Let me begin by saying the food is what makes this place. Don't come in expecting a 5 star dining experience. This is paper plate establishment, that has a trendy "boutique" feel. It is a bit of a Tex-Mex fusion, with very fresh ingredients. I visited on the request of the very beautiful lady dining with me, and it didn't disappoint. The bakes, and quesadilla are top notch. I read a few reviews talking about a microwave, but I watch the whole process without seeing one being used. Great place for lunch. I will be visiting again. read more

We REALLY wanted to eat some healthy food since the past week was full of junk. After spending quite some time searching for a place on Yelp we were sure this place was the ticket. I guess we have different tastebuds because we couldn't find anything special as far as the food is concerned. It appeared that EVERY menu entree included a strange combo of celery, green beans, lettuce, carrots, bell pepper, and beans. While I normally love all of these ingredients, they just didn't taste right on chicken nachos. I ordered a "Greek Burrito/Wrap" that stated there was spinach. I had ONE leaf of spinach inside. It honestly felt like the chef took all the leftover scraps from the day and put it into our food. On a positive note, the scraps tasted fresh! Maybe it was worth $30 for two adults and a child. We may have stopped by again to give this place a second chance, but the owners were not very welcoming. They had family over to visit behind the counter and spent a considerable amount of time chatting loudly instead of helping us decide on our order. I felt like I just walked into a strangers kitchen rather than a cafe. Perhaps that was our fault for walking in roughly an hour before closing. The place is very cute though. We loved all the decorations and it looked like they had free WiFi based on a few customers sitting around with a laptop. Sorry Flavors. It's one of those places that you walk into and the menu is so large and explanatory that you immediately feel both overwhelmed and certain that you are going to find something you like. (Just hope that the line is long enough so that you are able to get through the menu before it's your turn to order!) Had a roasted veggie burrito that was superb. Not Mexican. Not a deli wrap. Not your typical flavors. But superb. Packed with rice and beans and veggies (they don' even skimp on the expensive ones) with homemade salsa, chips, and guacamole on the side. A great bargain, and a fun place to either dine outside (albeit really close to the parking lot) or inside with all the local art. They've got wraps and quesadillas and open-faced sandwiches, normal sandiwches, salads, and pizzas. It would take a while to make it through the entire menu, but I think it would be worth it! read more

Once again, my fellow Yelpers have steered me in the direction of an AMAZING place to eat! :) I was looking for a place to eat and my boyfriend and I decided to try this place. He had gone to high school across the street several years ago but had not eaten there. I had the Turkey Pita and he had the chicken sub. He went for the half sub. We were both pretty hungover and not looking to get stuffed. The owners were so amicable and got us acquainted with the menu (theyre selection is HUGE!) We took a seat and our food arrived about 10 minutes later. The sweet tea is YUMMY. I took a bite from my pita and was completely overwhelmed by the amount of flavors in it! It was SO good!!! Everything was gorgeous and fresh and delicious. The chips and whatever was drizzled on it was just so delicious. The price was amazing. The half sub is HUGE I dont think anyone could finish a full sub.... A customer came in and ordered a shake.. the owner walked up to our table as we were the only others there and offered us a small cup saying "I had some left over, and I hate to waste anything so I thought you guys would like some" She put whipped cream and syrup on it and made it pretty even though we didnt order or pay for it! :) Totally earned her 5th star there ;) It was so good we know to get a shake next time! I have been proudly dining at flavors for over 6 years and still love it. The store has some weird hours but it is worth the wait. I personally love the Cajun chicken wraparitto with extra flavor sauce. The salsa is always fresh and is the perfect side to your meal. While I do carry out primarily, when I do dine in, I am not the biggest fan of the paper plates. I have brought a bunch of my friends and the only criticism were the plates because they are tacky. Other than that I would recommend anyone to try this spot! read more

Went here for lunch with a group from the client and was very pleased. The place was hopping but we were still able to get a table fr five pretty quickly. There was a duet playing live music that rounded out the funky hippie atmosphere perfectly. I had the veggie wrap. When it arrived I was slightly overwhelmed with the amount of food but the flavours were so good I couldn't stop eating and polished the plate. Used to be an awesome spot. One of the best around, really. But it has taken a disastrous plunge for the worse. Must have had a management change or something. Their once locally sourced and high fructose corn syrup-free sodas now come out of a can. I used to LOVE their red cream soda and they advertised no HFCS (which was an enormous plus for me), but I noticed it started to taste different. Last time there I ordered one and watched the man behind the counter walk straight past their once wonderfully active soda fountain, over to the fridge, take out a can of Kroger brand soda, pour it in my glass and walk it to my table. The soda is one thing, but the wait time is another. The only way to get your food in a timely fashion is if you're the only one in the restaurant. 45 minute wait for lunch is insane. And half the time they don't get the orders correct. Just swung by with my lady to get a smoothie (over $10 for 2 smalls), and we waited over 15 minutes to get them. During the wait, we saw the guy who took our order reach into the bag of frozen peaches with his bare hands to throw some in the blender. He also forgot to put the chia seeds in my fiancé's smoothie. It really wasn't worth trying to ask him to fix the mistake because there were 6 other people in line, all of whom were waiting for a long time. I'll give them credit--their food is good when they get it right. The house sauce is pretty great and the flaky bakes are really good. But the lack of care by management and employees and the brutal wait times have driven me away. read more

