Everything was delicious!!!!!! I wanted to have brunch, i checked on yelp this place and it was close to my hotel, so i went . I was kind of sick of Spanish food i wanted pancakes, waffles . We tried lots of things in the menu and everything was delicious and well portioned!! The place has A/C which in summer you will appreciate if you are in barcelona. Simply decor, not fancy bit the dishes are well presented and very tasty! I am glad i got to know this place!! The service was bizarre: initially responsive and then randomly long lapses in attention after that. Bottled water is brought out, but no glasses. Dishes appear haphazardly -- how does it take to cook pancakes? Or a burger? Hours drift by. The single waitstaff is running hither and thither but without much of a plan. The table next to us leaves angrily after not receiving much of their food. We don't have enough silverware to eat what does appear. But the server is absent so we are stuck. We hear the bell ring at the pass for the food -- but it gets ignored. And when it does it comes out piecemeal and way out of order -- tables that arrive an hour later are served before us. Bizarro land. What we get was tasty but hard to enjoy with such random delivery. It's basically an awful mess that I would strongly advise everyone to avoid if this is the standard... We ended up leaving since we didn't think we would get the remainder of our food. The staff were apologetic and it seems that there was a major mess up with their ordering system combined with very new employees. They charged us only for what we actually got and gave us a 30% discount for the bill. They knew this was a bad service and it seemed unusual for the lm overall. I've been here three times and each time the food as been super average. I was most disappointing by the Benedict. The bread was sweet and similar to a pound cake, which didn't mix well with the other flavors. The food LOOKS great and is presented well, but ultimately lacks flavor. One time I came in and was seated. They brought me a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. Then after they took my order, they let me know their kitchen is closed due to a gas leak. Truely a lovely cafe/resto in the city. Couldn't stop coming back to this place. The drinks are so gooood. Such a great selection of teas. The smoothies are t you fresh but kinda small for the price. The key lime pie in a jar is amazing and they have a small but good beer selection ( if you like an IPA or floral beer). The wifi is super good and quick. Went to this restaurant tonight with one waitress and one cook. It took at least 30 minutes to get our drinks (she had to make them). Then we ordered food and it took forever. The one appetizer didn't show up and one meal. We asked again for the missing meal and she said okay. Everyone was done and the burger still didn't arrive. Went directly to the cook and he said there was no order for the burger. Waited over 11/2 hours with a 3 ur old and 8 month old. She gave us a discount on the meal but honestly I rather have a good meal. I am here meeting relatives for a few short days and this is what they are going to remember. Will not return. read more

Our server Diego was very nice and accommodating. Small outdoor space that gets the evening light. Prices are also surprisingly low, for a place that could charge tourists higher prices for more familiar food choices. However as a foodie, I am happy to shell out any amount for quality. I've come here a few times now because many of my study groups like to go here. The service is good, except for the time I sat outside-they said they would come take my order but after 10 minutes I gave up waiting and just went inside. The food is slightly more costly than a regular cafe, but the ingredients are quality and the coffee is always good. They say they sell urban food from around the world and although the menu somewhat follows that trend, the plates are more of a fusion. It's a down to earth place that has a nice vibe. read more
