We went with Kitchens on Broadway after receiving a glowing recommendation from neighbors who had a great experience. Unfortunately, we later discovered that the designer they worked with had left the company, along with several other senior designers. We skipped doing our own homework and ended up regretting it. We paid a $1,200 design fee, and after six months--only after we had repeatedly asked for our money back--we finally received renderings and a layout that essentially copied a design we had already created ourselves using free online software and had provided to them three months earlier, so this was incredibly disappointing. Since then, we've done our own research and found several other reputable kitchen and bath designers in the Denver area who offer an initial design, budget estimate, and timeline before requiring any payment. Often being able to provide an initial design within 2 weeks. That level of transparency and professionalism made us realize how far off our experience here was. I strongly recommend doing your due diligence as there are better options out there.

Make sure when you call to ask for Zane!

The salespeople have been nice, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality of nearly everything they sell. Don't let the glamorous showroom fool you. I do know someone on the inside, and all they do is slap their name on sh*t furniture and up-charge you. This place sucks. P.S. Their lighting products are absolute SH*T!!! We met one of the Associate Leaders, Msurtor-Agbidye. She was one of the most pleasant and nicest people in the store. She made me want to make Denver my home store. During my entire visit 99% of the team was great! One of the team members rudely interrupted us while talking about a sofa, however designer we were talking with quickly recovered and apologized for the behavior. Kindergarten rules of life, please, excuse me and thank you must apply especially at this level of sales. Overall it's a great store to check out. This review will appear to be a continuation of Dona G's. Although the details differ, the message…read moreis the same. Run! Run! Run! If you find yourself anywhere near this business--run! I have a modest home and have not updated my bathroom since 1983. Originally the thought of an update excited me. Halfway through the project I could not wait for it to be finished. It began with Trip Butler and ended with me asking him not to return. We had agreed on a price, but I was immediately perplexed when I was asked to pay his entire salary as the "retainer." I could not understand how and why anyone would pay 100% for a job which had never started. What kind of leverage would I have if the job did not meet expectations? I ended up paying 50% to begin the job. My first touch of reality occurred when I was quoted $3500 for 2 glass sides of a shower. The granite was already on two sides, and the drain pad from the previous shower was being used. I told Trip NO. He needed to check with other vendors. I later found out they only use one vendor. Trip told me I was welcome to do any shopping I chose to do. After he quoted me $1400 for a tub filler and $3200 for a free standing tub, I did all purchases myself. I knew absolutely nothing about what a tub filler was, what kind of glass I needed for the shower, etc. Wayfair reps spent more time educating me and L & L Glass helped tremendously. Trip did nothing. Wayfair found every possible discount they could and willingly held delivery for a suitable time. L & L installed the shower in two weeks, long before the project ever began. Michelle chose the vanity top. She sent me emails of the fabric which showed nothing on the Internet. I told her several times I could not see anything. She agreed but offered no solution. I finally just gave in and agreed. I asked her to send me some pics of lighting fixtures. That never happened. I chose all the hardware, sink, etc. Trip and Michelle approved of everything and, of course, mistakes were made. I had absolutely no guidance. When I asked for statements, they were gibberish. There were variations on the same charges. Trip wanted to charge me for a design (there was none) and 20 hours of consultation @ $100/ hour. (There was none). I asked for documentation because all I could give credit for were phone calls to arrange deliveries and work crews. Nothing ever happened. So many appointments were made with the contractor and most were ignored or canceled. The last week approximately 4 appointments were ignored, the only exception being the guys who put down the floor. Many things remained to be done--change out shower heads and handles, fastening pulls, putting on door stops, etc. but after 4 no-shows, I dreaded seeing any of these people again. After hearing that a handyman "had some ideas" regarding the plumbing issues, I chose to completely detach from these people and hire a licensed plumber. Most of all, avoid Anthony at Evergreen Granite. What they did to "make a sink fit" is horrible. Anthony will not listen to anyone or try to solve a problem. He refuses to stop talking and listen, even though my licensed plumber has photos of the horrible job that Evergreen did. Watch out! Truly, if you are considering a kitchen/bath update and are willing to write out all checks with no questions, this is the place for you. If you have worked hard to save your money and are willing to compromise, keep looking. This place will make you miserable. It is pretty much incomprehensible.

