Great place and wonderful concept, this is one relaxing place. Quick run down, this is a float tank that provides sensory deprivation meaning you will float in a controlled environment tank that will be dark and soundless. It's quite relaxing and I would go again as it's a nice unplug from the world. The session lasts an hour. Pretty straightforward stuff for any rookie reading this. The float area itself is very nice, modernish type of private rooms with showers, soap, shampoo, towels, and a few other items for your convenience. It's a very nice facility overall that provides a lovey atmosphere. Google and check out a few things on this type of experience, I learned about it from a podcast and wanted to try it ever since. I highly recommend this place and hope you feel as relaxed as I did.

Sauna/float combo is the highlight of my week. If I miss a week or two- I can notice the tightness in my muscles, discomfort in my joints, and worsened mood. Floating regularly has helped me so much physically and mentally. Plus, Float Seattle has such an amazing staff- they really make this place the healing spot that it is. The cleanliness and ambiance is impeccable. Good vibes all around!

Touched by this recognition. Love this place. Been coming here since 2015 and have introduced many to the benefits of floating. I'm hooked!

I've been floating for years and can't praise Float Seattle highly enough. Four tanks, including a large ADA tank. Booking a float is simple - through the app. It's a convenient location - off Greenlake with off-street generally available. Post-COVID the experience is secure. Staggered start times means I rarely see another client. The front desk staff are polite and courteous. The whole site is spotless and tranquil. Floating provides me with a quiet meditative time, which in these times is necessary and therapeutic.

First experience doing a float pod and it was fantastic. Relaxing. Music is available to play in the pod. Can be turned off and on anytime. Same with the light (bluish and dim) and starry lights can be turned on and off at any time. I turned off the music I requested after 5 minutes and enjoyed the silence but kept the starry lights and bluish light on for comfort. I enjoyed the ear plugs to avoid water and salt in the ears. I was never rushed at the end of my session. Loud music plays in the pod when the session is over to alert you to exit and shower. Everything was clean and welcoming. Royce was helpful explaining and answering all questions about the experience before the session. His chill vibes and calm demeanor was appreciated. After my session I enjoyed using the main mirrors to apply my lip gloss and then I made my way over to the complimentary tea station and enjoyed a mint tea on the lobby couches before leaving. I felt relaxed for the rest of the day and the next. I also had amazing sleep that night. The session was a great way to de stress and focus on me. Would recommend and would return. Love the happy hour offered.

I arrived around 3:45 as was requested when I made my appointment. The person working at the front desk checked me in, and went to check if my room was ready, which it was. I was given a brief tour of the lobby area, which had the lounge and an area with beverages to consume as wanted. We went immediately to my room, which was extremely clean. I was given a brief intro on how to use the sensory deprivation room, and the employee also pointed out where everything was written in case I missed something! Everything needed was there. They provide ear plugs, and several towels, and instruct you to wear the ear plugs, take a shower and clean yourself with neutral temperature water, and no hair conditioner. Afterwards, I completely dried my face (to reduce the risk of touching your face once in the tank), and they provided packets of petroleum jelly to place on any cuts so they don't burn with the salt. After prepping, I got in the tank, which was quite spacious. I did initially take in a floatie to serve as a head pillow but ended up taking it off. There are two buttons in the tank that control the light, and music if you choose to connect your phone, which I did not but I think that's a great touch. They also provided a spray bottle of fresh water just in case you accidentally touch your eyes and needed to get salt out, and I was advised to bring in a small towel with me just to keep my face free from salt water. I turned off the lights, and floated for an hour which went by way faster than expected! At the end, music played to signal the end of the session, I turned on the lights, got out, and jumped in the shower. They provide scentless shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with an ear wash they highly suggest you use containing vinegar. After I dried and got dressed, I ended my session in the lounge with some of their complementary tea. It was a great experience and I'd love to do it again!

