We came here for lunch as we were looking for something light. It's a funky restaurant and we sat at the corner, where they have swing chairs. From looking at their menu, there's a lot of good choices for Vegan. My vegan sandwich was not bad, and their eggs Benedict was also pretty good. I think this place is better for lunch than dinner, and a good place for students to drink coffee or cappuccino and finish up on their studies as I found barn tables and sofas to sit on. Cheers!

This place really exceeded my expectations, the sandwich was great with tons of bacon and flavor. I got to work on my laptop and eat in peace. Started to get pretty busy during lunch time but overall service stayed quick!

Eggs Benedict with Avocado! This is one to share! Delicious

This place is an absolutely perfect spot for brunch. I came with 8 friends or so around 2 pm for brunch and there was about a 40 minute wait. The restaurant isn't huge and we didn't make a reservation so it was no big deal for us - if you have a big party try to make a reservation or come earlier in the day. The menu is filled with both healthy and indulgent options. All the meals come with a ton of food! I ordered the Passion smoothie and the prosciutto eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious- they accidentally cooked my eggs hard (my friend ordered hers hard), but they quickly rectified it and offered to replace the entire meal, the food was delicious so I just asked for two more runny eggs. The smoothies were also absolutely amazing, very fresh, and not super sweet. The waiters are also incredibly nice, patient, and welcoming. They deserve praise for dealing with our large party. Overall, fantastic meal and restaurant - I will be back for sure.

Hipster Delight My AirBnB host suggested this place for brunch, so I thought I'd try it the morning of my flight back home. The little assortment of luggage at the entrance told me others thought to do the same thing. I opted for the cozy couch and sipped on a morning mimosa before diving into my delicious prosciutto & avocado toast. The setting is laid back and funky with suspended chairs and communal tables, with hipster touches of rope, hanging plants, and distressed woods. The staff is kind and attentive, even with such a busy venue, making for a wonderful dining experience. A Tasty goodbye to Barcelona

This place was a true gem. We had tried to go to the busy spot around the corner - not wanting to wait in that line we stumbled upon this place. Very inviting. It was packed. Great brunch menu. Fantastic coffee - we had coconut lattes, americanos - all of the goodies. I had the egg benedict and it was delicious. A friend had the avocado toast and shared with me - heavenly. We eventually made it to the busy place around the corner, another day of our visit to Barcelona. And the entire group agreed that the menu and experience at El Arbol was much nicer and better food.

This place is small and unassuming, but the food is insanely good! I started out with the Lovely Toast, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but wow! I thought about it everyday when I woke up! Toast, with feta, fruit, and honey! I also ordered the Ensalata Roble that was equally amazing and huge! No human being needs to order 2 things here. A great place!

This was my sister and I's first stop after flying in from Texas. Everything from the energy of the employee's, to the setting and properly placed dishes was amazing. The waiter we had was so kind and helpful with the menu and spoke perfect English. He also gave us great advice about how to get around Barcelona and how to get to La Rambla street. This place is right next to our Airbnb, I would definitely come back here again before i leave Barcelona.

Everything tasted like cardboard. The vegetarian burger tasted worse than I could make it myself at home. They serve you Doritos with the burger......what? The eggs Benedict sauce tasted like water, it is far from Hollandaise. How are these reviews so good..... wake up ppl. This is not a joke btw. Food is supposed to taste good. Also my friend is claiming her water glass smells terrible. I feel like it's Groundhog Day

Food was amazing!! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really well worth a visit, highly recommended

When you have stood in the queue for Brunch and Cake for half an hour and had to watch those seated smuggly eating nice looking food with no hope of you getting there anytime soon, throw down the menu and shout "I will queue no longer". Then walk about 60s around the corner to be seated quickly and get an equally appetising combination of breakfast/brunch/lunch. We had the salmon toast (a big thumbs up ), the pancakes and the granola. All served quickly, with a smile so that a family of 5 could get back to arguing about where to spend the day and how many Gaudi lizard souvenirs were TOO many. Great place and will go again.

