Float pods are in a clean and private room.

Shower off and relax in the dark pod. My one hour float left me more relaxed than I can ever remember feeling. I also booked the contrast therapy. The infrared sauna was great because it didn't have the steam that often makes me feel uncomfortable. I was afraid of the ice bath and it was certainly a rush that takes some getting used to, but it gave me an adrenaline rush that was hard to beat. End on the sauna at the end of the day or with the ice in the start of the day.

My boyfriend booked a surprise float for us to celebrate my birthday. This was such an amazing and relaxing experience. Not only did we do a 60 minute float session, we did a 60 minute contrast session with an infrared sauna and cold plunge experience. I'm not a fan of water so I was a little anxious about the float, but the staff explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease. There are signs posted in each room explaining what to do step by step incase you forget the information the staff share. Each float room is private so it allows for some quiet and relaxation time. The sauna experience is equipped for 2 people. The facility was very clean. The one thing that didn't work for me were the robes, I am a bigger girl so the robe didn't fit, but that wasn't a huge deal. If you are on the bigger side then I would suggest bringing your own robe if you're doing more than just the float or sauna session. The restroom is equipped with a space to get dressed. They had toiletries available if you don't bring them (pads, tampons, makeup remover, lotion, hair-ties, contact solution and cases, etc.). Definitely going to be making float Seattle part of my self care routine.

Bring a good shampoo and conditioner

Im rating it low because it did nothing for me. It wasn't soothing. The time went by fast. It was just floating in salt water. And if you got some in your mouth it tastes like poison. Maybe it benefits some people. I went in a party of 3 and we all thought it was silly, and agreed we wouldn't return. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, the ones they provide were hotel style. The towels were kind of rough. I opted to play my own music, either I did something wrong or the volume was just extremely low. I couldn't get it to turn up. The establishment was clean and orderly. The staff were polite.

I've been here 4 times now and purchased more visits to use in the future. Sensory deprivation is something that sounded TERRIFYING to be as I am incredibly claustrophobic. My first visit to a float therapy place (not this one) was also in one of these pods, I took all the precautions, I kept the light on, I had music playing and I kept the pod "cracked" so I didn't feel as scared. I had a really hard time relaxing the first time - I think it was just all of the unknown. Today I went for my 4th visit at Float Seattle and now I am able to keep all the lights off and even the pod entirely closed, I even fell asleep today, it was SO relaxing and refreshing!!!! The pod is much bigger than it looks so I really don't get the claustrophobia that I thought I would. I want to do it every day hahaha! I suffer from some chronic lower back pain and bought a massage chair for my house to help when the pain gets really bad, I've also been told to try inversion tables - which I am really not interested in. Float therapy has been a godsend for my lower back pain. 1 hour in here has my back feeling amazing for a month before I start to feel it coming back again. I drank the kool-aide, I love float Seattle!

Wow!!! I love this place! I wish I was rich so I can always pamper myself! I can see why people go here because it really helps your muscles and you can relax. I was having pain with my lower back and sciatic nerve and as soon as I got out of there, I was relieved of pain. It's a nice quick fix. The epsom salt truly helps. The employee gave me the low down on my first visit. The pod has 1000 pounds of salt added and you completely float. I even fell asleep the second time I went which was great cause I'm not the type to relax for an hour. If you're claustrophobic you might not like it cause you're enclosed in the pod. It's nice and relaxing and you can listen to music if you would like. When the lid is closed you can turn the lights off and turn the star option on. I truly enjoy going. They have showers that you use inside the room before and after. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. You can even relax in the reception area after your soak if you're so inclined. My massage therapist recommended this and I'm glad I tried it out.

