MEAT Me At Fleur Omelette
Michael M.

This is a great cafe to have breakfast. The service is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed the decor and the plants everywhere. While I ate, I was serenaded by the sounds of soothing music and pianists playing. The food was decent. I ordered the Meat Me @ Fleur Omelette with a side of garlic fries and toast. This place is a great way to start your day!

Atmosphere: This café is very small, with just a few tables inside and a couple outside, but it's cute and decorated with lots of plants. They also sell small potted plants in the front, which adds to the charm. It has a cozy vibe, almost like they're going for a "cutesy" aesthetic. Parking: There's no private parking, so you'll need to use metered parking right in front. Be prepared to pay a little extra for that. Food: We came mainly for the chilaquiles and tried both red and green. The plates were big, which was nice, and the salsa on them was flavorful. One downside is that they don't include meat. My sister upgraded to add steak, and that was almost $8 more, which felt a little pricey. We also tried a slice of banana bread, but unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy that. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time overall. Drinks & Extras: I ordered a hot latte, and it was really good. They also sell bread in the front, which is a nice touch. Service: The service was good, and since we were the only ones dining in at the time, it was quiet and not rushed at all. They take cards (and likely cash too). Overall: It's a small, cute café that feels welcoming and has good service. The food portions are generous and the salsa is tasty, but just know that adding meat will cost quite a bit more, and not everything (like the banana bread) hit the mark for us. Still, it's a nice little spot to try if you're nearby. Rating: I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars -- good experience overall, with tasty chilaquiles and nice service, but the price for extras and the banana bread bring it down a notch.

This is one of my favorite breakfast cafes. Locally owned, the food is amazing, and the staff treat you like family. Love the 2+2+2. You can even ask them to add peppers & onions to the eggs and potatoes (definitely recommend). Everything I've had off the menu is filled with flavor and love. The lemonades are also soooo good.

Breakfast Burrito was very big. It was lacking in flavor. Omelette with spinach more salty than I expected. Banana bread was good. Orange juice was very fresh. It was a to-go order so service as usual.

Yes I recommend this spot. Friendliest service and cute little space. My friends and I would definitely return when in LA. Generous portions and delicious most importantly.

I stopped in for breakfast and to finish reading a book, and this was the perfect place for both! I got the breakfast combo with banana pancakes, scrambled eggs, two sausages, and potatoes. I also got a hot hazelnut latte. I recommend all of the above for a simple, filling breakfast, and the cafe ambience was perfect for the progress I needed to make on my book!

Green smoothie. Chicken, apple, mint, and date salad.

Ordered take-out, which was easy and efficient. I got the green smoothie at the recommendation of the staff, which was a great texture! I don't like green smoothies that are too juicy or tart. This one was just the right amount of smooth and creamy. The salad I got was great too! The chicken came on the side and isn't pictured. The salad came has apples, dates, bell pepper, and mint, which was a refreshing mix of flavors.

My order arrived luke warm but it did taste decent. The waitress had an attitude for no reason, maybe she was having a bad day? Everything in the photo cost $30 (including tip) I didn't think this place was worth it at all.

I was pleased to get some Cafe Dulce nearby while I shopped at Trader Joe's and Target in the USC village. This cafe does have a top of the range Vietnamese coffee...a joyous cup that does no harm. I ordered a limited time drink they were promoting. A salted caramel latte. Now I know myself too well...that I should always stay loyal to my coffee choices and stick with the minimum sugar intake. The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. Those are always on my inviting side for Cafe Dulce. Their Little Tokyo location is also a great visit experience. They have some tasty breakfast burritos there. Other than that, a great cafe to check out with plenty of college students here minding their business.

That is why this location is being rated a 1 star, overall bad experience. Look at my pictures... I placed my order at 4:04pm, they took about 10 minutes or 13 to give me my order, we got asked to leave at 4:20pm and when I asked the cashier if he could validate my parking he said " we don't validate here, but you can ask the guy with the vest!." So I did and he told me the same thing "we don't validate" after being asked to leave we paid a $20 fee at 4:37pm. Parking here may be difficult to find on the street, but they do have valet, too. On a Saturday afternoon, this spot is packed and quite hard to find a place to sit. Wi-Fi is available, though note that plugs and seating may be another issue. Not every spot comes with a plug, and it's going to be full, so you may need to wait 15-20 minutes. It is indeed a small spot, so if you're looking for a quiet spot to work, this might not be it. The interior decor, though, is quite clean aesthetically and is relaxing to work in. The Matcha Latte, though, let me say if you're in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, this will keep you energized, even without the sugar! The café is located within an apartment complex and offers underground parking, which the coffee shop validates the first hour is only $3. Street parking is also available. The outdoor area feels like a balcony terrace combo with a small but lovely view of the LA skyline. We sat here and our doggo enjoyed a nap in the sun. It's a great spot to work, study, or catch up with friends without feeling cramped or rushed. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. They offer a nice variety of drinks, and we ordered an iced matcha latte and a hot Madagascar vanilla latte. For pastries, we chose a guava madeleine and a cookie butter madeleine. Everything is made fresh, and they actually whisk the matcha for each drink, which really shows in the quality. Our drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I went on a Monday around 5 PM and they had no food available, which was disappointing because the kimchi fried rice sounded amazing. I ordered the matcha, and it was genuinely excellent. The foam had a slight saltiness to it that paired really well with the drink, and the matcha itself tasted high quality. I wouldn't change anything about it. My drink came out to around $9 including tip. Overall, I really liked this place and would probably come here often if I lived nearby. Between the expensive parking, limited outlet-to-seat ratio, and lack of food during my visit, I'd give it a solid 4/5.
