Yesterday was my wife's birthday and to enhance such a special occasion, it was her first night out after giving birth to our daughter last month! We had dinner reservations, and I felt that getting a limo to take us there and back would really help make this special day more memorable. Uptown Valet came highly recommended from people I know and they even found a way to exceed our expectations. The car came 20 minutes early, which I appreciated, and when my wife stepped outside to see the limo, she almost wept! Even though I was the surpriser, they found a way to surprise me with a bottle of champagne inside. Our driver, Jacob was such a nice guy and so dutiful! He told us to text him when the waiter gave us the check, and he was right there waiting for us outside the restaurant impressing the other patrons wondering who's limo it was. I am no celebrity, but Uptown Valet surely made us feel like big shots last night and played a major role in giving my wife a birthday she'll never forget! Just had a great experience with Uptown Valet! We rented a van that fit 22 people. It came decked out with an ice chest, party lights, flat screen tvs, surround sound with access to radio, Pandora, and a personal iPhone. Our driver was no less than amazing! He loaded and unloaded all our heavy coolers, bags, and noodles. There's tons of space to put your personal bags and trunk space for whatever you want. I booked a SUV to take us to the Circuit of the Americas and then pick us up afterwards. What a game changer! We had a blast and it was nice not having to worry or wait for a ride. The driver was very professional and and the car was super clean. When he picked us back up, the driver had recleaned it from our trip out and replaced all the complimentary water bottles. My company hired Uptown Valet recently for a large dinner party in downtown Austin. We host a quarterly event with guests from across the nation so there are several logistics involved. The company (Arrington & Jackson, specifically) provided reliable and speedy service for 100+ guests and made it painless. Correspondence/payment was very easy, and every phone call or email was returned right away. The valets did a great job taking care of guests during the event; they addressed safety concerns and pick-up/drop-off locations without needing my direction at all. I always appreciate event staff that can address challenging situations that may arise throughout the evening without needing much direction so that I can manage other aspects of the event. First of all, they were the best deal in town, offered exactly what I wanted, I didn't have to pay for more than I needed. My friend was in town and we wanted to have reliable transportation that was clean and comfortable. Uptown was great! They sent me email confirmations. Used Uptown for Airport service for a very early Saturday morning flight, the driver showed up earlier than he had to, helped me get my bags into the car (my knees aren't in as good as condition as they once were!) and got me to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Thank you to the amazing staff of Uptown Valet for taking such great care of our bride this past weekend! As a Wedding Planner, you hope to never have to deal with a broken down vehicle on the day of the wedding but things can and will happen. What makes an excellent company like Uptown Valet stand out is knowing you can trust how they handle it. Not only were they offering a temporary solution by sending a replacement vehicle out before even calling to let me know what was going on, they were on the phone coordinating with me to make sure the needs of the bride and her family and friends were taken care of. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked out of the hotel to find not only the vehicle we thought was broken down had arrived, but an additional vehicle was there as well. The team of drivers were professional and prompt throughout the day and their vehicles are clean and comfortable. Previous to that, I had a bride whose venue had hired a no name valet service. On the night before the wedding, I received a call from the venue that they had not been able to get in touch with this other company for the last two weeks and weren't sure that anyone would be showing up the next day. One phone call to Arrington and he gathered a team of people together and showed up the next day to the rescue. This company is awesome. We hired a large bus from them to transport our out of town wedding guests to and from our venues. They were very easy to deal with and responded to our emails promptly. We were informed of our driver's contact number as well as a customer service number ahead of our event, should we need it. We did not. Horrible customer service!!! Used their services for my wedding, guests arrived 15 minutes after the ceremony start time and when I called to piece together the events that led to the delay, I was met with defensiveness and different stories from different employees. I was told by the owner that he would look into certain things and get back to me that day. That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard from him. Would most definitely NOT recommend this company!!!!! read more
