Without a doubt they have the best selection in flooring but the have the worst people working there. They are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I called prior to coming in to see if i can make a return without my receipt and I was told yes as long as I had my bank statement. I came in with my bank statement as I was told and confirmed I would be able to make the return, and Alondra told me with the rudest of attitudes that it couldn't be done. These people are far from helpful and need major customer service skills. Such a shame that such a great store has horrible people running the store. read more

Just left Floor and Decor in Downey. Picked up an order but honestly I wished I cancelled. Such a rude staff. One lady in particular. Didn't have a name tag so I didn't get a name but she had a sleeve tattoo and dark hair. She was unnecessarily rude. No concept of customer service. No "please," no "thank you." Just barking orders at customers. If you want us to back our cars into the parking space, all you have to do is ask...politely. It costs you nothing to be polite. Also, I get you're scared of the current pandemic, but if I'm 40 feet away from you, waiting on you to get my order, don't try and force me to wait in my car. I'm nowhere near you, and there's already a giant saying telling me to practice social distance. I don't need you making a point to force me to wait in my car, especially when I drove here with my work crew. If I want to stand outside my car and 15ft away from the next human being, I can do that. I don't need your permission. If you're this mad about having to work through this pandemic, I feel for you. I wish I could stay home to. But that still does not give you the right to be a jerk with people. If you're having a bad day, go home. There's plenty of employees standing around or in the case of the two guys in front of your store - sitting around. Give one of them your clipboard and let the customers do business without your negative attitude. read more

The initial time I went inside the store, I was referred to the store's pro services. At this point, the manager, Edwin contacted me and informed me that he will be helping me with my project. Everything was going smooth, and Edwin was very helpful in ordering the materials I needed. Today, I called the store inquiring to order stair nose pieces which I had forgotten. This is the point where this good experience has been immediately destroyed by Diane's unwillingness to help. She insisted that pro services was closed and I needed to call back and refused to check their system for the items I wanted to look for. She repeatedly placed me on hold and never got back on the phone. Based on what I could hear, it appears that she was engaged in a personal conversation with someone else prior to me calling. I then called their Fullerton store and Marissa was able to use the sku number and determined that this item will be a special order. This simple task could've been handled by Diane but her personal conversation was far more important to her than assisting a customer. This type of customer service is extremely embarrassing for this franchise, having someone lacking motivation and the drive for the business. read more

I had a very good experience when I visited floor and decor. The young man Alan that was helping me was very courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. I was looking for a specific type of stone that I was unable to find at other stores and he found it with ease. He was adamant about finding it and he did. He NEVER displayed any signs of frustration or irritation like I had previously received from other stores. THANK YOU ALAN FOR YOUR PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Alexis helped us pick out a new counter top for the bathroom. She even took us to the back warehouse so we could see ALL of the white countertop slabs to make sure we got the nicest one. She also made sure we didn't leave without a sealer for our countertop. She was so nice, very professional, and the whole experience was so much easier than we imagined it would be! I've spent weeks search high and low for the "just right" tile for my bathroom renovation. I was frustrated by search. Not only did Pablo help me find coordinating tile and backsplash, we took it to the imagination station and laid out several pieces...its was perfect! Not to mention, about 40% less than specialty tile shops. Aaaaand, I can return any extra pieces for up to 90 days. I'm completely satisfied with my experience at Floor and Tile. Can't wait to enjoy the finished product. Thank you Pablo! read more

The guy who says he's the store manager (bald guy) is so rude! He has the worst attitude and is so unhelpful. We have been here twice and both times had horrible experiences with him. Today, an employee was trying to talk to him and he ignored her. This time, though, I spoke up and called him on it and told him he was rude and was rude last time. He was trying to tell me I couldn't return something I bought from another location but couldn't show me that policy in writing. He just rolled his eyes and walked away and told the employee "just do it because she's difficult". This in not managerial behavior. I will be going to FV or HB in the future. read more

I came to Floor & Decor on a whim with my girlfriend to window shop for a way to renovate our outdated bathroom. We weren't sure of what we were really looking for until we got some direction from an associate on the floor. Johnny was very knowledgeable and helped to give us a clear direction on what we didn't even know we wanted. It was also nice that floor & decor had so many options. The associates were very nice and the store was well kept. We will definitely be back for future purchases, and were very satisfied with the help we received from the associate. read more

The price is ok but they use a 3rd party online order which is not very flexible and on line features are not user friendly. But I will go back for future projects too. read more