Be aware: Do NOT waste your money at this restaurant if you are Asians!!!…read more We dined at Disfrutar with high expectations given its 3 Michelin stars, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the second party to check in yesterday. However, when several hosts came out, they escorted multiple European groups who arrived after us into the restaurant first, while leaving our party waiting. As an Asian family visiting from the United States, this made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether we were being treated differently. The situation became even more concerning during the meal. My daughter was holding a glass of orange juice when the glass suddenly broke in her hand and cut her left thumb. A staff member came to clean the table and clearly saw her bleeding finger, yet there was no apology, no concern, and not even a simple "Are you okay?" This lack of basic care and empathy was shocking. At a Michelin 3-star level, service should be attentive, respectful, and consistent for every guest. Unfortunately, our experience made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. At this level, service is not optional--it is a fundamental part of the experience. Being made to feel overlooked and unwelcome, combined with the lack of care in a situation involving a child's injury, made this an experience we cannot recommend. To be fair, the cuisine itself was exceptional--creativity, presentation, wine quality, and overall execution were all at a very high level (close to 10/10). The taste was strong (around 8/10). However, the customer service was extremely poor (1/10), and unfortunately, that overshadowed the entire experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how all guests are treated. There are many choices when it comes to fine dining, and service matters just as much as the food.

In his namesake restaurant in Barcelona, he creates an authentic Catalonia-inspired menu using only certified local ingredients that are sustainable, organic, and ethically sourced wherever possible. Sergi de Meia's commitment to not only outstanding cuisine, but also to the environment and the community is impressive. A friend and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Sergi de Meia. The staff was wonderful, providing impeccable and attentive service that goes above and beyond the standard of hospitality. I thought the restaurant design was beautiful, and while the space is narrow and deep, the décor is light and contemporary, which makes for a great atmosphere. We share similar tastes, so my friend and I each ate the same dishes. We started with a taste of cauliflower cream, with pea shoots and crushed nuts. The cream was smooth and the nuts added a crunchy texture. The local asparagus with sheep's cheese cream and herbs was fresh and earthy, the vegetable tender and not tough, while the cream was salty and seasoned with the right mix of herbs. We also tried eggs and potato riojana style, and the flavors really gave a sense of the famous region of Spain. During the main course, we enjoyed fresh fish from the local market, with fresh green peas, chanterelle and saffron, which added a beautiful dose of color. We also loved the dish of local sheep, pumpkin, egg and cheese, as the texture provided an outstanding mouthfeel and is the epitome of local comfort food. For dessert, the server recommended the specialty chickpea fritters with cream, which use the traditional Catalonian chickpea flour. They were sweet and dense, a perfect way to end the delicious meal.

The food was hot which was important since it was such delicate dishes. So much flavor, we tried food outside our comfort zone and loved it. Chef Sergi really nails the pairings in food selection. I do not believe you can get a better meal than here in all of Barcelona. We only wish he had a restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

We started with three tapas: Pierogi Therapy (Pierogi ruskie) that were just a tad overcooked; Arenque del Báltico (Śledzik), a cold dish featuring many wonderful seafood flavors; and Say Cheese (Oscypek), lightly grilled goat cheese with red berry jam - kind of a dessert tapa, perfect before the main event. Deelish! Although there is a nice variety in their menu, the four of us selected the same two main courses: El Buen Rollo (Gołąbek), a large cabbage roll stuffed with nicely seasoned ground beef and rice, covered with a somewhat sweet tomato sauce. Each order came with two rolls. Each one was more than enough for one meal! Kopernik Was Right (Kiełbasa) was spicy and came in a bed of sauerkraut, on top of mashed potatoes. Pure comfort food! We finished off with a slab of their Polish-style cheesecake - and yes, one slab was enough for the four of us. Even the coffee was perfect! (You can always tell when a restaurant doesn't keep their coffee makers clean - this place clearly does.) Finally, a "chupito" of Polish vodka, nice and dry. I can't wait to go back again and try other items on their menu!