I wish I had read Dona's review before I started down the path with Bev at Interior Intuitions. It…read morewas the same experience I had! I interviewed Bev Adams to do a remodel on a small TV sitting room off my master and also two sink areas in my master bath and the floor in there. I let her know that this was a house we would be selling in the next few years so it didn't need to be over the top. She said since it was a small job, she would be able to do the plans for $2500 instead of the $5000 she usually gets as a retainer. The master bath area is literally two 6' sink areas and floor that needed to be redone. I had already redone the shower, the tub area was remaining the same, and I had already purchased the hardware, faucets, and sinks. That bid came back as an elaborate, over the top bid of $80,000! The TV area was a cabinet area that was a T shape that was 4'x3' and then the TV. That bid came back as $60,000 with an AV package of $60,000! We told Bev she didn't listen to what we had asked for and please go back and redo the areas so they were not so expensive. She came back with a lower bid on the bath, $60,000, which I liked better than the first drawing anyway. But she said the other room she couldn't get it lower. We ultimately decided we wouldn't work with her, that her listening skills were not very good at the best, or she was very unscrupulous at the worse. After I told her we weren't going forward with the project, she sent me a bill and a letter from her attorney asking for $2100 more for the drawings. She is very pushy and will get a retainer from you in any way she can. I think she feels if you have paid her to do plans, then you'll take what she designs and the price she comes up with. It was an expensive lesson, for sure. But at least I don't have to work with her through a complete project.

One of the standout aspects of working with A2Z Builders was their seamless communication. Using WhatsApp, they kept track of every request, update, and change throughout the project. This made the entire process transparent, organized, and stress-free. Satchel, the Lead Project Manager, was truly the heart of the project. His patience, responsiveness, and empathy made the renovation experience smooth and enjoyable. He was detail-oriented, ensured everything was done correctly, and welcomed changes without hesitation. Satchel's leadership gave us confidence that our home was in the best hands. I'm already recommending Satchel to friends and family for remodeling projects because he's simply amazing! Philipe, another Project Manager, deserves recognition for his dedication to keeping the crew on time and each task running smoothly. His consistent presence onsite ensured that deadlines were met and quality was maintained. Thanks to his oversight, we always knew the project was progressing exactly as planned. He also has a great eye for style and gave us lots of recommendations :) Macy, Lead Designer, brought our vision to life with creativity and expertise. She guided us through the kitchen layout, tile selections, and bathroom accessories, helping us achieve a design that perfectly balanced our different styles. Her eye for detail tied the entire remodel together beautifully--from the kitchen and bathroom to the fireplace and beyond. We wholeheartedly recommend A2Z Builders to anyone considering a renovation--whether small or a full house remodel. Their team is professional, talented, and genuinely cares about their clients. Choosing A2Z Builders was the best decision we made, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Satchel, Philipe, and Macy made the experience unforgettable, and we are grateful for their dedication, professionalism and expertise. Also, they were a blast to work with and we can't wait to do more projects with this team in the very near future!

This project was long and stressful. We signed the contract in March 2025. We had a discussion…read moreabout the expectations about our back yard porch which introduced a change. Then we decided to get a digital rendering of the porch which came out great, but came with a price of over $1k in addition to the initial Estimate which was over 40k. Some time went by and we heard very minimal about the project between March and August. I decided to do a review on yelp to motivate the company to do something with our project. I received a phone call from the PM about how this affects their business. I agreed that I would remove that review and add a review at the end. Our understanding was that there would be quality control and communication weekly along the way however; this was not the case. There were days where the painter and foundation person came when they said they would and other times they didn't. A couple of times I would go out and look and tell the construction worker that the quality was not acceptable. This occurred on more than one occasion. I called the PM to tell him that this was the problem. It got fixed and we ended up with a beautiful porch in Mid November with a total of $45k spent. If you have the time and money to spend to guide this project the exact way that you want then yes, otherwise; I would recommend a different company.
