We are never disappointed at Jimmy's. And, sometimes our favorite eatery gets attention from world…read moretravelers. Recently a friend was coming to visit. We sent him links to three great Herndon eateries. He responded, "Oh, Jimmy's has the menu with the most to offer." Fast forward, we're at JOTT - I order my fav - the Buffalo Wrap...so good! Hubs orders his fav - the Philly Cheesesteak. Our friend, the world traveler ordered the noodle soup - which he devoured - and, the salmon salad. He clearly enjoyed his meal. A few days later, he's traveling again and reviewed a meal at a place in another town, in another country... "The salmon was just OK. (If you want salmon, you are better off going to Jimmy's Tavern in Herndon!) We couldn't agree more.

The staff are THE coolest ever. Austin P was our server and he is a ROCKSTAR! Then there is the whole reason we came here, the food! We had Mozzarella Sticks and Spinach Artichoke Dip to start. TheMozz Sticks were HUGE! The dip was the cheesiest I've ever had. Next we had 2 different Cheesesteaks, a South Philly and a Jersey/Philly; the Buffalo Platter and a Beef on a Weck. Amazing! Exactly what we were craving! You nailed the Weck Bun and your horseradish is legit! OH and the Coleslaw, spot on! This is definitely a new spot for us!

This was my second visit to this location…read more As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by staff members. They let me check out the place before being seated. The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. There is plenty of parking available in nearby garages, I believe free after 5pm. There is also timed/paid parallel parking. Would I return? definitely!

They were HUGE and generously topped with lots of goodies! We planned on ordering entrees after but were too full for anything else! Our server was very attentive and helpful, despite our limited ordering. I will return and am giving this 3 stars just because of my limited experience, but I will be back!

Carpool - The king of burgers, "Fat Elvis", good char on the patties and all the flavors harmonized together, well worth the experience.

Burger Review: The Fat Elvis Is King! I came here purely for…read morea gathering of friends not planning to eat but after peeking at their menu and seeing their burger options I felt the need to try them out. Lots of options but the one that really stood out to me was one called "Fat Elvis", which comes stacked with American and cheddar cheese, spicy candied bacon, banana compote, and peanut butter. Yes, you read that right--peanut butter. This ain't my first rodeo trying peanut on a burger so trust me when I say somehow, it totally works. The sweet-and-savory combo is bold, a little outrageous, and absolutely delicious. The banana compote adds a warm, caramelized depth, the bacon brings a little heat and crunch, and the peanut butter ties it all together in the richest, most unexpected way. The patties themselves were juicy and cooked just right, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy. Bonus points for the generous portion--it's a two-hander for sure. I opted for a side salad instead of fries (balance, right?) and even that was fresh and full of color, topped with shredded cheese, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and crunchy croutons. The ranch dressing was a little thin and not quite as creamy as I'm used to but was good. Check out my photos if you want a visual warning of what you're getting into. Spoiler: it's a glorious mess, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. If you're into Elvis, wild flavor combos, or just love a burger that dares to be different, you need to try this. Side note: ended up ordering a bunch more food to go that I didn't get pictures of, wife got a CYO burger she devoured, I ordered some of their tacos which while a little pricey, the portion size and flavor of the quesabirria ones made up for it, even tried out some of their wings with the smoked lemon pepper dry rub and we're pretty solid even warmed up the next day. Lots of food options and may end up going back sometime to try some more things out. Service was great as well, place was jam packed but they had plenty of staff to stay attentive and keep things moving.

Plenty of parking outside the front. The service is great…read more The food is bar food ( fries, wings, burgers). Great music inside. A super chill bar to hang out with friends and have a great time. Never any issues. Never seen a fight. And staff and security guards are super helpful.
