist us that day. This was and older gentleman named DAN. He had been extremely patient with us with us throughout this whole process of going back and forth while we were dealing with the situation discussed above. Due to the same computer error he was loaded the wrong boxes of tiles which we turned away once they arrived to our vehicle. This meant he would have to go back inside, double check everything and bring us a new batch of tiles. Something no one would want to be dealing with on a hot summer day. Dan on the other hand did not hesitate or show any form of irritation even know we knew our request might have been bothersome at another store.  Dan was very persistent like Samm and kept double checking everything for us to make this an excellent exercise for us. He was a big reason to us finding a resolution to our previous dilemma. He was going in and out trying to find the best solution for as and did not stop till he found the source of the problem. He assisted us by loading the tiles (refused to take our assistance and did it all himself. We felt bad just standing and watching but he insisted on doing it this way which I had to respect). He was very respectful to us and we really felt valued as customers. We left with what we had ordered, with great help, and no conflicts. We wouldn't have asked for a better exercise. read more

Very poor customer service from salespeople. We drove 45 minutes to get to this store because of a greta experience purchasing hardwood floors for a home in SLC. So disapointed that it took 20 minutes just to find someone who would help us select flooring. That person new very little about the quality of hardwood flooring, or how it compares in engineered hardwood. We left disapointed and went to Great Floors in Bellevue and a helpful and knowledgeable sales person was able to help us select flooring in just 2 minutes. read more
