    Party favors for NYE

We were very fortunate to get last minute NYE dinner reservation. We were on Holiday and unfamiliar with the area so we went off reviews and availability. When I walked into the building I felt relief, everything looked beautiful, we were seated upstairs in the green patio with panoramic views of the city. The air and ambiance felt magical. Dinner was prefixed , well plated and everything we ordered was delicious. We will return!

Eggs Royale (Bennie with salmon) and tasty sweet potatoes

Laid-back, sunny cafe with industrial design warmly softened with tapestry banquettes and craftsman wood chairs. Great coffee and attentive service. Eggs Benedict were well presented and tasty but not exceptional. Lovely place to read and chill before my cruise. Good location. If you're needing groceries, turn right out the front door and you'll be at Aldi.

A very nice healthy restaurant with a cool menu, however no "meat options" mainly eggs and other non meat for protein. The decor here is beautiful and great to go for brunch. Two amazing floors with an outside seating on the second floor.

Flax and kale is a delicious restaurant that was super close to my hotel in Barcelona. It is a huge restaurant with two stories and delicious food. They also offer retail of their delicious Kombucha and cold pressed juices. Their menu is extensive with healthier options and many vegan and vegetarian dishes. The menu comes in three languages Catalan, English and Spanish. Upstairs on their Terrance there are seats surrounding their farm to table garden as well. I got the salmon sliders with fresh cut sweet potatoes in a fry shape and their kombucha. I actually went back 3x during my stay for their kombucha to go and everything I tried was delicious but my favorite was the cola flavor.

Lovely lovely atmosphere. Reminded me of a Californian brunch place. So many food selections all the way from Korean bowls to burgers and tacos. The prices are very reasonable given how much thought goes into the ingredients, flavor profile and presentation of the dishes. The smoothies are unique and are a must try. Serving size is very respectable. If it's a nice sunny day, definitely try to get seating on the terrace.

Went to flax and kale for a brunch and loved the ambiance and the food. I felt like the portions were just the right size and it all tasted very fresh and healthy. The service was great and it made for a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Good location in the center of La Roca Village. Take a rest and continue shopping. Latte is highly recommended.

Needed something healthy after all the paella and sangria. This was a nice change of pace. This is the best poke bowl I've had. I wanted to try everything on the menu.

Spain is synonymous with tapas. But sometimes you got to listen to your body and eat some greens! Having had my body 98% composed of tapas for nearly a week, I was in need of some serious veggies. Not going to lie, I honestly thought this was going to be some disappointing hipster place. Saw the picture of the restaurant and figured the high ratings were due to the decor and non-foodies. But I'm happy that wasn't the case! We stopped in for lunch. Had the option of sitting on the terrace or inside. Due to the heat wave, we opted for the air condition indoor seating. The decor is cute. But if it was cooler, I highly recommend choosing the terrace! Took a peek when I headed upstairs to the restroom at the end of our meal and instantly wished we chose the terrace. (Side note: the restroom is cute! Yes you read that right, haha.) The waiters were friendly. Even though we didn't know Spanish, language wasn't an issue since the staff were fluent in English as well. My biggest gripe was that an extra kombucha was brought to us, even though we didn't order it. I could've easily sent it back, but I drank it anyway since my gut needed some TLC. Now onto the food! Not only is the presentation visually pleasing, it's also a delight on the taste buds. All the dishes here has a clean and light taste to it. The Teresa's Favourite Kale Salad was filling. Added the anchovy option. Was my first time trying anchovy and it was actually pretty good! Nothing horrible like I had imagined. The kale and cherry tomatoes were refreshing. And this also applies to the pasta as well, the Supertagliatelle. And for those who never had spirulina, you can't taste it in the pasta. The salmon that came with it was perfectly seasoned and well done. Definitely don't skip out on getting this dish. Now I wish there was a Flax & Kale here in LA. Here's to clean eating in Barcelona!

/)/) ( . .) ( づ I loved this place so much I went there twice during my 4 days stay here. Highly recommend the açaí bowl (only on weekends). The tuna and yellowfin tacos were the best, don't really liked the salmon taco. Really liked the bread from the scrambled eggs dish. Was hoping for more from the paleo bread (was still good but wouldn't recommend ordering it). Nachos is a must. The cheese was sooooo goood wow. the tuna burger was really not that great but the risotto was so nutty and delish! Worth going! Prices are not too high.

Funghi Coconut Toast (looks questionable but tastes amazing!)

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

Our server, Amaya, was funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. He took great care of us, and every single recommendation he made was delicious. The highlights for us were the Bacalao -- so tender and full of flavor -- and honestly the best octopus I've ever had in my life. We also loved the soft steak with duck liver served on a slice of French baguette, the shrimp skewers, patatas, and the Spanish ham with tomato toasts. Every dish was unforgettable. While all of the food was great, for me the codfish was hands-down the star of the show and probably one of the best dishes that I ate on the trip. The flavor of the sauce combined with the texture of the fish actually blew me away, and I can see why my server highly recommended this to me. It was almost like a paella curry, which was still rich and delicious. - Squid Sandwich (10/10) This is hands down the best appetizer I've ever had. The squid was packed with flavor and the mayo sauce they used paired perfectly. Order one per person, and be prepared to order another to go. - Garlic Shrimp (8/10) Solid entree paired with sourdough bread.
