Don't trust this company. They cancelled my booking twice in one day with no explanation. I had to reschedule to the next day, and when I showed up, 15 minutes before the departure time, they waited a full hour AFTER the bus was supposed to arrive to let us know that they'd cancelled that trip as well. Me and the other people waiting at the stop (which was literally just a Walmart parking lot with no signs telling you where the bus was supposed to show up) had to stand outside in 90 degree weather for an hour calling their customer service number trying to figure out what was going on. Every time we called they gave us zero information or updates. Then, out of nowhere, we got an email saying it was cancelled. No context. At least it happened in the city I live in so I wasn't completely stranded, but I know some of the people waiting for that bus didn't live there and they did end up stranded. Never again. I've taken this bus several times between Austin and Houston. It's often late, never Wi-Fi. This late time was my last, the bus was suppose to pick up in the Walmart parking lot, I waited over an hour, finally called the customer service line. The rep insisted I was in the wrong place and missed the bus and refused to offer a refund or even a voucher for another ride. I know where the bus is suppose to pick up, but it must have picked up in a slightly different spot and I didn't notice (?). Stupid on the company's part, I was a regular customer. I should have listened to others' reviews before booking a one way trip to Houston on Flixbus. I reserved a ticket on an 8am bus. The evening before I was notified that the bus was delayed, and the website said it would be leaving at 10:45am. That was annoying but fine. The next morning I checked the website at 7am and it still said it was departing at 10:45am. I checked again at 9:30am and the website said the bus had left at 9:28am. WHAT?! I could not reach anyone in Customer Service by phone, and the online chat agent said he could not confirm whether the bus had left or not. I had to make alternate arrangements to get to Houston. There is a form on the website to request a refund instead of a credit voucher which I filled out and got no response. I finally reached an agent by phone who said I could only receive a credit voucher which was unacceptable. I stopped the credit card payment. read more

I got stranded in Houston in route to Austin. For the original bus I was scheduled for, I received a cancellation email at 4:40 am for a 6:50 am bus ride. An email! I was lucky to look ahead of my 6:50 am bus. They should have left it at that. But what proceeded only caused an infuriating nightmare for multiple dozens of people not just me. They sent a followup email an hour later where they automatically rescheduled me (and dozens of others) for the 8:30 am bus. OK I checked online and everything looked like it was a go. When I arrived at 8:00 am for the bus it was a black cargo van and not a Flix bus at all?!?! The seats were already full and about 15 ppl were standing in the aisle very upset that others took their seats. There were another 20+ ppl standing outside waiting to board "their bus". After an hour of commotion and yelling the bus kicked out the people standing up and literally just left!?! There was no bus afterwards no communication no email NOTHING. This was the most horrific experience ever. Why bother rescheduling for a bus that did not exist? Why have a bus that is not even a bus? So essentially 2 bus full of people heading to Austin were left stranded. Save yourself the headache and just book somewhere else. Customer service was just as clueless and confusing.
