I went tonight and bought 500 bucks worth of flooring. I am in love with the flooring and the closeout price. I am still upset at the lack of customer service we received. We asked for help and didn't get any. 2 young men came over and didn't offer to assist us in any way even when we asked. One guy was such a jerk. I even told the front cashier who did not care. I hope to never have to go back. Don't expect help if you go here. Buttheads only. read more

If you are looking for competetively priced tile or flooring, this is your place. They have a great selection and the prices are cheap. However, if you think you may need to return any product, their policy is not consumer friendly. Thirty days for a return, restocking fees, etc. Furthernore, when I called about what I thnik is a flaw in my flooring that is under a lifetime guarantee, they will not come look at it. It is up to me to find a hardwood floor expert to look at it and then send his findings to Floor and Decor to determine if they will cover it. I called several flooring professionals, all of whom told me that it would cost about $300 for them to come out, and that they have never heard of F&D covering anything...that I will be out the money with no remedy. They all said not to waste my money. I am stuck with a messed up floor. I would probably shop here again for their cheap prices and great selection, but I know not to expect much in the way of service. read more

TERRIBLE customer service!! We found a beautiful floor there and purchased it, not upset about that. However, we were sold "matching" bullnose pieces that DID NOT match. When we went back in, our sales guy told us we would need to speak with the sales rep of the floor vendor, and the manager said that they hate the company that supplies the bullnose pieces. We were told that the colors never match and to deal with it... $5k for floors without install and our problem?! No way!! Save yourself and go to Lumber Liquidators. They were able to match the bullnose pieces with the floor and saved the day. Sorry F&D but black and red are NOT the same color and YES you should care about your customers even after the sale!!!!!!! read more

We decided to stop by here after a contractor who was doing a quote for a basement refinish recommended this place for our kitchen back splash. Being that we are new to the area, he mentioned it was the place he recommended to all his clients since it has the best prices. You have to be careful with the tile you buy there as not all of them are the same color in the same stack, it's almost like you're buying from a factory store that might have some factory seconds. Nobody really helped us and they were out of carts (how do you run out of carts?) so we had to carry several boxes of tile ourselves to the front. Make sure you buy all your inventory (plus some) with room to spare as if you go back, they might not have any more inventory of what you bought and you'll be SOL. After we had our back splash to our kitchen installed with the tile we bought from Floor and Decor, I had looked on the Home Depot website and they had 10x more tile selection than Floor and Decor. Talk about buyers remorse. The prices at Home Depot are comparable, if not cheaper, then Floor and Decor. So we didn't really save any money... but more importantly, I wish I would have gone to Home Depot online to check their tile out first before I bought at Floor and Decor because they have such a huge selection and even had the tile I was looking for. I feel like I settled with my tile and not that happy as what I could have been if I went somewhere else.. F&D will take back any tile that hasn't been cut or used (even if it's not in the plastic). read more

Remodeling our home and bought some great looking laminate flooring here. Long story short, the flooring didn't work out. Wasn't the fault of F&D but they were willing to listen to the issues we were having. Carlos, the store manager, was polite and informative. We were able to return our items after discussing our issues- they want you to be happy about what you're getting. We will absolutely return to F&D for our future needs. read more

Every time I go into this store everyone is super helpful! Today I was about to breakdown trying to figure out my house remodel and went into floor and decor, immediately it eased my stress. Brandin was incredibly helpful. I told him exactly what I needed and he immediately helped me. Also being pregnant, he lifted and pushed everything for me! I purchased stair treads and risers from F&D and when I got them home realized 3 of the bamboo treads were damaged. 2 were split and the corners on two were damaged. I was told to put them back and get new ones. Why restock damaged junk ? That's why I had to drive an 84 mile round trip because there policy is to put damaged merchandise beck in inventory to be sold anyway ? I also returned all of the risers because it's basically melamine shelving that costs 7.99 at either Lowe's or Home Depot. But F&D charges 17.99 each ! When I returned the risers I had my Paper receipt and asked for the refund in cash, they refused. Both Lowes and HomeDepot gave cash back today on materials that were returned,I'm also disappointed that they do not offer Veterans discounts or Disabled Vet Discounts at all. Lesson learned. I initially spent 1,400 $. A discount would have been nice. Most likely not buyIng from Floor and Decor again. read more