I have been dealing with chronic pain and depression related to a broken back from a skiing accident Feb. 2022. A friend recommended Float Seattle. It was amazing! The pressure that it immediately took off of my back along with having a place to relax and meditate where I wasn't constantly trying to tune the chaos of the world was so beneficial. It's been less than a week before my first visit and I've already booked more appointments and referred friends and family for various reasons. This is a must do! The staff is amazing and it's so clean and calm. Highly recommend visiting

After looking over all the photos, I selected the "Tent Suite." I liked the day bed, in addition to the big tub. The massage itself was relaxing - don't expect a deep tissue or anything. I asked for extra firm pressure before and during the massage, but we never really quite got there. No problem, though, because I was super relaxed and almost fell asleep. I packed charcuterie supplies and sparkling wine. I maybe overpacked on the utensils, because they really did have everything else there. We booked it on Friday and planned for a 12:00-2:50 p.m. couples massage on Saturday. We got up on Saturday and started driving, even allowing for a 30-minute buffer time. The GPS said we would arrive at 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, our car, which we have never had problems with before, had just died on the highway. We were 30 minutes away, and it was an hour prior to 12 when the incident occurred, so I called them and let them know what was going on. I had hoped that they would be understanding and waive the cancellation fee, which is 50% of the total price. Thinking they would be understanding and flexible enough to even rebook me another day so we could still experience this and 100% pay them, because why would we not? That's not at all what happened. Management said that the masseuses still had to get paid somehow, and even after experiencing this emergency with our car, we still had to pay the 50% cancellation fee. We will absolutely not be returning, due to this company's lack of understanding and flexibility with its customers.

Luckily I did bring my yoga pants and they said it was fine for me to wear my own clothes in the meditation rooms. Normally I go to Olympus, but the last few times there it was so crowded and pretty dirty. Q is definitely a lot less crowded and much cleaner. Also, I went with a friend on a groupon which you should definitely check for as I have seen them offer these quite a bit. So process is -- you check in and they give you the "uniform" -- they only have up to size 2x and it is a small 2x IMO -- more like a 1x. It is a tshirt and shorts. They also give you your locker key. Q Spa is coED but they have separate bathrooms for men and women. They only thing coED is the meditation rooms, the common areas and the cafe. So, after paying and getting your uniform you proceed to your designated bathroom/changing room area. Your locker key has a number to show you which locker you are assigned to -- the spaces for the lockers are a little narrow, but not as much as Olympus. You can either change to your uniform or you can head straight to the pools. I like to do the mediation rooms before I get wet so after changing I headed back out to the common area. There is at least one meditation room on the ground floor but the majority of them are up stairs. I am not sure if there is an elevator for someone that is handicap? But they had a salt room, a chill room, a charcoal room and a sand room -- I love the meditation rooms. I guess the only weird thing is that there were men sitting in the common areas outside of the rooms just working on their laptops -- seems like a weird thing to do in a spa! So my friend and I spent about an hour and a half in the meditation rooms and then we were ready for the sauna, the steam room and the hot tubs! They have three different hot tubs of varying temps and a sauna and a steam room. In this gender segregated area, you remove your uniform -- so like Olympus you need to be comfortable in your own skin. It wasn't crowded at all (unlike olympus where you can be boob to boob with someone). My friend and I enjoyed this section of the spa -- it was very relaxing. We were starting to get hungry and noticed the cafe opens around 11am. So we got changed back to our uniforms and headed to the cafe. I love Korean food -- I can't recall what the dish was called but it was one of those stone bowl dishes where the food is still cooking in the very hot bowl. It wasn't quite as good as Olympus but it was still pretty yummy. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. I will definitely try Q Spa again.

I used to love coming here to relax and would visit once or twice a week when it was newer, but…read moreit's really sad that I can't do that anymore. The male visitors have turned this Korean spa into a bathhouse. You cant sit in the steam room, sauna, or hot tubs, and rest because the visitors are touching themselves and each other in there. I've tried to give it a few chances recently but this has happened the whole time during my last few visits. I thought maybe if I could visit on different times or days I could find a time to relax, but unfortunately it seems this goes on all day. There are a lot of signs saying there shouldnt be any sexual contact, but they don't seem to do anything. The only safe place for the men who want to relax is the coed saunas because you have to wear clothes and women share the area with men. As a Korean, I am just so disappointed that I can't use this Korean Spa for it's intended purposes. There are bathhouses in Seattle for these things, why can't these guys go there?
