Jamila is truly a warm, kind person with a calming presence, and her space has a cozy, welcoming ambiance. We genuinely felt cared for during the massage, and the essential-oil towels and robes were a nice touch. The infrared sauna was also a solid part of the experience--nothing extraordinary, but definitely relaxing. One thing to note is that you don't get your massages at the same time since Jamila is the only massage therapist. While one person gets their massage, the other is just hanging out in the space. It wasn't a problem for us--we napped, snacked on the charcuterie board, and just relaxed--but it's definitely something guests should know ahead of time. The massage itself was good. I wasn't sure what type we were receiving at first, but when I asked, Jamila confirmed it was Swedish. It also included cupping, which I'd never tried before, so I was excited about that and ended up being satisfied with the experience. That said, I do wish there had been more transparency with some of the package details. For example, I had to ask about the shower only to learn it was broken--something I feel should've been mentioned beforehand, especially since we were both very sweaty after the sauna and massage. The candle that was supposed to be included also wasn't mentioned at all; we didn't realize it was missing until after we left and had to bring it up ourselves. Another point was the beverage. The package description says guests can choose between sparkling water, tea, or a bottle of wine, but we weren't offered any options--we were simply given tea. The charcuterie board also didn't match the photos on the booking page, which showed things like Brie, honey, chocolates, bell peppers, and a variety of fruits. Our board had cheese cubes, meats, some fruit, and crackers, with half the fruit being kiwi--something my boyfriend is allergic to--so he couldn't enjoy much of it. I did ask for a little more meat since the ratio was off, and she was kind enough to add more. After we left, we realized we also never received the candle and had to call to request a partial refund or credit for the missing items. Overall, Jamila is incredibly sweet and her space has a lot of potential. The atmosphere was lovely and the sauna and massage were solid, but clearer communication and consistency with what's advertised would help the experience feel more aligned with the price. I'd recommend clarifying exactly what's included before paying up front.

Once they left after the 50 minutes, we ate sushi and shared a drink in our robes which was a perfect date night. The shower was great, the tub is large so make sure to fill it up ahead of time but it was very hot. The sauna was also perfect. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a little getaway. You can share with 1-7 of your buddies depending on the room selected. I'd recommend a group session if you haven't done it before. You'll get a towel, a couple timers and a bottle of water. There's typically a towel on the floor by the cold dip and another small towel in the floor of the sauna. A full size towel is on the seat of the sauna. There's an LED red light therapy system embedded in top of the sauna. I typically start in the sauna for 8 minutes or so. Then cold for 3 or so. Continue for the length of my time. I'm especially refreshed if i finish with the cold plunge. Staff are friendly/helpful. I've had mixed luck with the bluetooth speakers in the rooms. The doors on the saunas can be tough to close (they stick). But overall, highly recommended.

I don't agree with some of the comments about the location, I found it to be very cozy and relaxing. For a first time experience, and as someone who really struggles with going to unfamiliar places, I found it to be perfect and not overwhelming. When I first arrived, the owner was not in the spa area but some paperwork to fill out was left on the desk. I actually really loved that because it gave me some time to settle into the environment and process everything before having to interact with anyone, which is huge for me. As a person with both Autism and ADHD (and I highly demanding job), I really struggle with overstimulation, nervous system dysregulation, adrenaline fatigue, and periods of severe burnout. My muscles are always very tense, about halfway through my body became very relaxed and I spent about 15 minutes just stretching and felt an incredible relief of tension like I've never experienced. I actually cried at one point because I didn't know it was possible for me to be able to relax like that. The sensory deprivation and having the opportunity to relax my body for the first time in a very long time is exactly what I needed before returning to work at the end of Winter break. Even as a first time float, I had such a great experience and came out feeling much more regulated and calm. I had really been struggling mentally and physically the last couple of months due to work, I feel like this really helped with regulating my nervous system. During the summer it's the best time to just lay out in the sun and swim in the heated pool. You must be nude to swim in the pool. I've always found the locals and residents at the park to be warm and helpful. There is a full covered kitchen available for anyone to cook in and eat at the picnic tables just outside. Being publicly nude seems strange at first but that soon goes away. No one cares what you look like, just who you are and they are willing to get to know you. A couple of years ago they built three small cottages next to the restroom/shower facility. They are called the "Birdcages". All three use the established facilities so it is a bit strange but worth the place to stay at a very reasonable price. I plan on going back there for my annual summer "migration" to the park. It's worth calling them at 425-392-6833 and talk about any concerns. They are very professional and concerned about your privacy. Cross it off your bucket list if for no other reason.