Prices and selection, when compared to Lowe's or Home Depot are pretty great. My contractor called me late yesterday evening explaining he may not be able to install the tile I purchased. It was a chevron pattern and he was concerned about keeping straight lines. I quickly returned to Floor and Decor to select a different tile, only having about 40 minutes to be in and out. Upon becoming frustrated when I learned at the cash register that F&D did not have the tile I wanted in stock, the cashier suggested I be assisted by the Décor Associate, Richard. I am so grateful for this recommendation because Richard was awesome!!! He not only directed me to tiles that would work nicely with my space, which were in stock, he explained why my contactor was concerned about installing the original tile I had purchased (even provided an example). His expertise, knowledge, and patience were outstanding. I plan on selling my newly renovated condo in the next 6 months or so. When I buy my new house, I will be coming back to Floor and Decor to ask for Richard for assistance with selecting tile and flooring options. read more

Level of incompetence in the customer pick up dock is impressive. We spent all afternoon there shopping and they were nice and helpful overall ( thus 3 stars)and was told to pick up in 45 mins - 60 minutes.... but to be patient. Fair-we asked if they could call us as we ran errands. 2 hours later, no call so we headed back and 2-3 guys sort of bumbling through our order with wrong items, wrong quantity and another full hour to get the correct items and loaded. There has to be a better system as we can't be the first customer to deal with this. read more

Floor and Decor is Very Very difficult to work with if you need to special order anything. They will not take your credit card info. over the phone. They make you come to the store to do the order. Also, once you do the special order if you have it delivered to your home it takes 21 days so if you are willing to make yet another trip to pick up your order you can get it in 7 days. The customer service female I spoke with at their toll free number was very rude and didn't really care to help me. I will be looking to purchase my flooring somewhere else in the future. read more

The (commissioned) sales people are fairly knowledgable on installation issues and questions. Got a "heartfelt" email response from a Floor & Decor corporate manager letting me know how sorry she was about our experience and that she spoke with the local store manager who was very anxious to contact me personally to discuss the issues we had with their store. I replied thanking her and providing our contact information. Never heard from the store manager. I followed up several weeks later letting the corporate manager know that we never heard from the store manager and she also never replied again. BEWARE - my guess is that they asked for our contact information so they could look up our transaction in the system to see exactly who wrote about them. if anyone contacts you from a business you are unhappy with DON'T give them your number - ask for their number if you want to talk with them. So nothing has changed - only confirmed! Unless you can deal with sub-par travertine and absolutely terrible customer service - don's shop here. read more

I purchased the perfect gray/brown/taupe LVP flooring at Floor and Decor. If you are looking for the perfect grayish floor this is it. It does not have a blue or pink undertone. It has a green undertone so it compliments all wood tones and looks amazing with brown or black furniture. It is Casa Morerna Primo Heirloom Oak. It is 4mm thick with a lifetime residential wear rating. I had mine professionally installed over a brand new (additional 5/8 inch) plywood subfloor. I have two dogs and four cats so I have a lot of pet friendly (dark) furniture so I didn't want to put in a brown floor and be drowning in brown and this floor color is perfect. If you want a floor color that will get along with all the different furniture that you may have but still hide the dirt than this is the one. Floor and Decor rocks! They were very patient with me while I tested out nearly every piece of gray flooring that they have. read more

We are adding a master bathroom in our house and looked for Denver discount tile stores. We drove an hour to the Arvada Floor and Decor store and were not disappointed! They had all the tile I looked at online in stock. We ended buying $600 worth of shower wall and floor tile plus decorative tile for caddy inserts. We will definitely be back! read more

