Don't want to drive to Austin? This is your answer. My friends and I booked our tickets online. We arrived at Fuel City Taco/Carwash to catch the bus on a Saturday morning. Arrived in Austin within 3ish hours. The sucky thing is the seats are really small. You are cramped up. The charging stations at each seat is just a plug. No USB charging here. The free wifi sucks as well. The good thing is if the bus isn't full you can move to another seat. Our first bus driver was a chatty Kathy, but I had earpods in and watched nexflix on my phone. Our driver on the way home gave a Sunday sermon before we left Austin and it was awkward. All in all. Put your earbuds in and sit back, relax (if there's room) and let someone else take the stress out of your drive to and from Austin. The drive goes by so fast. If you are not familiar with the Megabus system, it may be confusing especially with multiple buses going to different locations. You can check in with the people inside the center by showing your ticket. It is always better to arrive early than late because the buses usually leave on time. I like how there is a waiting area. There are also restrooms. (There are restrooms on the bus too and they're usually clean). Most of the time, there is no Wi-Fi on the Megabus even though they do say they have it. Sometimes the outlets don't work so you should fully charge what you need. It is a good way for an inexpensive longer ride. They can be as low as $1 if you get them early. You do have to ride with strangers though. read more

If you know me, you know that I waited until the last minute to look for a ticket to visit my family in Austin for Thanksgiving. I really wasn't in the mood to drive, last minute ticket prices were outrageous, and the airports would have definitely been insane. Fortunately, a buddy told me about Megabus! "A mega what??!!" I believe was my initial reaction. After hearing a little bit more and taking a look at their website, I purchased a round trip ticket to Austin. I have no regrets. The bus was clean, the drivers were friendly, and the other passengers were all polite and well behaved unlike my experience on another bus line that I used in the past on a couple of occasions. With the exception of the employee who worked at the Downtown Austin location, it was a pleasant experience. Note to the employee at that location: It's not cute when you make disparaging remarks behind a customer's back when the other passengers are looking down your throat...no, Ma'am! That's really the only negative part of my little holiday review. Give Megabus a try. I'll consider them again if I'm traveling to another close Texas city in the future. Wanted a normal trip from Austin to Dallas for back to school. My parents were helping me move my bags onto the bus. The driver was incredibly rude to them and yelled at us for that because he thought they were getting on the bus too. He would not let me put my bags down to hug them goodbye. He was also late and unclear about his arrival. He did not use the intercom for the announcements, so no one heard him. They offered an alternate date but I don't have the option of taking one, nor is one available during the time we need. The station is definitely better than the Houston one (which is a trailer that has no seating or waiting area so your only option is outside in the heat), as there is at least somewhere to sit inside. Other than that, nothing to write home about. I paid the extra couple bucks to pick the "Queen" seat as the guy checking me in referred to it as, and I'm glad I did for my first trip. It's right above the driver on the top tier of the bus. There were outlets everywhere and the seat was comfy. While I obviously could have gotten to my destination faster renting a car, I saved myself a bundle doing it via Megabus and I caught up on some reading at the same time. My ride to Houston was pleasant enough. My ride home I didn't do reserved seating and it ended up being fine (I had a whole row to myself). The only frustrating thing with the drop off on the way home was there was a bus already at the station so our bus had to keep circling until that one moved. If you can be leisurely with your travel and want to be savvy at the same time, Megabus is the way to go. read more

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. My daughter had a ticket on a Megabus from Austin to Dallas (Grand Prairie) on Thursday, October 27th. She arrived at the pick up location 30 minutes before the departure time. The bus was running late and when it finally arrived my daughter tried to pull her ticket up but because of wireless issues in the area it would not pull up. She immediately call Megabus customer service and the operator that answer didn't speak english well enough to understand what the issue was and could not locate the reservation number. Another passenger offered to let my daughter use her hot spot but the bus driver wouldn't let her even stand on the first step to try to connect with the hot spot. At this point the driver stated "I'm already running late, I can't wait for you". AND SHE LEFT MY DAUGHTER STANDING THERE! I understand that my daughter shares some responsibility in all of this as she should have had her ticket already pulled up but the bus driver had a list of reservation numbers so by process of elimination, she should have been able to determine who was not on the bus. Absolutely NO compassion on the bus drivers part. As a result of Megabus's complete indifference to the situation she had to purchase a Greyhound ticket and take a Lyft to a different bus station. So this "inexpensive" Megabus trip has cost her $108 because of the Megabus ticket, the Greyhound ticket and the Lyft ride! I have talked with customer service and they have offered a credit for the Megabus ticket but nothing else. Why would we ever trust Megabus again? Very disappointed in customer service. read more