My Mom and I tried this restaurant right after the Christmas holiday. I was looking for new healthy local restaurant in the Kettering/Centerville area. I checked out Flavors Eatery website and everything sounded great. We were welcomed from the time we entered the eatery and menu was explained to us in detail. I settled on the Cajun Chicken wrap and my Mom a chicken quesadilla. The food arrived to the table minutes later and wow what a huge portion, I enjoyed the variety of veggies in and on top of the wrap, I ended up eating as a burrito. The white sauce is amazing! My Mom commented this place is right up my alley, I enjoy fresh, local food. She also said my brother would enjoy the fresh healthy food. I can't wait to try again. I did notice there were signs on each table the eatery is up for sale and looking for a new owner, a hands on owner to take over and continue the reputation of this great little place. Flavors Eatery was probably one of the most unique places I've been to in a long while! Their food stays very true to their name--so flavorful and very fresh. I split the Cajun chicken bake (pizza) and the chicken pesto quesadilla with a friend. It comes with corn tortilla chips on the side with salsa and garlic House sauce drizzled over top. I SOOO wanted to love this place. The staff is friendly, the place feels comfortable and eclectic and the menu (although overwhelmingly large) looked interesting, BUT their food is a little bit strange. My little family has gone twice, the first time my husband ordered a chicken wrap and I ordered the chicken nachos. Both had ranch dressing, both had lots of lettuce and a bunch of random veggies (green beans, celery etc), it was weird but we thought it was kind of fun. We went again and ordered a chicken, spinach and artichoke quesadilla, salmon wrap and a chicken and bacon quesadilla. Again with the weird veggies, the soggy lettuce and the ranch dressing. We are convinced that no matter what we order it is going to look and taste the same as the last thing and have the same weird elements. We are sad to check this off of our list of possible lunch places, but we are going to :(. read more

I'm not really excited about this place by all means. I ordered a vegetarian wrap for my daughter comes to my surprise everything is microwaved except the pizza, or bakes. I came in to do a take out order and then some lady was behind me they served her first which made me upset that I had to wait 15 minutes for a microwave veggie wrap. This place is not cheap. Another thing that bugged me is watching them make their smoothies they don't use fresh fruit at all they use frozen from GFS I would rather save my money and make my own FRESH smoothies and food, and their chips are again probably from GFS along with everything else. If I had a place like that I wouldn't be dishing out junk to my customers, and also the guy making the wrap should've been wearing gloves!!! YUCK! read more

As a visitor to my old home town, the last place I wanted to eat was Applebees (or insert any of the over-processed, GMO-laden, trough-style "restaurants" here), and I am so happy I found you on Yelp. The food was incredible! My brother and I had lunch... I had the BBQ chicken quesadilla and he had the chicked ceasar wrap. Everything was uber fresh, and the layers of flavors were remarkable. This place's name hits the nail on the head. Really... I had no idea you could make a quesadilla that was simple and complex tasting all at once. Man, I really like this place and wish I lived closer. The cashier helped me navigate their unique menu which offers everything from burritos, to pizza, salads and sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable considering the portions and quality. My mother got the baby salad which she said was great and it looked very professionally prepared. A nice touch was they have the chef actually bring you the food ---and he has good reason to be proud of his creations. I took the leap and went with the Thai chicken burrito. Again, the presentation was impeccable and the food was amazing. Everything in this place is spotless and they have free candy in the bathrooms. I'll probably make the 2 mile drive off of I-675 when I'm passing through Centerville with a grumble in my stomach. read more

But it's worth a short wait or you can carry out. I have tried most of the menu, and would have to say the wraps are always a good bet. The owners are 'dog-people' too and have rescued a number of labs (I think 7-8 now?), so if you are an animal lover, make it a point to support them. We were in the area yesterday at our early dinner time and I saw it listed on my Google phone list so...wanted to take a chance on a something different. Get tired of restaurants that have the same stuff. It was in a little shopping strip and walking in, realized it's a little hole in the wall and you order at the counter. They weren't busy and the manager asked if we had been there and proceeded to explain the menu and you could tell he was proud of the food quality. He helped me narrow my choice down and to the "flakey" section, mushroom one with chicken but they have lots of vegan stuff too. The choice had aoli on it and I told him that I hadn't met an aoli that I liked. Hubby ordered the chicken parm but it was not the standard deep-fried, breaded patty. To help us decide, he handed us each a chip with a sample of the aoli for me and the pesto for hubby...oh my goodness...so good. We got our orders delivered to our table and both had a flat bread with tons of shredded chicken & some basil, etc. leaves with their awesome house sauce & white cheese. Mine was very delicious & I'm eating the leftovers today. Hubby is picky but his was the shredded chicken with a light tomato sauce and pesto with their white house sauce...delicious!! Our selection were so different yet nothing weird. His parm tasted like chicken parm but with a twist, so good! Their sauces are wonderful! There is no ambiance there if that is what you seek but the food is amazing...the manager just gushes about the food and is so personable and informative. If you ask him what the fave is there, he will tell you that everything is good and I can't wait to try other things. Our son is getting into a plant-based diet so instead of taking him out to a steak place next time, we will come to Centerville. It's rare for me to give any restaurant five stars. Oh, did I mention that while waiting for our order, we were brought a basket of tortilla chips with their white house sauce drizzled and...their salsa. Bottom line: delicious, fresh, unique food! I always get the veggie wrap and the contents vary by what is fresh that season but it always tastes out of this world. The house sauce is amazing! Since the new owners took over service remains the one challenge of this place... It is always slow, slow. They are very nice, but it is usually disorganized (this hasn't changed with new owners).