While in the midst of a home remodel, I found the exact same tile at F&D for half the cost of what I was being charged at a fancy tile boutique. Now mind you, I live 3 hours to the west of Denver so it is no small affair to go "shop" for tile. From the moment I walked in to the store, on a Saturday, I was eagerly greeted by a whole host of young employees that were genuine in their desire to help me. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable of their products and where to find them. Ultimately I bought $2,000 worth of tile, half of which needed to be brought in from another story in AZ. The young man that was helping me make the order went out of his way to ensure I paid the least amount of freight. Cut to a week later when I was informed that my tile had arrived at the store. Off to Denver I go to pick it up. My tile was wrapped in plastic and on a pallet. The team quickly and efficiently loaded the whole pallet into the back of my suburban and off I went to come home. Upon getting the tile home and unwrapped it, I was dismayed to see that the story in AZ simply piled a bunch of loose tile on top of each other which resulted in over 25 pieces being chipped or broken. I called the Arvada store back and informed them of the problem. They apologized and said they would replace the tile and cover the shipping, but I had to bring the broken tile back. Not being too happy about having to make another 3 hour drive back, I had no choice....Now it's important to say that the Arvada store had nothing to do with the way the AZ shipped the tile. So back to Denver I go. Once at the store I get put with Mikayla who advises me that coincidently they received a pallet of tile that exactly matched mine that had been damaged, buy that we could go through the product and pick out as many undamaged pieces as possible and that they would exchange them for me on the spot. Mikayla went through every single piece and found me all the tile I needed plus a few more for good measure. In the end I am a very, very satisfied customer and would gladly drive back to Denver to shop at F&D and I can't say enough great things about Mikayla...you rock girl. read more

Quality of merchandise is great, selection is great but customer service is terrible. They might as well install self-checkout kiosks because 95% of the people are unknowledgeable or just don't give a ****. As others have suggested, any time you need to order something it's a pain and they actually make you pay the shipping from another store into the local store if you need something out of stock locally. If they'd train their employees and put decent managers who actually care and want to make things right it would be a great place to shop. read more

Worst customer service existent. To check if my order had arrived I had to wait 30 minutes on hold on 2 seperate occasions. Merchandise was damaged and had to fight for my refund over several days..All staff is outrageously rude and incompetent. Stay away from this store! Ridiculous! I would like to tell you about my recent experience at the Arvada I am re-doing my entire house, which they are/were aware of. I was purchasing marble 12x24 tiles. Because some had green veins, I asked if I could look through one or two boxes, I was told no that I had to purchase extra and do it at home then bring it back. Which I did. upon loading the tile into my car (6 boxes and 18 already opened tiles, the guy cracked one of them. When I got home, they had stacked them high, resulting in them sliding around my trunk, corners were broken and one CLOSED box had 2 tiles broken in half. When I called to speak to the manager, Stephanie (?), she said "bring them back and get new boxes". I asked if I could just look through 1-2 boxes in the store, she said no. I said that I lived in Boulder and didn't want to keep going back and forth with broken tiles...they seemed to be very soft and didn't have backing on them. I explained that I was doing a kitchen and 2 bathrooms, and she said "Why don't you take them to the Highlands Ranch Store, they can help you".!!!! I said "So you don't want my business?" and she replied "It's all the same company"!!! I might add that I live in Boulder Colorado which is 17 miles from the Arvada store and the Highlands Ranch store is 45 miles away! Needless to say, I went to the Highlands Ranch Store and what a world of difference!!! I explained the morning's conversation to the Manager Jodi, she not only took me back to the proper place in the store with the marble tile, she got Jade the designer to help me and had Jose carefully put them in my car! (as a side note, Jade showed me a tile that I liked a lot better, and of course, it was double the price!...which I purchased!). So far, the Arvada store has lost out on $500.00+ worth of tile for my kitchen and they will also lose out on a master bath, walls, shower, floor and a guest bath walls and floor. I just thought you should know. I live in a neighborhood that is 20 years old and people are re-doing their homes. I will not recommend the Arvada store to anyone and will tell them it's worth the extra miles to go to Highlands Ranch. read more