This was my first time on Megabus from Houston to Austin - I've taken Megabus from DC/NYC NYC/Boston DC/Philly several times. Overall, the Houston trip was great. Way better than the Greyhound, largely because every time I've taken the Greyhound from Houston to Austin someone throws up on me, or the bus has to stop for a medical emergency, or something else happens. The Megabus ride was peachy in comparison. The bus left right on time from Houston. We boarded maybe 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time and arrived a little before our scheduled arrival time. I left from the 815 Pierce St. location, and then the bus picked up more passengers in Northwest Houston. It's definitely better to get on at Pierce St. because you get first pick of the seats. Wifi worked okay, but I wouldn't count on it. Tips: Get someone to drop you off or walk to the bus. Parking is limited/nonexistent. Have the copy of your reservation on your phone or printed out. You have to show it to the attendant before you can get on. If you get motion sickness, sit on the bottom level of the bus. The top of a double decker can feel unstable. Avoid seats near the bathroom if possible. It didn't smell the last time I was on the bus, but you never know what will happen. Bring a bottle of water and some headphones or earplugs. You never know if there will be screaming kids or a cellphone talker on your trip. Good luck! read more

Have you ever in your life taken a long bus trip? You know, in the one with the svelte dog breed logo on the side? Well, if you have, you know that the experience is one to be endured, something that you anticipate with dread. You know it is probably going to involve delays and odors and discomfort and possibly danger. You bring something to read, a few snacks (but not too many, in case a usable bathroom is not available), ultra-minty gum (see above re: odors), you get ready for a long ordeal, and you hope for the best. Well put all of that behind you because Megabus is here! Imagine getting from City A to City B in a clean, new, safe double-decker bus, surrounded by decent folks with great hygiene, taking just slightly more time than it would have in your own car. You can leave for a nonstop trip from Whitis and 21st (near UT) just about any hour of the day, any day of the week, and it will cost you something like $6-10 round trip. What's more, you'll have a restroom, a reclining chair, wi-fi access, and an outlet to power your devices. Wow! The Megabus service is very new to Austin, so right now, there are only a few direct destinations (San Antonio, DFW, and Houston amoung them), but others are sure to come in the future. From Houston, they offer 19 destinations from which to choose, including New Orleans (okay, that one is around $25 each way, but that's still a great deal)! Pricing for different routes can vary greatly on the demand for the particular trip and tends to increase as you get closer to your departure date, so you will get the very best deal if you schedule as far in advance as possible and choose dates/times when others may not want to travel. This is why you may logon one day and see a fare of $1, and then check a few weeks later and see the price for the same trip go up to $10. This also means any last-minute trips or attempts to change your departure time on your day of travel will probably cost you a pretty penny, but it's still cheaper than the canine line. My adult nephew (who has a disability that makes driving not feasible) has been using Megabus for a few months now for regional trips between San Antonio and Austin, as well as between San Antonio and Houston. He is an extremely tough customer (especially with regard to cleanliness and reliability) and even he has had nothing but praise for Megabus. Our family has been so thankful to have this service available to allow him more freedom to travel independently and at a price point that he can afford on a fixed income. We are looking forward to them adding more destinations. read more

Only one star because there was not a star for 1/100. Took Megabus from Austin to Dallas. It was late afternoon when we left. Driver could not close luggage door. A high school girl got it closed. The driver was an older man. He did not stay in his lane very well. He would either think he was lost or really get lost (which he did several times.) and he would yell and cry. He would yell at me to read the signs and did I even know how to read. (I am almost legally blind, thus the bus.) No one else was sitting toward the front. He got lost in Dallas and was literally driving down narrow streets in subdivisions, scratching some cars and breaking branches. I tried to call emergency but the wifi was not working. When we finally got to the stop in Dallas we were almost 3 hrs late. The next day I tried calling and filing a report but could not contact Megabus no matter what I tried. I will NEVER again give megabus my business. The drivers are evidently not tested or checked on. When you need emergency services they don't work. I have never been so scared and upset in all my life. By the way, I lost my Kindle and headphones on that harrowing trip and nothing was ever done to find it. Please, no matter how many dollars you may save to travel, is your LIFE really worth this neglect, abuse, ignoring and just plain dangerous? Go on VonLane instead. read more

