He claimed the driver was there, but we had absolutely checked before shelling out money for another service. I've used every car service in Austin since I don't have a car, live downtown and travel often. Khalid and his team members Omar and Salam are always prompt, efficient and professional. Wether its a date night, large group or early morning airport run you can tell they take pride in their work. I have even started using them to pick up all my clients and guests in town as well as show clients and guests around town if I'm busy. On several occasions they have even gone out of their way to make sure the women in the group felt safe and weren't getting harassed on 6th street. This company and their drivers are phenomenal. They were on-time, professional, great cars. The customer service from the office is exceptional. We booked a curb-side pick-up and were surprised that the driver actually came into the terminal and met us. He was a class act! Every time I have used ExecuCar it has been a great experience. The drivers are all very professional, polite, helpful and they get us to our destination safely. Also, they are always on time and their vehicles are nice and clean. Using ExecuCar relieves the stress of having to catch shuttles or cabs when you're in a strange city. Worst Customer service. First off, good luck getting a hold of anybody. Book many trips with this company and was very pleased. Recently had a trip booked and had to move my return flight. No big deal. Cancelled my res and booked a new one. While I was siting on an airplane getting ready to come home, a local number kept calling my phone. I finally answered to have a horrible representative tell me a drive was outside waiting for me. I explained I had moved the date and time on the pick up. He said he could see this BUT they go off the flight number for pick up time. So I am unable to view the flight information on my app or the website , but I am supposed to know this is accurate. So now they charged me for another ride. I am a very particular person and I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect from my drivers. These guys truly deliver. They treat me very well. I booked a pick up from the airport. Our international flight was delayed, so we were not going to make our connecting flight. I emailed and called the customer service to rearrange the pickup. The person I spoke to said she fixed it. We then received a phone call from the driver stating that we would have to pay for TWO reservations if we wanted to use their service, as a driver had already been dispatched for the original time. First, the driver we finally got was awesome. This is not about him. However, I have never experienced such abysmal customer service. Our flight was late and we missed our connection. I called customer service as soon as we knew we had missed the flight, but the lady said I had called 15 minutes too late and they would not pick us up. She kept saying the policy required an hour, but I did not know an hour before. She would not budge, even though they were going to leave my family (three children, a guest, my wife, and me) stranded. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and the supervisor gave me the same song and dance. I could not believe that a car "service" completely lacked anything resembling "service." However, another person called back about thirty minutes later and profusely apologized and assured me a car and driver would be waiting for me. I am grateful for that and the driver was spectacular in his graciousness and professionalism, but the initial hour of complete lack of customer service is very disturbing. If I had not pressed the issue to the point of becoming very assertive (which made me VERY uncomfortable and upset), we would have been stranded. I reserved a car for my in-laws coming into town for my wedding March 3rd, I included the correct address for the Doubletree Hotel on the reservation. To our horror, my father in law and his wife were instead dropped off at the Doubletree Hotel located at 1617 IH35 North. I understand accidents can happen but when my father in law told the driver the location was incorrect; the driver was adamant the location was correct and drove off leaving my in-laws stranded. Who does this to an older couple in a strange city? The staff of the Doubletree were kind enough to drive my in-laws to the correct hotel. I not only paid the cost of the trip but tipped the driver 20% tip for what? To drop my in laws off at the wrong hotel and leave them stranded? Per the Execu Car website ( Welcome to ExecuCar, the premier luxury sedan service that offers private transportation with experienced professional drivers) the drivers are experienced and professional. The manner in which my in-laws were treated was not professional at all. To add insult to injury; I spoke with Michael Branon Sunday, March 4th regarding this incident and after he investigated he contacted me to apologize and to inform me I would receive a full refund by Friday, March 10th. To date, I have yet to receive a full refund. I have sent a letter to the executive manager (bgross@execucar.com) located in Phoenix regarding the incident and I have yet to hear anything from him either. Needless to say the manner in which my in-laws were treated and the manner in which my refund has been handled; I will not recommend or use Execu Car ever again. read more

I have used this service several times now and have been very satisfied, the drivers are always friendly, yet professional and the vehicles are well kept. The service is always on time and they send text notifications as to their arrivals. The drivers were always waiting at the baggage claim area for us with the fancy little name placards when we've used them for airport trips. read more

