Ok 2 stars because this store was a mess the day I shopped there. I was so overwhelmed that I…read moredecided to just get one thing and then leave. I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

The Lynnwood HomeGoods is a cut above the rest, especially compared to the nearby Woodinville and…read moreBellevue locations. It's better stocked and organized, making it a more enjoyable shopping experience. The prices and quality here are typically better than Amazon, particularly for organizing items. I find that the quality of bedsheets here are a better deal when compared to Costco. Storage boxes, garbage bins, high thread count bedsheets, and party supplies are all great deals and have a lot of personality. If you're looking for actual furniture or cooking pans, look to purchase somewhere else with a good return policy (like Costco or Amazon). I generally only buy home accents from HomeGoods. The checkout staff are generally pretty friendly, which adds to the positive shopping experience. If you're looking for unique, quality items at great prices, check out the Lynnwood HomeGoods over Woodinville or Bellevue.

So, it required a special order. When it came in, Chris helped me check it out, and load it. Modern Home Furniture salesmen don't work on commission, which I'm sure helps to keep the prices down I would recommend checking this store out when shopping for furniture!

We moved into our new home on a budget a few months ago, so when we found the Ashley 5-piece Emilia…read moreset, we fell in LOVE with this set. Still, we were immediately disappointed shortly after to realize that if we were to purchase it directly through Ashley Furniture, the couch, ottoman, and delivery would cost over $6,000, which is more than we could justify spending after buying a house. Then, last week, I came across an ad on Facebook from Modern Home Furniture, showing the exact couch I'd fallen in love with, but for only $2,695. I wondered, what's the catch? Is it used or damaged? It seemed too good to be true, so I went to the store, skeptical but curious. The owners were incredibly kind and explained that they could offer these prices because of their reduced overhead. Reassured, I decided to go for it and ordered the couch. They initially told me it would take 2-3 weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised when they called only five days later to schedule delivery for that weekend, meaning my couch arrived within just one week from purchase. The delivery team was great; they set up the couch, removed all the packaging, and left everything looking perfect. As promised, the sofa came with tags from Ashley Furniture and all the warranty information. My experience was fantastic, and it's disappointing to see some negative reviews because I've been telling all my friends and family about this incredible find. I got my dream couch for half the cost, and after seeing it, my parents are ordering one, too! Thank you, Modern Home Furniture. We'll be back!

I stopped in to buy some Easter basket items and picked up a "Make It Real fashion sketchbook". I…read moredidn't realize the one I grabbed was missing a price tag, but similar items were reasonably priced. At checkout, the cashier asked the manager to confirm the price. Instead of walking over to look at the product--despite being only about 12 feet away--he glanced from a distance, checked his phone for a moment, and told her it was $13.99. That didn't sit right with me, so after paying, Something didn't feel right so I went back to check the shelf myself. The exact same item was clearly marked $5.79. I brought the correctly priced item and photos to the manager. He offered no apology and simply said the online price he saw was higher. When I returned to the register to correct the purchase, he brushed it off again, saying the item "must have been marked wrong." The issue isn't just the price difference--it's the lack of effort and accountability. The manager didn't take a moment to walk over and verify the product, didn't check the shelf, and didn't seem concerned about overcharging a customer by more than double. Not everyone can absorb that kind of mistake, and customers shouldn't have to double-check basic accuracy. Do better. Customers trust matters, and so does taking the time to get it right. Customers should trust the store to be accurate and fair the first time.

I will never shop at this store and actively encourage anyone to avoid it as well…read more My family has lived in this area my whole life, and has shopped at this target for as long as I can remember. My Mom loved this store and would go there on average once a week if not more. She would ALWAYS leave with a cart full of bags, despite usually only going in for a couple things. It was normal to see the receipts total be in 300-600 dollar range, especially after she became a grandma and was frequenting the store for my own kids. Being in my mid 30's now, thats at least 30 years of this being her main department store for clothes, toys, home furnishings, electronics, and even groceries when they added them. After rough calculations on very conservative estimates on how much she spent there (400 per month × 12 months × 30 years), at MINIMUM this woman has spent just shy of $150,000 at this single store. My Mother is now in her mid 60's, she is still working in the same place as she has my entire life. She makes very good money after working there for 40 years. Ive never seen this woman break any law or harm a fly. Today as she was leaving target, after spending a couple hundred dollars, she was stopped by 2 policeman who proceeded to take her back inside to a back room. They tell her they have video of her from 2 months ago where she had apparently gone through the self checkout, but did not ring up the items in her arms and walked out without paying for them. My mother, in tears, has no idea what was going on,asks to see the video to try and understand what happened. They refuse to show her any evidence at all, and say she can see it in court. On top of that they ban her from the store for a year, although I doubt she would have ever gone back. She has been in tears for hours since she got home because of this. As a prior business owner myself, I am appalled at the way the store handled this. Even if something happened where she mistakenly walked out without paying for something, as someone who is spending thousands of dollars a year or more there, why not just confront her and show the evidence and ask her to pay for it? She more than gladly would have if that happened. I'm beyond disappointed and upset at target, the store management, and Everett PD for the unprofessionalism and treatment of a lifelong customer. Save yourself the time and money and never go here, their stuff is overpriced anyways in my opinion. And a bull court case is never worth it.