I've had family visit me from Houston and San Antonio several times and each time they enjoy the ride. The delay, at most, was 10 minutes. The seats were comfortable and employees friendly. My niece, who's in her late 20's, did think the drop off in Austin seemed like a shady place. She is riding it again though to come for my birthday weekend so it couldn't be that bad. She didn't even consider driving. We've been able to score $4 tickets each time we travel Tuesday through Thursday and we order last minute. They do still have $1 tickets by the way. I rode the MEGABUS! I first laid eyes on this Double Decker, Big Blue Bus driving down IH35 a year ago. If you drive the I35 corridor you are bound to have seen it. The entire front of the second level is glass and allows you to see those brave souls that have opted to ride in seats that are glass from head to foot. Sometimes I actually wave to them from my sun roof. Not sure what it is that tickles me when I see them riding down the road. Maybe it's the fact that they remind me of the tour buses that I have used in some of the largest cities in Europe, the UK and NYC. Yep, thats me. I'm the goofy lady that likes to, on occasion hop aboard, rest my feet and listen to the banter of the tour guides on those big, obnoxious tour buses. I also use the tubes, subways and trains but nothing can beat the big red buses they're just plain fun! The MEGABUS reminds me of those buses with a few great exceptions, MEGABUS comes with WIFI, electrical outlets for each seat, and an on bus restroom. Well as fate would have it my opportunity to ride the MEGABUS came up last week. I kinda, needed to go to Dallas to help someone drive their car to Austin. I have done this before and usually hop the SWA flight from Austin to Lovefield. I had short notice so the SWA flight was too pricey so I decided to check out da bus. For a mere 35 dollars I could hop the MEGABUS to downtown Dallas. Had I planned ahead the same ride would have only cost $10! Yep thats it, with a little advanced notice you can ride to Dallas from Austin(nonstop) for $10. A roundtrip ticket would cost you a whopping $20. I rode it the Friday before Spring Break so the bus was loaded down with college students going North for the break. There were also a few business men in suits who appeared to be using the bus for work. I sat next to a women who uses it twice a month for work related purposes. She actually got on in San Antonio where the route originates. She has used it twice a month for nearly a year without so much as a glitch. She said she usually works or sleeps and that if it were not for all the Spring breakers the bus would have almost half the passengers on it as it did that day. Our route was scheduled to leave Austin at 6:30am, we left around 6:50am however, we arrived in Dallas an entire 20min early. The buses loads near the Dobie here in Austin from there you go to downtown Dallas near the arts district. From Dallas it continues on to Grand Prairie. There are also two areas on the first level that have sections with a small table between them so that a group of four or less can ride sitting face to face to visit, play cards, conduct business or a study group! The Dallas stop is literally within walking distance (1/2 mile to be exact) to some of the finest museums in the state of Texas as well as the new Klyde Warren Park. I would totally use this service again if I had too. What other mode of transportation can you use that offers up all the services for a very low price, gets you to where you need to be on time and makes you one of the coolest people around? . read more

Seems like a pretty good service. The buses are modern and clean, with a 2-prong electrical outlet for every seat. There is wifi on the bus but it works only intermittently. All you need to board the bus is the reservation number, which most people show from the email on their phone. You can check a bag (free). The space for a carry-on bag is only under the seat. There's no overhead racks. It looks like the bus departure from Austin is always late. My departure to Dallas was an hour late and arrival back was about 30 minutes later than predicted, so I assume everyone going to San Antonio was a bit late too. So you might have to wait a while in the little parking lot next to the Dobie Mall. There are public bathrooms in the mall. People line up but there's probably no disadvantage to being the last person on the bus. I'd prefer the extra space of an aisle seat and at least going to San Antonio or Dallas, there's already people on the bus in most of the window seats. The arrival spot in downtown Dallas at the East Transit Center is much more convenient to other public transit than it is here in Austin. At any stop you might want a hat so you don't get sunburned if the bus is an hour late. read more