We stopped in here over the weekend to check out some tile and slate options for flooring, kitchen backsplashes and shower walls. We found quite a few options we liked and some were very decently priced. I have seen lower-priced granite and travertine elsewhere, but most things seemed like good bargains. This store also sells wood flooring (hardwoods of all varieties, laminates, bamboo, etc...) that was very competitively priced. The tile flooring ranges from very plain porcelain and ceramic squares of all sizes, shapes and colors to quite modern styles and they even had the tile that looks like hand-rubbed wooden planks for much cheaper than I've seen anywhere else. You can find a bunch of options for making mosaic patterns, lots of detailed trim and border ideas, glass, marble, natural stone and river rock and plenty more. There were some tiles in their clearance pile that we may go back for but most of those were in such small quantities that they wouldn't even cover a tiny bathoom. They also sell all of the other items one would need for a project like grout, glue, mortar, trowels, sealants, pads, liners and spacers. Worth a stop in your flooring search. read more

The upper management in this place is awful. I worked with Kristen and Bryan both two sperate visits and can't believe they'd let either of these people in a place of authority. Kristen gave me completely false advice regarding my bathroom and clearly has never had any experience laying tile. She contradicted herself multiple times and has zero idea what she's talking about. Probably because she was on her phone texting away instead of listening to what I was saying to her.  Maybe you should stick to educating your employees BEFORE moving them up to roles where they don't have any business being. As for Bryan... the degree in which he spoke to the poor ladies working the registers... should be enough for him to be automatically terminated. He belittled these girls while yelling at the other associates through the wakie talkies. When I asked to speak to him 15 mins before closing to address my issue with Kristen, he completely shut me down and was beyond rude. He didn't even give me a chance to get a word in before saying "were closing. Get in line and check out if you're going to buy something"  and walked away. In a customer oriented business, I left feeling as though all he cares about was the money. He was very inconsiderate and rude. The amount of unprofessionalism was outstanding. It makes me incredibly upset as I was planning on redoing an entire apartment complex before my exchange with Bryan. Now I will make sure everyone I know avoids this shop. I have been in countless times and been helped by people who were much more deserving of these positions  (and not completely rude and uneducated) Alys was amazing and has been helping me out for a long time. She's been there as long as I've been coming in and deserves to be recognized for her intelligence and helpfulness. Tanner was amazing helping me pick the right stone for my apartments, very respectful and friendly  (which I will no longer be getting thanks to Bryan and Kristen) Willie helped me many times and always was a pleasure to be around. Bradley and Gina helped me pick out all my decorative pieces and clearly knew the product and was very good with color coordinating. The designer with the really peculiar name... starting with an S...also very helpful. Pretty much everyone else I had exchanges with were awesome EXCEPT with those two. But how bad it was was enough for me to never return... Alys mentioned new management... maybe that's the problem in a once decent store to shop in. I wish I could give 0 stars. Hopefully one of those cashiers will call HR on the inhumane way he spoke to his employees.... read more

Where to start? I Have shopped here many times and have never had great service. The final straw was I recently purchased some flooring and I was a box short. When I went back to the store and waited for 20 minutes to have someone help me, I was told the flooring I had purchased was a "special purchase " they had made and I was out of luck. I asked if they could contact the manufacture and they said no. I also asked if they had other stores and I was told no. Finally, I asked if they could help in any way and they said no. I don't expect Nordstroms service here but any would be nice. Now I am out $600 and have to start over. I do about 5 or 6 flooring projects a year and I will not use them again read more

