Limousine service in Austin is very very expensive compared to other major cities, more than double the price that I would pay in Chicago for example. That aside, Limos of Austin provided excellent service in setting up my ride and being at my location ahead of time. It was an early start (4:30 am pickup for the airport) but my driver kept me informed and sent a text to me when he arrived. The vehicle was an older Escalade, clean but a bit tired. The drive was pleasant and suitably talkative but knew when to quiet the conversation. I got to my destination early. Good service and the price was on par with other Austin services. Our driver Doug arrived promptly in a nice clean late model SUV. Doug, our driver was very polite and friendly and engaged himself in our conversations as we rode. We arrived at our first destination, dinner, even a little early and told Doug we'd give him a text when we were read yo be picked up, likely around 630. At 606 Doug texted to let us know he was on his way trying to get to our location even before we'd asked because he knew there was traffic. ETA 642, then 651. There was good communication about what time he would arrive and that was updated frequently. At 638 we texted letting him know we would be waiting at the door. He finally arrived around 7. I feel like he tried, but did not know his way around the city well enough to get around traffic. Full disclosure I have lived in this area for 50 years and drive for a living, but he mentioned he'd been here for 30 and of course, he's a limo driver so obviously he does too. On the way to our event he took a much more circuitous route than I would have and I mentioned it, but he went his way anyway. Even the map app he was using told him to go the way I suggested. He said we needed to be on the north side (26th street) to get to the event entrance, which is true, but heading up San Jacinto would have accomplished the same thing and avoided the drag. We arrived at the venue well after the beginning of the event and missed the entire first round. He was prompt when picking us up from this event, but he was also parked in the lot at the event. When we arrived home I was a bit put off that because we arrived 30 minutes later than the time we had booked he added that to our bill. Yes, it is 30 minutes after the time allotted, but we also missed 30 minutes of our event. I tipped him roughly 25% of the fare even though a $99 gratuity was already added to the bill as a matter of their business practices. We use limousines about four times a year, but will likely use another company if possible. I want to reiterate that Doug was very friendly and polite. read more

Their service far exceeded our expectations and began the day before, on Christmas Eve. Our driver, Alex, sent me a "hello" text the day before our trip to introduce himself, assure us that he will be on time, and to confirm the pick up address. That text gave us such a relief. The next day was like clockwork. Alex showed up, wore a mask, helped us load our luggage, made my wife and kids comfortable, drove us smoothly to the airport, dropped us off right at the front, and helped us unload. Thank you to (think her name was Sami) who answered the phones to set up the service! I had to call back to change it too, to change to a smaller limo! She was very pleasant and went over everything with me (time, charges, etc). I ordered the limo for my bachelorette party. We did not really drive around that much distance wise, but knew we were going to drink, and did not want to drive. Stephan was our driver, and he was sooo nice! He called when he got to our hotel to let him know he arrived, and to let him know when ready. We called him, and when got downstairs, she showed us everything in the car, like how to work the lights, and if we wanted to plug in our own music. And so happy they provide water, as knew we were going to need that later! We had a couple of stops, and each time he was very gracious in getting the door for all of us. The driver Tryanian was great too- took pictures of our group and was so funny! However the suspension on this vehicle was off bc it made a couple ppl in the group carsick. One of the ladies whose bday it was - felt sick and asked the driver to pull over but he said he couldn't and didn't have any kind of bag handy .. my card got charged an extra 200 without any notice for "cleanup". I would have appreciated some sort of notice and a chance to explain what occurred before the charge was made. Not sure what cleanup costs 200 as it was not on any of the seats. The bus had zero suspension and made me car sick before the party even started. I asked the driver to pull over and told him I wasn't feeling well and he literally said there was nothing he could do about it. Luckily I skipped dinner but still ended up sick. This was my birthday and we were headed to the Madonna concert so I tried not to let it ruin our night. The company ended up charging $200 for clean up and charging a friends credit card without telling us. Obviously if there was a charge I would be handling it, which I told the driver. The whole thing was handled with zero care or customer service. Not to mention I've never been so sick in a bus and there is no way it cost $200. I'm guessing that fee is really meant for younger patrons getting drunk? I don't know but really disappointed in the experience overall. read more

We had an amazing experience. Don was right there on time, actually minutes early. He drove efficiently, calmly, and professionally. We had 1,2,3,4 stops and we had 3 minutes to spare at the end. Starting when I inquired for a quote for a 4 person sedan transportation to the day of the wedding, Limos of Austin has nothing been short of professional.
