    Float chamber entry

This place is amazing. Let's start with Christian, he gave me all the necessary instructions and more information on the benefits of floating. It was obvious he was a pro and confirmed when telling me he has been floating for over 5 years. I went in on an early appointment so I was able to pick my room (they have 3). They are all clean and equipped with everything you need for your floating session. I'm a little afraid of the dark, but they gave me a little ball that lights up and changes colors to bring into my chamber. Everything about this experience was comforting, especially for a first timer! Would definitely recommend.

Long overdue review ... I learned about the float clinic from a gift certificate that was given to me last Winter. At first I wasn't really sold on going even after hearing my friends enthusiastic experience, but it was a gift and I knew eventually it would disappoint him if I didn't go. I'm so glad I did! The body loves soaking up that magnesium, mind gets elevated , skin and hair is softer looks fuller, plus the most solid deepest sleep! Since then I continue to go, and every trip to the float clinic is a different experience. The people working here are all gracious and knowledgeable especially Christian, every friend I bring with me gets a strong understanding on everything float. Side note: Christian is a gift from the gods. The float clinic is a very clean ,well kept facility and they offer affordable float packages, also they sell some high quality products. Each time I float I'm already thinking I can't wait to float again!

Sun room! (Writing on the door is from me, not the establishment lol)

I have recently started on a float journey. This is the best place I have been! It was clean, private and has good vibes. I love that the tanks are quite large so your elbows don't really bump against the walls. They also provide a pillow that makes the float experience soooo much more comfortable. I have a lot of hair and the last time I floated my neck was kind of sore after from my head being weighed down-- the pillow makes a huge difference! Also, Christian was so nice and helpful. If you're curious about floating, go check them out!

This was my first time floating. It was amazing. It's funny because I was nervous to try it. I have severe anxiety and mild claustrophobia, but as soon as we walked in ( I did a session with my best friend) Christy was there with a huge smile on her face and a unique and bubbly personality that just took my gitters away. They offer a 90 minute session for $45 dollars andiI believe do a vet discount, which is cool. The building itself was immaculate, clean, soothing and pristine. The decor is washed in soft blues, teals and whites. All very relaxing and very inviting. after all the paper work was done and we talked about any ailments we might have, Christy showed us to our rooms, which again were very clean and welcoming. she explained the whole process and let us get on our way. I watched a ton of videos for at least the last month trying to get my mind right for it and it is like watching a training video on sky diving, no matter how many you watch nothing is like the actual experience. My best friend and I have two very completely experiences, i did end up falling asleep at some point, well at least i think i did lol another yelper, Mary Z, reviewed it last year on here and I think ended her review perfectly, so I will borrow it: "Everyone's experience will be different, but if I can give any advice (because you bet I will recommend it) I would say, don't go there with any expectations. We know, expectations lead to disappointment so--just go and let it be what it is. Complete Mind and Body relaxation. I hope it transforms your life, or day or week, or month, as it has done to me. Amazing experience overall."

    Exterior. Very welcoming & clean.

So, this was my first time trying this type of meditation: Sensory Deprivation. -Long story short: I recommend it. ~_~ -Short story long: An appointment online or via telephone is necessary as they only have three sensory deprivation tanks and 10am, 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm, 8pm, 10pm appointments, so this is definitely not a walk-in clinic. They offer a 90 minute session for $45 dollars and have a Veteran's discount too! How neat and considerate is that? -What to take? Just you, yourself, and you. They provide all the necessary items for a pleasant relaxing time. (Towels, earplugs, shampoo, lotion, cotton swabs, etc). -What's the setting like? Very spa-like, with bright, clean colors all around. Easy to the eyes. Once welcomed in, you get to choose one of the three rooms. They're pretty much all similar, just different colors. I very much enjoyed the ample showers! The stone shower floor felt amazing too (Wish I had a shower and not a tub sometimes). -What's the process? Well, the attendant there will give you a run through but if you want to hear it from me: You shower to remove all oils, get into the tank then, 90 min later you come out and should shower again, get dressed and done. The tank part; well the amount of epsom salt in the tanks is sure to have your body increase buoyancy so you'll have no problem floating. Shut the door, lay out and make sure you don't get any water in your eyes---that will burn. Trust me, I would know. Ha! Then, let go. In complete darkness, all your senses will be deprived. Just you and your thoughts. If you think you'll fall asleep at any point its ok--beautiful sounding music will slowly emerge to remind you when your time is up. Loved the music! It made me feel alive. Everyone's experience will be different, but if I can give any advice (because you bet I will recommend it) I would say, don't go there with any expectations. We know, expectations lead to disappointment so--just go and let it be what it is. Complete Mind and Body relaxation. I hope it transforms your life, or day or week, or month, as it has done to me. Amazing experience overall. And if I can name three adjectives to describe this experience they would be: 1. Invigorating 2. Motivating 3. Emotional In that order, enjoy!!!