This store does not care about their customers. All employees were too busy to offer help while I was in the store. When I finally got somebodies attention for a question, the supervisor came over to rudely interrupt and give her a list of demands. Later, when I called from home to get a question answered, nobody had any idea what they were talking about and insisted getting the products I wanted shipped to me would be $100 for a small shipment (it was small enough for free shipping). I talked to the manager and he was extremely rude as well. I called "customer service" and once again, received no help and a bad attitude. This would be a good store to shop at if management cared about customer service and if the majority of the employees were nicer and more knowledgeable. read more

Worst customer service!! Will never shop there again. My order of 12 mosaic tiles had one piece missing and they promised to ship the piece to my home. After three weeks, I did not receive the piece and I have spent two weeks trying to find out where was that one piece. I still haven't got that one piece. The warehouse supervisor and the store manager have never kept their promises to call me back and let know what was the problem. I wonder why they are still in business? read more

Customer Service is horrible, and nobody cares! I purchased my tile online to be picked up. I figured I would just buy the grout and all the other needed supplies after talking to someone at the store. I picked up my tile, all is well. Headed into the store to buy my grout and anything else I might need for my two projects. I went to the grout section, no employees around. Walked up to the front of the store. Asked a cashier for service, he said he would call someone, I just needed to go back to the grout section. After about 20 minutes two employees appeared and immediately started helping other customers. I waited a bit longer, until it became obvious I wasn't going to get help. I went up to the cashier, as I had to get a refund on some tile I changed my mind about that I did not pick up. I told the cashier that I was unable to get help, he just laughed at me. I mentioned several times that I was planning on spending quite a bit more money in the store, but needed some help first. He had no solution, only snickering. As I walk out of the store my kids see the cashier continue to laugh at me. Needless to say, I will not be spending any more money where it is not appreciated. read more

Wow. I was blown away with my first trip to Floor & Décor. I was wandering through the store taking note of what materials I liked when Jordan asked if she could help me with anything. Despite the fact that I'm usually ridiculously independent, I accepted because I knew I had no idea what I was doing!! Jordan spent an hour with me, patiently walking me through things step-by-step. She explained the different materials that were available, how they each were produced, their durability and uses, and how to care for them. Most importantly, however, she offered her expert eye and design sense to help me match tiles for my floor and walls, including accents and grout. I was thoroughly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to go back and use her and Floor & Décor again in the future. I left completely confident and totally stoked about my bathroom remodeling projects. The girl named Stevie helped us out so much , she was so patient as we wandered around the tiles asking her questions ( not knowing what we wanted to do) . Keri was extremely helpful when we went to choose and buy tile for our custom home build. She had remembered us from when we came to look around almost 4 months before. In truth, Keri is the ONLY reason we went through with our very large purchase of tile. She should give training courses on customer service to her co-workers as she is the only one among them who seems to understand the concept at all. We drove a ways to get there, and when we arrived we discovered that someone had just bought up all of the tile we had come to purchase. We were told by the assistant department manager that they had some in another location 40 minutes away, and could go there to try to get it. We asked if a store transfer was possible as we'd already driven a long way that day. He said no, there would be a shipping fee. We asked if they could order more of the tile for us, he said no. He was very disinterested in us or what we needed. Keri stepped in and helped us. As we were checking out, the cashier was also very rude. We had been told over the phone that if we brought our building permit, the sales tax would be reduced. When we went to pay, they told us that was only true if the building permit was issued in that county, which it was not. We told her we had been told over the phone our permit would be accepted, and she said that it wouldn't and she was sorry, but all in a dismissive tone of voice that communicated very clearly she was anything but sorry. We ended up buying several thousand dollars worth of tile, because it was what we had selected for our home, and because Keri was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The rest of the team treated us very badly, and we won't be returning to floor and decor in the future. I've given 5 stars; they are only for Keri. read more

They have a good selection for tile and hardwood floors, but I wish they had more choices of accent tiles that aren't glass. The prices were competitive and they stock all necessary supplies. I attended the How To class on Saturday afternoon and the instructor was very knowledgable and helpful, however most of the other employees seem to have little knowledge or interest when it comes to flooring. read more
