She did an amazing job focusing on my painful areas. Every time she worked on a spot, I could feel the pain releasing. I kept saying thank you because it really helped. I do not even know where to begin on this revised review. I am sad to rewrite this review because at first, I was so happy to find a good value close to home. I am three days post massage and am still in pain/stiff on my shoulders. Let me preface with I will typically get 1 - 2 massages a month from a similar establishment in Norwalk, this location was simply closer to work. So, I must have shown up on a day when the owners were out because it was a complete sh*t show and that's putting it nicely. My appt was for 6:30pm, we arrive and they go to run my card. Their printer doesn't print a receipt, BUT, I got a transaction notification from my bank so I know it charged. She reached back towards me for my card again to attempt to run the card again to get a receipt. We attempted to explain to the two ladies up front that the transactions went through you need to reprint the receipts, they kept insisting on needing our cards to rerun it. We denied giving them our cards again and waited as they made another phone call. Mind you, there were two people in my party and she did the same thing to my friend. 20 minutes later, two calls to their boss and they begin the massage. The masseuse was interrupted not once but twice by the front door so I already felt some type away about her walking away to help someone during my "60 minute" massage. Now I have it in quotations because it took them 20 minutes from my arrival to figure out the POS system which put us at 6:50 and I was dressed and walking out by 7:40pm. I immediately came home to do more research on credentials for massage rooms because it really felt like she was just kneading my back and when she did find two knots on my upper shoulder blade it felt like someone was using two pens to paddle the knot, back and forth. When I first came here, the service was great. There were people who knew what they were doing and were communicative, the beds were heated, it was great it was a whole comforting vibe. The last two times, have been complete opposite. Mind you this last time I went, was a "give them a second chance" visit to not just write them off after 1 bad experience. Sad that I have to find a new place but my achy bones can't do another freezing massage experience. read more

Got a 90 minute massage w/ coconut oil (60 min. body / 30 min. feet) & later on added $10 scrub upon being asked when she started on the feet. I will say the environment was ok. Someone's phone kept going off, I asked for a new towel and was given a paper towel to put over the towel that I initially wanted changed. I am a comfortably plus sized girl and I'll say that the massage felt much like a rub down instead of a real thorough massage. I believe men have the ability to be a little more able to hit the pressure points, but the ladies were a little too delicate and only felt like a nice oiled, rub down to put it frankly. Overall, okay massage. I accidently tipped $28 because (you are asked to pay first) and because of that, when it came time to add the $10 scrub and tip after the initial payment, I miscalculated. Worse massage experience ever! She kept walking out of the room (while I was naked on the table) to hack up spit and talk to walk ins. I have gone to Carson Foot Massage on and off for many years. Of course their prices have gone way up supposedly due to Covid. I still went there occasionally. I had a couple of good masseuses that I enjoyed. But Inevitably, the ones I like are no longer there. Still, I called and made an appointment anyway today. But when I got there they wanted me to pay up front. I do not look homeless. I showered, and arrived on time. What used to be about $40 was going to cost 60 plus a tip. But I refuse to pay up front. They insisted. I left, went down the street, and had a wonderful massage for less. I paid and tipped afterwards. In my world, you pay and tip after being served. But it was a blessing in disguise. Came in here to treat my fiancé to a couples massage. It was such a disappointment. Paid upfront because that was required no problem. The lady asked me how much I wanted to tip I told her I was tipping with cash. We start with the massages and the lady ask me if I wanted regular or coconut oil. I pick coconut and she then tells me $10 more. So I say I'll just take the free oil who wants to pay $10 more for oil??? The other tech working on my fiancé then proceeds to ask him. He opts for the regular oil as well. She proceeds to push the coconut oil after he says no. Then she pushes cupping on him for $20 more. They have three private rooms and four beds in the public room if you're there to get a foot massage. I've brought my whole family here but I frequent with my mom who is disabled and I'm giving them a five star for always accommodating and being so kind and patient to her needs. They treat her with respect and I really appreciate the staff for that. My brother, who is a big guy, said this place is awesome and they really worked out his kinks and was even snoring during his massage. I recommend getting the $35 dollar hot stone foot massage for 60 minutes. They massage your whole body, oil up your back towards the end and do the whole shabang with the hot stones and it feels so relaxing! Plus for the price, it really can't be beat. I don't get massages that often, but when I do I come here. $35 for an hour massage that includes scalp/face, feet, legs, and back. Great deal in my opinion. They use hot towels to wipe you down at the end and dry as well. Last time I was there some new guy - yes I don't mind getting massages from a male, I'm comfortable with my sexuality - named Jerry gave me an excellent massage. I told him to focus on my left ankle cuz I've sprained it 200 times playing basketball. I showed him exactly where the soreness was an he rubbed all around the scar tissue. He even put some Bengay on it. My lower back has been killing me recently, and he used the right amount of pressure, nice and strong with perfect technique. Good amout of oil.
