She did an amazing job focusing on my painful areas. Every time she worked on a spot, I could feel the pain releasing. I kept saying thank you because it really helped. By the end of the massage, I was already able to lift my left shoulder again. I even cried tears of joy because I felt so much better. Cici may be small, but she is very strong and skilled. No pain medication worked for me, but her massage did. Thank you so much, Cici, for helping take my pain away. I really appreciate it.

The space has been nicely renovated since my last visit, and it was quiet when I went since it wasn't full. I got the special, which included a full-body massage. Lily did a great job taking care of my sore spots. Towards the end, she used hot rocks--which was a surprise since I'm not a fan of heat, but otherwise the session was solid. Keep in mind this is a reasonably priced massage spot rather than a luxury spa, and it's a shared space separated by drape-like partitions, so it could get pretty noisy when fully booked. Overall, a good, straightforward option if you're just looking for affordable relief.

Well this place does it hard and listens when I want mostly neck+back. Finally! I won't say my masseuse else I won't be able to book her. I'm sure everyone in there is awesome as well. They were open Saturday evening while all other places for foot massage were closed.

I believe my masseuse name was Lily and she was great! I was able to relax while she was able to hit all the right areas. I appreciated that she did not use her elbow as some places do. I was not offered the hot stones, not sure if they still do it or if you have to ask for it. I have seen another XH location further down Sepulveda, I wonder if they are under the same ownership. But, definitely come here if you're looking to relax and heal your body! My mom who is very critial about her massages, really liked this place too.

The good: My husband booked a massage here for me for my…read morebirthday. It was very relaxing and the space is tucked away in a serene, peaceful, and discrete locationl. I liked the dim lighting inside, relaxing spa music, neutral and modern aesthetic, lights and the citrus aromatherapy. I was also given ginger tea and a Snickers and ginger candy upon completion of my massage. First timers get $10 off. I found street parking right outside the complex. The massage strength was just right. My massage therapist, Mam, checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. I liked that there was a small facial massage and that your face got covered by a cloth when you were on your back. You also got a nice soft pillow when you turned to your back. I'd highly recommend this massage experience! The bad: It was cold inside. The massage table wasn't heated and the bed is firm (could be good or bad depending on what you like). The sheets on them were thinner and weren't cushiony or plush/warm. I still have a knot in my upper back that it seems like a lot of people cannot get rid of for me. I had 3 other massages in the past year where they were also unable to get rid of my upper back knot. The interesting: Their bathroom is located right. outside the entrance and requires a key. It's shared with other tenants. Their grand opening is later this month.

Full review: Lured by the grand opening special, my daughter and I visited this new massage place for one-hour, deep-tissue massages. To get the special, we had to show the special "flyer." That was easy enough; all I had to do was show the photo from Yelp. Parking was free and easy in a dedicated lot just south of the building. The shop was nicely decorated, giving an Asian spa vibe. The staff speaks Mandarin Chinese; English fluency varies. Massage choices included clothing on and clothing off options. We opted for clothing on, with 30 minutes of foot massage and 30 minutes of deep-tissue body massage. We paid an extra $10 each on top of the grand opening special to get the deep-tissue option. After our massages, we were given small bottles of water, an option for some candies, gift certificates (another grand opening bonus), and a punch card. Physical massage: 5/5 stars. The massage itself was pretty good. My masseuse had strong hands and good technique. Ambiance: 3/5 stars. The ambiance during the massage was not as peaceful as it otherwise could have been. The staff did some chatting, there was a lot of phone ringing, and my masseuse took a phone call while giving my massage. I could tell she was minimizing what needed to be said on her end of the conversation, but it was distracting nonetheless. Pricing: 5/5 stars. The grand opening special is 10/5 stars for pricing, but even the regular prices look like a bargain for a quality massage. Be sure to tip generously, as these are quite low prices in comparison to other local options. Overall, I give this new massage shop 4.5 out of 5 stars. The chatting and phone ringing mean that this is not a "spa" experience by any means. But if what you need is to address sore or aching muscles, this place has you covered.