I usually drive myself from Austin to Houston and back, for all kinds of reasons -- weddings, seeing my family, and so on -- but on the DAY BEFORE I was going to leave for Houston for my sister's wedding reception, I got hit by another car. I couldn't drive to Houston because my car was wrecked. (Luckily, I was not injured so my body could still make it to Houston.) I researched a bunch of options and discovered Megabus. One, I can't believe how cheap the tickets are. I bought mine the day before I left and it was only $10. Two, I can't believe how cushy the ride was. It's a double-decker bus (I sat in the top level so I could see more of 290, and it was pretty cool), two seats to a row, and it was uncrowded enough that most of the passengers got a row to themselves. Another review mentioned reclining chairs, but I don't think my seat reclined. But it was all right. Three, the on-board toilet is pretty great. I liked knowing that I was still hurtling along at 65mph to Houston while in the bathroom, when usually a bathroom break meant losing 10 minutes of travel time because of deceleration, pulling over at a gas station, and getting back on the road. Megabus -- at least the one I rode -- stops at a random Shell station at 1960 and 290, and then again downtown at the Greyhound station. Neither stops are very convenient, since none of my folks live anywhere near either location, but that's a small complaint. I definitely prefer to keep driving my own car to Houston so that I can get around on my own, straight to my destination, at the time that I want... but Megabus is a great alternative for people who don't have transportation or don't want to spend $40 on gas to get there and back. read more

Smooth Holiday Travel! My favorite bus driver is Lisa Brown-Griffin! She is an excellent driver and very kind and professional! I observed her treating each of the passengers with kindness and respect throughout the ride! She's just soooooo good! In my experience, it's an anomaly to have had such a great bus ride! Lisa took such great care in her driving and communicating with the passengers. For example, she went the extra mile with one of the passengers who was confused when he got off the bus. She patiently explained to him where he was, and she even spoke with his family providing instructions on how to pick him up. She literally checked all the boxes! She was welcoming, she was kind, she was patient, she communicated very well and her driving was excellent!! This was the smoothest, the quietest, the most comfortable ride that I have ever experienced! If it were up to me, she would be my only driver for all future trips!! read more

This is not a good bus service. We took this bus from San Antonio to Austin. The bus picked up in San Antonio in a remote parking lot that was 2-3 miles from downtown. There was no place to stand in the lot to get out of the wind (it was about 50 degrees) and no bathrooms. The bus was 15 min late arriving at the lot even though we were the first stop. We were 20 minutes late arriving in Austin. The seats are ok - leather but not especially big or comfortable - but there is nothing about this bus that would make you think it is a luxury bus except the name. It is a greyhound with a price markup but without even the mediocre service of Greyhound and only two trips per day. The internet did not work at any point on the trip. To top it off, the driver (Paul Booker) was obnoxious and the opposite of professional. He spent most of the ride yelling over the mike about people sitting in reserved seats who didn't pay for them, even though most of the passengers did pay for them. At the end of the ride when we were in Austin he chased me to the back of the bus to yell at me for for exiting through the front door, the same door we entered through, despite the fact that it was the only open door and he asked for everyone to exit. read more

The bus station staff were friendly, the bus was clean and they have USB plugs and wifi. I would recommend paying the extra $1 for a reserved seat. Absolute bullshit. The bus was 2 hours late. I was supposed to leave at 10 pm from Austin to Houston because I have work in the morning at 6am. However, 20 minutes before the bus is scheduled to be here, I am informed that it will be 2 hours behind. Now, I have to skip work tomorrow. The Mega bus driver will make your trip misery and unpredictable. On or about December 18, 2020, me and my family flew Southwest to Dallas to my brother "s university graduation . We paid for Mega bus to rush back to Houston . In Dallas bus stop at Megabus, The driver's name is Ms Lisa and the bus number is 49060. The driver Ms Lisa asked a Chinese lady to move away because it's my mom's seat number and she refused several times . My mum said that it's okay because the bus is very scant and she can seat a a different place. After sometime the lady got her receipt and she was right to seat their then the driver asked my mom to seat close to her which is. 23. My mom said that she can seat a little far since the driver wanted the lady staying that bus is maintsing social distance. Ms Lisa became angry and asked my mom and brother to step down the bus. My family obeyed and the driver said she will not allow us to enter the bus and we should take our luggage to leave. The bus left with not more than 13 people in the bus and it messed our plan up. Lisa was the worst, most disrespectful driver I have ever encountered!!! A girl tried to carry my extra backpack for me as she only had one piece of luggage, and she almost didn't allow this girl onto the bus. The driver took this girl carrying my backpack for me as major disrespect towards the driver, although the girl was very calm and answered all the driver's questions with a calm tone. Rather, the driver yelled at her for 10 minutes and almost didn't allow her on the bus bc of her "attitude" when in reality the girl remained calm. The driver had no right to yell at this literal teenager as a grown ass woman. The girl was heavily shaken up after and on the verge of tears after being screamed at. Megabus is great if you like a great deal on luxury features that don't work well if at all. It's great if you don't mind waiting an hour extra for a bus every other time, and an additional hour always to arrive at your destination. It's great if you are no more than 1 foot wide and 5 ft tall, or else like having seat belt buckles pressed on your ass and being stuck in major discomfort in one spot for 1-20 hours. If you like being treated like a walking commodity, or just another seat-filler that has no problem with even the worst service, stuffed in a rolling sardine tin which absolutely must be filled to the very last seat every single time, then Megabus is right for you. If, however, you want to be treated like a paying customer that has human needs, if you like punctuality, or being comfortable when stuck sitting in one spot for several hours, if you like customer service and not customer neglect and abuse, you will probably want to look elsewhere for a ride. read more