The facility feels very new and clean and the staff are super helpful. Even before booking my first appointment , the text chat was super responsive in answering my questions. Online scheduling is also a huge plus and very easy. The sauna is infrared, which is disclosed and does fine even if not my preference and it's a little difficult not to get water everywhere with the way the shower and tub are set up. Those would be my nitpicky complaints and overall, it's very well worth it especially since you can have a second person for only $20 and the time slot isn't shared/community. They also seem to have deals throughout the year, so that makes it even better. Overall, pleased with this place and can definitely see coming back again when I'm in the area!

This is located in the first floor of an apartment complex in Bellevue - the lobby is clean and the staff person I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable. Each float tank is in a clean, private, lockable room with a shower and towels and ear plugs - everything you need. The float tank experience itself is pretty cool - after showering you get in the tank, which is about ten inches of water with a whole bunch of epsom salt in it. The water and the air are the same temperature as the human body so it's a bit hard to distinguish between you and the environment after a bit. You can close the tank and turn off the light for a complete sensory deprivation experience, or try any combo to your comfort level. Being able to float provides great stretches and opportunities for meditation. I thought it would be hard to figure get through an hour of doing nothing - but it goes fast! The tank plays music to let you know the experience is over (for now). Afterwards I felt like I had a great massage. Go!

It popped up for me again while I was scrolling on Groupon, so I decided to get the two float package for both my partner and I and for my parents. I'm so glad I finally tried it out! I don't agree with some of the comments about the location, I found it to be very cozy and relaxing. For a first time experience, and as someone who really struggles with going to unfamiliar places, I found it to be perfect and not overwhelming. When I first arrived, the owner was not in the spa area but some paperwork to fill out was left on the desk. I actually really loved that because it gave me some time to settle into the environment and process everything before having to interact with anyone, which is huge for me. As a person with both Autism and ADHD (and I highly demanding job), I really struggle with overstimulation, nervous system dysregulation, adrenaline fatigue, and periods of severe burnout. My muscles are always very tense, about halfway through my body became very relaxed and I spent about 15 minutes just stretching and felt an incredible relief of tension like I've never experienced. I actually cried at one point because I didn't know it was possible for me to be able to relax like that. The sensory deprivation and having the opportunity to relax my body for the first time in a very long time is exactly what I needed before returning to work at the end of Winter break. Even as a first time float, I had such a great experience and came out feeling much more regulated and calm. I had really been struggling mentally and physically the last couple of months due to work, I feel like this really helped with regulating my nervous system. I'm going to try out the once a week for a month package in hopes that it will help with avoiding that level of burnout!

Now, 3 days later (the first day I had time to reach back out), he has changed his response. The new response no longer has the original offer of a credit. Instead, it's basically a lot of words to say that customer experience only matters if it's positive, something about how roller coasters don't give refunds if someone pukes, and the next staff training will include something about credits. My issue remains unresolved. Urban Float is a dishonest business that only cares about money. Buyer beware. Poor experience overall. Positives: -clean -nice staff -explained things well -places to dress, do hair, and skincare with good hairdryers at each station. Negative: My friend and I had our first floats 12/29. Including my pre and post float showers (5 minutes each), I was in my room MAYBE 20 minutes out of the 60 minutes I paid $99 for. I was in the actual pod less than 10 minutes due to uncontrollable nausea. I had no idea this would happen to me, but it's nobody's fault. The staff were polite enough to check on me, and get me water and tea to drink. I asked if the circumstances would allow for a credit (yes, a credit, not a refund) that my husband could use later, but was told by the manager that she can't. The best she 'could' do was 20% off. I wasted $80 to sit in a lobby. I realized after I left that their website says people who cancel within 12 hours of an appointment have to pay 50%. Yet someone who shows up on time and tries to participate only gets 20% off? It's unfortunate that y'all chose to waste an opportunity to turn a negative into a positive, and possibly gain some more loyal customers. Instead, neither myself nor my friend will be back. Sadly, she was also soured by my experience even though she enjoyed her float and Rex treatment. This is my 3rd time leaving a review, let's see if anyone actually follows up, or if Urban Float cares more about making money than "providing a clean, calm, and welcoming environment" as per their mission statement. I most certainly do not feel welcomed after this experience.