Floatation Room #2 as of May 2, 2015

Experienced my 1st floatation this Saturday, May 2nd, for my birthday and it was nice. I agree with other comments; Establishment is very clean. The receptionist was very polite and gave us full instructions on what to do from beginning to end for first time "floaters". She also gave recommendations from others on certain things to do while floating ie; positioning of the hands/arms. Was given a tour of the location including all 3 of the private rooms. Room #2 is best due to interior ( That's the room I selected ) I must say this. I am African American and I know how my women can get when it comes to their hair. Lol !! Wearing a swimmers cap is NOT going to prevent your hair from getting wet, wearing a weave or not. If you do not mind getting your hair wet then go for it but if you're totally against it and don't feel like dealing with the hassle of your hair, this is NOT for you. I had to put that out there. Other than that, the actual experience was nice. Make sure to wash your body and hair off thoroughly when you're done. Your skin will be ashy as all hell and your hair will feel dry from the Epsom salt if you don't !

Yes, one float per person. You can book another float for another person but they are separate floats in separate rooms.

Well in middle-age, floating has been a necessary and therapeutic service that allows me to continue to stay active, reduce stress, and recover. Upon my last visit, I was informed of the new contrast service. I have never cold plunged before. I regularly utilize the cryo tank at least 4 times a year, so I thought why not? I was a little nervous, but the contrast room has the perfect aesthetic, and the combination of the dry sauna and cold plunge was AMAZING! The cold plunge is not for the faint at heart, but after researching the many benefits, well worth it! After my session, I immediately felt the differences. My body is still reaping the benefits well in 48 hours. I floated first, then did the contrast. For me, my dream recovery and refocus services for mind, body, and spirit! Great job, Float State! My only small disappointment, I miss the old staff and their genuine rapport and personalities. When I came in, they new my name and I felt like family. Now, I just feel like a number. No one is rude or unpleasant, their body language and conversation is just low effort. There are a couple of individuals I know by name, but the enthusiasm isn't the same. Like I said, this is relatively small and by no means takes away from the experience.

I was a little concerned beforehand about feeling claustrophobic in the pod, but that never happened. I did end up opening the pod hood a crack towards the end of the session to see what that was like. The environment was calming and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The private pod room was very inviting with adjustable low lighting, which helped set the mood without feeling too dark or overwhelming. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a private shower in the room as well. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully set up, including soap, ear plugs and toiletries even though I had brought my own. The float pod itself was the perfect temperature -- warm, comfortable, and relaxing. They provided a float pillow, clean towels, and even a small water mister bottle in case any saline got into my eyes, which was a nice touch and showed attention to detail. Overall, the experience felt very professional, relaxing, and easy for a first-timer. I left feeling refreshed, calm, and clear-headed. Highly recommended for anyone curious about float therapy or just looking for a way to decompress and reset. Would recommend and do it again!

She was very friendly and took the time to clearly explain how to use the pod, which I appreciated. However, once I stepped inside, I noticed the bottom of the pod felt slimy. I tried to ignore it and continue with the session, but after closing the lid and looking around, I saw hair from other clients floating in the water along with various other particles. I'm not sure exactly what everything was, but it made it impossible for me to relax. Knowing I was floating in water that appeared unclean made me extremely uncomfortable, and I ended up getting out of the pod early. I was told the filters run frequently, but based on what I observed, I found it hard to believe they are working properly. Given this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning to use the pods again.

I had to track down the customer service number myself just to figure out how to access the room we had reserved. About 30 minutes later, I received a call from Anthony claiming I was being "inconsiderate," without even explaining why at first. After repeatedly asking what he was referring to, he said someone complained that my baby was crying -- which simply was not true. I asked him to check the cameras before making accusations, but instead he continued lecturing me and saying he was "protecting his clients." I am also a paying client. I booked and paid for my wife's experience. Once he realized that, his tone and story started changing. But by then, the damage was done. What should have been a relaxing Mother's Day experience became stressful and uncomfortable because of how we were treated. All I was doing was feeding my baby quietly. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Anthony chose to insult me, insult my wife, and send hostile text messages afterward to justify his behavior. A single customer complaint should never be enough reason to harass and disrespect another paying customer without verifying facts first. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Professionalism and customer respect are clearly not priorities here. He also thought my name was "Hayes" until I corrected him so who knows if he even called the right client. What a joke.