Great customer service. I'm sure it helped that I went on a weekday when they weren't as busy but I love that salespeople come and ask if they can help you find something (so much different than Home Depot where you have to chase people down). The displays are large so that you can better visualize the items. Special thanks to Oscar who was especially helpful. read more

On Wednesday I went to floor and decor in Carson since it's closer to my house. So me and my wife was there for over an hour looking at floors for our house and no one ever came to us and ask if we needed help. So I ask couple of people that I wanted to take 11 boxes of laminate their response was grab a cart and load them it's faster. So I ask how long will it take you to put in my truck with the palette they said bout 15 to 30 minutes. When I said ok then they said 45 to 1hr. So we got mad and left. So me and my wife decided to go to Downey and try it out. Once we were inside BRENT greet us then took care of me. All I got to say is that BRENT did an excellent job. Downey location will be my main store. Keep up the good job BRENT read more

When I went to the store for the first time, I met Brent. Even though it was near closing time , he was very helpful & patient. He didn't give me the feeling that he needed to go home quickly. And he is very knowledgeable. He shared his personal experience with me when I tried to decide what products to buy. He also gave me a sense of confidence in his explanations. His manner is very pleasant. I ended up buying all tiles & wood flooring that I needed for my entire house from this store . I already gave his names to a few of my friends who are considering renovating their home. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is buying tiles or wood flooring . I believe his name is Brent Russell. read more

First and foremost let me thank store employee Antonio ( Tony ). He made our visit a pleasant experience. He was professional and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond helping us with our selection for our tile. Antonio Made sure the following day that he would be available to help us pick up our tile. Antonio should be considered for at least a store leader. He's a great asset to your store. This store surprised the Hell out of me. My wife had been trying to get me to shop here when ever we had a project for tile work at home. I always told her they were probably over priced. I finally gave in when we had to redo our bathroom. To my surprised the prices were way better than the tile outlets. We shopped for 3 plus hours getting exactly what we needed for our bathroom. The total cost was way cheaper then I could have imagined. We will always shop here for our tile projects from now on. Thanks Floor and Decor. read more

We have scoured Los Angeles for a good tile store with lots of selection and great prices. Come here first!!!!!The store itself gets 5 stars for selection, cleanliness, price and ease of shopping. However, we wish we could give them 10 stars because of the customer service. We made our final decision to buy 275 square ft of tile right at closing. Everyone on the staff helped us calculate, check out, haul, and load the tile. The entire staff was awesome and this store has hired knowledgable, friendly employees. A special thanks to Alondra, Josey, and Mario--those are the names we caught, but there were 2 other helpful guys as well! read more

I wanted to tile the down stairs of my house for some time now .A few people told me to go to state collage blvd where there is probably 100 stores. what a waste of time. I went to floor & decor today in downey and was amazed at how professional the employees are there. I got real lucky and had the pleasure of getting to work with nader ( his name could be spelled wrong ) if so I apologize. he walked me through the whole process. figured out how much quick set and grout I needed, was really knowledgeable when it came to all the products I needed.its nice to go somewhere and work with somebody like nadir . I ended up buying 850 square feet of tile . and picked up everything else I needed. there was no pressure, he was not trtying to sell me stuff I did not need. they do not work off commission so they are not sweating you there. because I had close to 5000 lbs of material I had to make 2 trips that where I ran into Miguel and Elliot . they went above and beyond helping me load everything. I tried to give them a 10 dollar tip for the help and he told me to keep it they were just doing their job. ( can you believe that ) so, for whoever reads this don't waste you time going to state collage blvd, lowes or home depot this is the place, oh yea one more thing , at state collage I found some tile made in china 1.59 sq foot this place had made in the usa for the same price it feels good buying a product made in the usa thank you floor and decor team . read more

My husband and I visited this store and we were both so impressed with the level of service we received. We had been on the freeway for an hour to get to this store and my husband was a bit grouchy. We were greeted by Clint and we told him we were looking around. The store is huge so we thought we'd just look around first. He told us where to look based on us telling him our bathroom was why we were looking. So we looked around in that area. In the meantime, another employee named Alfredo, came by to offer assistance. He let us know he was available if we needed him. And then we looked around a bit more and yet another employee named Jay came to help us. He gave us information on the flooring we eventually chose. He even gave my husband a tutorial on the installation to help make that part easier. So the treatment we received was so helpful and friendly, I chose to drive an hour again to purchase the tile for our shower. Clint and Jay were both there and they both welcomed me back. I felt so good. They see a lot of people and they remembered me. I highly recommend this store. They were helpful and made me feel like a friend. Also the products we purchased were priced great and good quality. They have a huge selection and everything you need to complete your project. Just go there. You will not be disappointed. read more