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me. So, I guess this is shame on me. But I'm writing the review anyway. Earlier this year, Execucar of Austin failed to pick me up at the airport. I arrived. No driver was there. They'd had me down as a no show, which wasn't true since I'd just gotten off the plane. But, it looked like something had gone wrong with the dispatch and I figured it could happen. I took a taxi home. We had used execucar many times and I'd always been happy before. To be clear, I've used them maybe 15-20 times. Last night, I arrived at the airport, got off my plane, at midnight, with my 9 year old son, and there was no car waiting. I called the dispatch number and they told me that I'd already been picked up. I told them, obviously, that wasn't possible. It was midnight, the scheduled time of my plane arrival, and I was at the airport. How could I have been picked up? They had no answer but there was no car coming for me nor did they make any effort to get me a car. So, at midnight, a woman alone with a 9 year old child, I had to find a taxi to take us home. The man on the phone had no solution except to tell me there was a taxi stand outside. Leaving me at the airport once I can write off, twice is unacceptable. Or maybe once should have been. I'm done. Perhaps they won't care about losing our business but our 15 times a year of using them is over. I've called them today and I got told my case was in front of their manager and they'd call me back. That was hours ago. No phone call yet. Update 24 hours later. Heard from the manager today. They have refunded my money and he was very sorry. read more

Just had a conversation with Jose, the dispatcher at the local Execucar in Austin [(512) 929-3900]. I learned that Super Shuttle no longer owns Execucar, and the company will soon be called Carter Cars (or something like that). I breathed a sigh of relief since after reading all the 2019 reviews, I was scared I would be stuck at the Austin airport in the middle of the night with my daughter and didn't want to end up in someone's Prius (who is pretending to be a legitimate car service). I told him that - and he said very casually that in such an event, if they don't have a town car or a blue bus - they would send me a Lyft... WHAT??? I asked if my money would be refunded (in such an event) and he said 'no'. That the owner would need to use my money to pay for the Lyft. I explained that I could pay for my own Lyft and not pay $65 for it. I was waiting for him to correct himself. Nope. I just cancelled my reservation and I'm grateful for the heads up. At the airport, the driver was waiting for us at the baggage collection and helped us wheel our baggage to the car. The driver was very polite and we had a smooth ride home. When I called to discuss the issue the dispatch manager dismissed me to filling out the review emailed to me and would not even listen to my concerns before saying "I'm disconnecting the call" and hanging up. We have used Execucar's car service for a couple of years and we are now spoiled rotten by their good service. We have one driver who has become our favorite. She invariably shows up well in advance of the appointed time, she is in a stylish and business-like uniform, and her vehicle is spotless inside and out. She is also very good about waiting for us at the airport if our plane gets delayed. What a relief to see our driver after midnight waiting at baggage claim. We rely on this excellent service not only for our airport transfers but to go to events out of walking distance when we plan to have drinks. Highly recommend. read more

Booked an airport pickup for my significant other. No representative was at baggage claim upon their arrive, no communication was attempted to convey the status of the ExecuCar driver to her or myself. I called the local dispatcher, was told that the ExecuCar driver was 30 mins away finishing another drop off and that I could direct my significant other to use the SuperShuttle service as an immediate alternative or wait - at 11PM. No thanks. Was also told that this alternative would be $65 instead of the original $135 for the ExecuCar service. Attempting to prevent any other delays, we opted for the immediate alternative. No problem, right? Wrong - was still billed $135. I've made several attempts to resolve this fraudulent overcharge but the continued lack of customer service leads to leaving your complaint/concern through their online portal and waiting for their response. It has been 3 weeks and I have left several submissions via the company website. No update, no adjustment, no apologies. Simply ridiculous. read more

FRAUD!! DO NOT waste your time or your money. Straight forward: they refuse to refund money for a service they did not deliver. Literally failed to show up for a pick up to the lake then after over a dozen attempts to contact Khalid, he says the driver was outside, but was only contacting Khalid, not me. I had several friends outside and watching for the driver, so he's legit lying. And why on earth wouldn't he give the driver my contact information!?? Because it's easier to steal money that way! Sidenote: Khalid admitted to not giving the driver my info. The best part, zero communication after they realized they mucked up and zero customer service to rectify a situation that's pretty black and white. The "owner" is overseas and unable to answer messages and the individual left in charge (Khalid) literally has zero ability to manage conversations. Khalid is obviously incapable of managing an actual business and refuses to share the contact information for said owner. If you count stealing as a profession, then at that, Khalid does really really well. Really wish I would have read the reviews on this company before hand. Save your time and save yourself the frustration. This company is NOT how Austin handles their customers and their business. read more

Called darn near last minute on a Saturday, during SXSW, and they were able to accommodate my request...miracle! Driver showed up in a suburban, which was nicely kept interiorly/exteriorly and mechanical wise. He was very respectful. Asked if the cabin temp was fine, and if the music was tolerable. Part of my request was to be picked up hours later at the same drop off location. We quickly realized we were ready before the pick up time, so we decided to head to the pick up spot. My wife stated that she hoped he'd be early, and what do u know, he was! When asked, he said "people are usually more then ready before their requested pick up time." All-in-all he was a very courteous and professional driver with very good traffic dodging capabilities. I'll definitely be using their services again, as well as referring their services. Just be aware of a very particular dispatcher. He is very serious about having your pick up and drop off location zip code and physical address ready before you place the call. read more
