    Eggs Benedict

Deliciós. Simply delicious. We weren't thinking brunch, but here we are after so many other lower rated restaurants were full up. Variety of offerings for Sunday brunch aka something for everyone. Fast service. The chorizo hash was stellar sensation for the tongue. The Eggs Benedict sauces also very delectable. Outdoor patio on the street. But like many streets in Barcelona, the sun is not able to reach the ground through the surrounding buildings.

Burger with Foie and caramelized onions!

If I could give six stars I would! We've been in Spain for a few weeks and I've been craving a burger. Arrived in Barcelona late last night and this place is around the corner from my hotel. We chose to sit inside away from the smokers. The vibe was chill and all three servers were friendly and spoke English. The menu is full of options but I went for the burger. It was amazing! Super juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly! The grilled foie gras was a decadent topper and coupled with the caramelized onions and warmed bun, I was in burger heaven! I opted for no Parmesan shavings and would have loved to see a nice briny pickle on the side to balance the rich and savory sandwich. Service was attentive and music was at a great level. We are here for a week and I'm already looking at the menu for my next meals there! A must visit!

Had a great experience at Firebug; the service and food were great. We ordered the gyoza, charcuterie, and patatas bravas. The outside seating area is large, has a great vibe and is good for people watching. Everyone that worked there were happy and really seemed to enjoy what they do.

    Vanilla iced latte and Shakshuka

The food here was so delicious, and fueled me for the day. I had a vanilla iced coffee and a shakshuka with gluten free bread. Overall menu was a bit more "American-ish " then other places with hamburgers and pastrami sandwiches. But I was with people who ordered both and they said they both tasted amazing

Smoked salmon, chorizo, and pancakes (listed on the menu as "pennyfarthing."

The duck is delicious. It is a riff on Peking duck. The meat is tender and shredded (reminded me or barbacuá.) The blueberry sauce is a bit less overwhelming than the traditional plum sauce can be. The charcuterie is also excellent, with jamón ibérico, chorizo and other delicious takes on cured pig I should add that I came back for breakfast the next day. I had the "Pennyfarthing." One suspects the term originated with the British. But for my fellow Yankees, it is a pancake with all the fixins. Bananas, jam, berries, nuts and syrup.

My mom and I were perusing around after checking out Arc de Triumf and decided to eat here for brunch. They don't have a tapas menu during brunch so we went with the NY bagel and Asian chicken salad lol Surprisingly, the food here was really good. Ingredients tasted fresh and portions were huge. We shared a slice each of the New York bagel and split the Asian chicken salad. We washed it down with mimosas and they even gave us small sampler shots of the bloody mary which was eve more tasty! I wish I ordered the bloody mary but I also knew I did not want to break the seal later on lol The service was solid just as the wifi. Bathrooms are modern and clean located upstairs. For the Aemrican style brunch fare, this place was really good and a nice change actually from tapas lol

Best vacation brunch yet! Brenda is the best server! We enjoyed the nicely shaded outdoor seating. Food and drinks were perfect! We may need to return for dinner service before we head home. Yum!

The minute you walk in, and go down the stairs, you are reminded of the wonderful places that used to exist in the early 1990s in Los Angeles, California. Five star food all around. Fully stocked bar for those who are in need. Generous portions of food. Freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. No Almond Milk (just a heads up) and the yelp coupon upon first check-in isn't available any longer. Also the Spanish customary tip isn't automatically included on the bill, you'll have to add that yourself. It's a lovely place for breakfast or brunch.

Came in for brunch, they have really nice outdoor seating and you can enjoy some nice people watching. Their coffee is excellent, I ordered a mocha and the whipped cream that came on it was delicious! The pancakes I got were ok, not as fluffy and tasty as they are in the US. Eggs benedict was GREAT, highly recommend getting that if you're a fan of benedict. Pretty well-portioned meals, definitely worth a visit.

The food is so good we ate here 2 days in a row. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely come again.

The decor is fun. The bar is made out of stacked suitcases.

This restaurant does not disappoint. Everything is good and the service is excellent for Barcelona standards, ha ha Their burgers are yummy and the brunch looks delicious based on what the adjoining table ordered. Check it out!

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

We were happy to enter the cozy La Alcoba Azul and seated by a smiling host immediately & presented with menus. The interior looks almost like a wine cellar with brick vaulted ceilings. The offerings are best described as fusion tapas but there are a few traditional bites as well. Our waiter presented us with an amuse bouché of pumpkin hummus topped with roasted pepitas on an herbed toasted baguette crisp. DELICIOUS! We confidently ordered the tomato tartare with avocado cream, basil, olive powder and rosemary olive oil caviar as well as a half order of cured Iberican meats featuring chorizo, loin, sausage and ham, an order of the hummus with black olives, parsley, pine nuts and pita triangles. All were terrific! We especially enjoyed the meats and tomato tartare. I enjoyed a red sangria that was satisfying and happened to be topped with cinnamon...a first and welcome addition for me. La Alcoba Azul is a spot we'll keep on our tapas go to list! You shouldn't hesitate to visit.

Service is slow in that classic European way, not sad slow, but the kind of slow that reminds you to savor the moment because you are on vacation. The menu descriptions were a little vague, so we took a few stabs in the dark. The eggplant dish we ordered ended up being my favorite, and the hummus with lamb was also very good. I usually love olives, but these did not hit for me. They were a bit too dry and firm, so buyer beware if you are picky about olives. All in all, a charming spot for a romantic vacation dinner.