This is for the Austin/Dallas & return run. Mistress Linda and I took the Megabus to Dallas to catch a Red Wings Vs Dallas Stars Hockey game. We didn't want to drive, the Amtrak is about a 6 hour ride, and a flight was too expensive. So when we heard about Megabus We thought we'd give it a try. I'm glad we did! This is a no frills way to travel but much better than Greyhound, much cheaper than a flight and much faster than Amtrak. It's a good idea and I hope it sticks around. But there are a few things to look out for and here they are: First, PARKING. Parking is a pain. There is no long term parking at the (tiny) Megabus pickup point. There is, however long term parking at the Dobie parking across the street for $20.00/night. This is about the same as hotel parking downtown. But when you go, go to the pay window first and tell them you are taking the Megabus so you can get the special tag to hang on your rear view mirror. Otherwise you may well get towed. Second, GET THERE EARLY! There is no waiting room, as noted below. Just a line of people waiting to get on the bus when it arrives. There is a temporary shade stand that about 10 people can stand under. This is worth arriving early for, especially when it rains. Also seating is first come first seated with no seat numbers so don't be the one that has to ride bitch next to the driver. We had one bag between us and there was no issue having it loaded. Third, BRING YOUR RESERVATION! Way too many people just showed up and said they booked. Print out your reservation for BOTH legs. Fourth, BRING SOMETHING TO DRINK. It's a long ride, whether it's Dallas, San Antone or Houston. A bottle of water is a good thing around Waco. Fifth, PICK YOUR EXPERIENCE. Upper deck is really cool for viewing the scenery, but a bit rugged to get to the bathroom (yep, there is a bathroom and it works), the bottom level has two elevations. The left side is higher and, in my opinion, better. They both have 3 prong outlets but the lower section gets you out the door sooner. Wi-Fi is available on both levels. It's a bit shakey at times but it beats nothing. And remember the 3 prong outlets. You can plug in your laptop/tablet/phone, so bring your cords. Sixth, and this is important, KNOW WHERE YOU ARE WHEN YOU GET OFF. The let us off at the DART station downtown, which is great except there are no cabs there so we had to hump our bags about 2 blocks to the Sheraton to get one. These are the big points. The seats are comfortable, there is no 'Greyhound Smell' that I remember from years ago riding the dog. And it gets you there efficiently and safely. Lisa is the rudest bus driver I have ever encountered. There was a misunderstanding with the number of bags allowed on the bus (2 per person) & I offered to carry a girls bag because she had 3 and I had 1. Doing the math that is 2 bags per person so I don't understand why that was a problem in the first place. She threatened to send the girl inside along with myself for "inserting myself in the problem" and asked me the same question 3 times, which I answered the exact same all 3 times. She proceeded to raise her voice and talk down to me about how I should have known there was a specification for which city I was traveling to, which I had named all 3 times. I placed my bag under the bus myself since she refused to put my bag in the bus. I did not raise my voice or say anything disrespectful and tried explaining that I was not causing any problems to begin with, only trying to do something very normal for another person that had absolutely no effect on anyone or anything else. She then proceeded to lecture me about my attitude for 5 minutes, whilst everyone was waiting on the bus. I just stopped talking and let her finish her rant, apologized for the misunderstanding while not understanding the misunderstanding in the first place & she allowed me on the bus. read more

