I have been a loyal member for almost 5 1/2 years. I have been athletic my entire life and work in health and fitness. Well in middle-age, floating has been a necessary and therapeutic service that allows me to continue to stay active, reduce stress, and recover. Upon my last visit, I was informed of the new contrast service. I have never cold plunged before. I regularly utilize the cryo tank at least 4 times a year, so I thought why not? I was a little nervous, but the contrast room has the perfect aesthetic, and the combination of the dry sauna and cold plunge was AMAZING! The cold plunge is not for the faint at heart, but after researching the many benefits, well worth it! After my session, I immediately felt the differences. My body is still reaping the benefits well in 48 hours. I floated first, then did the contrast. For me, my dream recovery and refocus services for mind, body, and spirit! Great job, Float State! My only small disappointment, I miss the old staff and their genuine rapport and personalities. When I came in, they new my name and I felt like family. Now, I just feel like a number. No one is rude or unpleasant, their body language and conversation is just low effort. There are a couple of individuals I know by name, but the enthusiasm isn't the same. I had been doing a lot of research and there are actually no combined float and massage therapy locations anywhere else in the OC, LAC and RC areas so this spot is your go to for sure. This makes Float State more unique and one of a kind. We had never done float therapy, but I wanted to treat the lady friend. We opted for a 1 hour couples float session with music. It was so relaxing and calming. There were times where I felt like I would doze off for a few minutes before waking up. Highly recommended at least once for those that have not tried it. The water is very salty, to say the least haha, so be very careful about not touching your eyes. Float State already has you covered because they provide supplies such as a water spray to clean out your eyes, vinegar and water to clean out the salt in the ears, and petroleum jelly to cover wounds because it will sting. Them being able to provide this truly shows that they care for their clients and want them to not only be relaxed, but also well taken care of health wise. After our 1 hour float session, we had a 1 hour unwind massage session with hot stones. This too was very relaxing, soothing, calming, to the point where my friend dozed off, and that's a huge compliment to the therapists! I will say that the unwind massage is more lax and softer, so to speak, so if you are looking for the strong massages schedule for the deep tissue ones instead. Float State is in a great location and plaza. There is plenty of parking, a good amount of both restaurants and eateries and Dos Lagos cinema is also there, which is a high-end movie theater that I too recommend. Overall, Float State is a great place to do a combined float therapy and massage therapy session, especially for that significant other! You can spend a lovely date session in the area as well before or after the session. We will be back for sure! We definitely want to try the immersive salt cave with the deep tissue recovery so that is next on our list at Float State. If you are planning on booking a couples massage session, I recommend booking a month in advance because you can only book them together if there are at least 2 therapist open at that same time frame. read more

Jackie provided excellent customer service. When we asked questions at the end of our service. It would be helpful if they provided more instructions when you first arrive. They have a lounge in the back for before and after service. Taking your shoes off at the door and you continue to walk around the facilities barefoot. We enjoyed the salt cave. Entering that room hang your items behind the door and there are large towels rolled up on the floor by the door that I would recommend placing on the chairs. They offer two varieties of tea to enjoy while relaxing. And if you like, you can also rake the salt. Nice experience, will definitely return and try other services. Came down to Float State to experience their infrared sauna for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've only been in saunas at gyms in the past. I booked a sauna room with a shower. Upon entering you are asked to remove your shoes. The vibes immediately bring you a sense of calmness and relaxation. I did check in early and was even able to head into the sauna early. They do give you a bit of a buffer to settle in. There are signs with a remote to control the different color settings and their benefits. I have to say that 45 minutes flew by. Fair warning to anyone considering Float State: it used to be good, but the Float State that built its reputation is gone. If you're hoping for the warm, healing, community-oriented space it once was, you'll likely be disappointed. At this point, I'd strongly suggest steering clear and saving your money. I used to be a regular at Float State and genuinely loved it. It once felt like a warm, welcoming, healing space. Somewhere nurturing and human, not just a transaction. Unfortunately, that good old version of Float State no longer exists. What was once inviting and comforting now feels cold, overly corporate, and transactional. The atmosphere has changed in a way that's impossible to ignore, and it's a real loss compared to what this place used to be. The pricing is another major issue. Prices have steadily gone up while the quality of the experience has noticeably gone down. At this point, the services are so expensive that it simply doesn't make sense anymore. I eventually realized it was far cheaper to invest in my own infrared sauna and infrared light panels at home rather than continue paying premium prices here. If you're considering Float State for those services, I'd honestly recommend saving your money and purchasing your own equipment instead. One of the biggest disappointments has been the complete lack of staff retention. The employees and massage therapists were once the heart of this business, and they were a huge reason it felt special. Now it's a revolving door. Don't get attached to anyone. You'll likely come back only to find they're gone. Over time, I also noticed the remaining staff seemed less enthusiastic with each visit. Interactions that once felt warm and genuine now feel rehearsed, robotic, and corporate, which only adds to the sense that the soul of the place has been lost. To make matters worse, standards are clearly slipping. On one visit, I walked into a sauna room to find someone else's dirty socks left behind. That may seem small, but at these prices, basic cleanliness and attention to detail should be a given. If something that obvious can be missed, it raises concerns about the overall hygienic standards of the rest of the facility. It was not reassuring to see something like that overlooked. On top of that, with each visit it seemed like the room setup looked increasingly inconsistent and sloppy from visit to visit as though those tasked with cleaning the rooms didn't actually care, which further erodes confidence. The overall presentation no longer suggests a true five-star business. More like one charging five-star prices while only pretending to deliver a five-star experience. Overall, it's sad to say this, but Float State is no longer what it used to be. What was once a thoughtfully run, people-centered business now feels like an overpriced operation that no longer values its staff or its customers. This isn't a homely place where you go to find healing like it used to be. They clearly just want you to come in, spend ridiculous amounts of money on overpriced services, and get out. I stumbled upon this gem on yelp while I was looking for a place that offers epsom salt baths. Instead of bathing in it, you're actually floating in the epsom salt for an hour. If you're like me and doesn't know how to swim, don't worry, the tub is shallow and also you are guarantee to float due to the amount of salt in it. They offer several rooms, there are big rooms, smaller rooms. The ambiance is very calm and zen with low music and dim lighting. They have a tea area and a lounge area for you to just relax. Also, after your shower, they also have a room where you can dry your hair etc. They offer a range of other services such as the infrared sauna which I absolutely LOVE. The float is AMAZING. highly recommend asking for floating candles and asking for music to be played during your float. They also provide ear plugs which I also recommend using because the salt in the water gets everywhere, and is hard to rinse from ears if not used. I have low back issues and ive never had so much relief on my back and tennis elbow before in my life. Float State is located in Corona at Dos Lagos. There are minimal parking spots front row but a large parking lot directly to the right of the building. The space is very clean and orderly but also welcoming . The staff is very friendly and great at explaining each treatment if you are new to this experience. Shoutout to Erin for being so great ! I personally did cryotherapy, red light sauna, float tank and salt cave . Cryotherapy - smooth, quick and easy process. The animal slippers to keep your feet warm are a nice touch lol ! Red Light Sauna - I loved that you could pick the color lighting while inside for different chakras- I have fertility issues and was happy to see the orange hues focused on reproductive organs so I went with that. After you get out, there is a small fridge with cold towels - very soothing after the sauna. I think having some relaxing music on inside would make it that much better ! Float Tank - it was soothing and having a personal shower in your room is wonderful. Again, the space is very clean! Salt Cave - nice finish to any treatment. For Father's Day, my youngest gifted me a one-hour float in the sensory deprivation tank followed by a one-hour massage at Float State. It was absolutely amazing. So relaxing and restorative. I have had many massages over the years and have spent a lot of time in sensory deprivation tanks. Float State truly impressed me on every level. I wasn't sure how bad traffic would be, so I arrived 30 minutes early and expected to wait, but instead I was warmly welcomed and taken in right away. After removing my shoes and socks at the front entrance, I was shown to the changing room and given a robe. A staff member then gave me a tour of the facility, including the infrared room, the salt room, and a quiet lounge where guests can relax with tea before or after their sessions. That lounge was especially helpful for me, since I tend to feel a bit "massage drunk" after sessions and appreciate a place to sit and gather myself before driving. The attention to detail at Float State is exceptional. The visuals of soothing jellyfish on the TVs, the soft music playing throughout the space, the sound of water during the massage, the high-quality robes and towels, the scent of the soap and shampoo, and even the thoughtful extras in the float room like Vaseline, vinegar, and ear plugs all shows how much care has gone into creating a relaxing experience. I also appreciated how the staff avoided walking through the relaxation area, choosing instead to walk around it to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. My massage was with Shelby, who was outstanding. She asked clear and thoughtful questions beforehand about health conditions, allergies, and preferences. Her communication was excellent, and her massage technique was even better. I told her afterward that it felt like she was reading my body and instinctively knew where to focus. She checked in a few times during the session to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was right. No adjustments were needed. She was amazing. What an experience. My best friends husband treated her and I to a day of relaxation for her bday and we had no clue what to expect. Upon entering the place is very welcoming and calming just the same. We checked in and had to remove our shoes. The offer a selection of slippers, socks or go barefoot so we chose the latter. Then we were walked over to the quiet lounge while our room was prepared and i to the float room we went. We floated together for an hour and just relaxed and enjoyed the down time. It was interestingly relaxing. Then once we washed down and removed our wet clothes it was off to a wonderful and relaxing massage. My therapist hit all of the right spots and off I went. Float State is amazing! My boyfriend and I did the couples package that came with a float session, massages, and your choice of sauna or salt cave room! We chose to do two of our activities from our package which was the salt cave room and float session. It's really easy to book everything online but if you have questions just give them a call and they explain everything so thoroughly! We had never experienced a float session before and it was the most relaxing experience ever. If you're a texture person I can say there is a lot of salt in the float pool to help you float and it can be a bit slimy so if you do not like that sensation on your skin I would recommend skipping out. Otherwise you can choose to do the session with or without music. We chose with music and it was so peaceful. You switch into robes before starting your session and people walk you through everything so you will never feel lost or confused. There's signs everywhere as well if you forget any instructions you're given. There's also a waiting room where you can have water and tea while you wait for everything to be prepared. The salt cave room was so relaxing we both fell asleep and woke up feeling so refreshed. Definitely a fun activity to do with your partner, friends, or even yourself.