AUS to HOUS: 4 solid stars HOUS to AUS: 1 star and 25 fly-by bird poops AUS to HOUS: Wifi? Check Working plug ins? Check Two-tiered seating? Check Timely departure? Check Petri-dish like warm air piping in to create new antibiotic-resistant bacteria? Checkedy check Overall, not too much to hate on except that I worried about catching something gross from the oddly tropical, warm air wafting in. Bring some antibacteria wipes to clean your space up. I got my own two-seater to do what I wished with. The pick up is just 1 block east of the Schlotsky's on campus. For the price, it was worth it. HOUS to AUS: Megabus? NOPE This was a bus. A regular ol' bus. No wifi, no plug ins, no second story. Air newly manufactured in Siberia was streaming in, and when the driver said thanks for riding "Coach" I wanted to pull up my reservation number and say "MEGABUS! THERE IS NO MEGA! IT IS ONLY BUS!!!" Hi there. I'm writing this review on the top level of a delightful double decker Megabus. By the time I complete this review, I will have written and sent four work emails. Some of them were delayed in sending, but they all were sent indeed. If I needed to, I could have also connected to a work network. For work things. Earlier I rode a city bus to UT campus, handed my one allowed suitcase to personnel who asked which Houston stop I was headed to, and stored my suitcase accordingly. I boarded my Megabus. I walked upstairs to find my awesome time-traveling Blueberry friend who bought me a sandwich so I wouldn't hulk out on some poor soul. I ate it beneath our bus-length sky light. We left promptly on time. You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry. Much earlier I purchased my AUS to HOU and returning trips on the Megabus website. It took me some time to select which departure times and locations within Houston, because I had to arrange pick up and drop off rides in both cities. Now I'm headed to Houston, but I could've also been heading to Dallas or San Antonio. I'm wearing a seat belt. My seat reclines. I'm charging my laptop using the electrical outlet provided between every two seats. It's rush hour driving south on I-35 but I'm not driving so I'm marveling at a brilliant orange and pink sunset over Town Lake. Now it's night time. There are green overhead lights. My ears feel like they're popping. Maybe traversing Texas Hill Country feels different on the upper level of a double decker. If I need to use the bathroom, there are two right here. I admire how all space is utilized in here. My laptop is now at 99%. Blueberry is sleeping. She looks cute when she's mega tired. This weekend is going to be a mega trip. Down here, the air is way less humid than it was upstairs a few days ago. Also, that much less feeling of traipsing through the Amazon. There are tiny desks down here, but electrical outlets are overhead nearest windows. Earlier, I was standing in line with other HOU-to-AUS passengers at Katy Mills Mall. A good portion of passengers are multilingual, and I suspect many study or work at UT. Arrive early to board early/steal the best desk window seats. The time it took for all queued passengers to check in and board was minimal. Much earlier, there was St. Arnold's brewery, girl talk, plans for Rodeo/salsa, tequila, ignoring football in favor of duck confit, octopus, burning thighs, tequilas, Beyonce, catwalk dance off's, blueberry pancakes, and seeing Guadalajara, Good Seafood Co., Cavendar's, Becks Prime, Dairy Ashford Roller Rink, and my old dollar cinema were still standing. It's exactly what you would expect for cheap transportation. I took my first trip from Dallas to Austin. I'm going to touch on a few main points: Timing: the ETA online was in 11:30. The bus left at 6:30 and on time. When we started Rollin, the driver announced that we would be there at 12:00 (30 mins after the ETA posted online). We actually made it there around 11:45. Not bad. WiFi: painfully slow. They also blocked Pandora, Netflix, and Hulu. If you want entertainment during the ride, I reccomend bringing a DVD. The wifi is good for really light browsing, like Facebook. Bus: it has a restroom on board. It wasnt brand new but not torn down. Not bad. Luggage: I brought one small suitcase and a backpack without any problems. Price: such a steal! I booked last minute for $20 but if you plan ahead a little, you can get a ride for $1. I just booked my trip back to Dallas, about 3 days in advance, for $12! read more

I have to say that Customer Service with Mega Bus is very professional!! The prices are reasonable compared to the Grey Hound prices. The bus operator is a great driver! Very informative and let you know the time frame of arrival. My experience has been above & beyond what I would have expected!
