Perfect spot for a quick bite! I came for chicken sando and it didn't disappoint. Portion size was decent for the price and food is made fresh. They have outdoor patio seating and good lunch specials. I'd expect this place to be bustling with students during the week.
I ordered behind my friend tonight and 8 orders came out before I received my order. He finished his meal after 20 mins while the cashier literally brought out the same exact order for his friend. Who arrived AFTER THE BOTH OF US. Overpriced take-out, when identical sit down places offer much better accommodations, better AND larger portions, honest service and upright order--not chaos mixed into impulsive service decisions.
I ordered shrimp tempura. It was nice and crispy with fresh salad. I liked it and the avocado smoothie I ordered. The staff was wonderfully pleasant. Although it's only outside parking with limited table settings, it was comfortable and actually feeling laid back. I would go back there again.
Been craving comfort food and Flavor Fusions udon carbonara and menchi curry hit the spot for my friend and I! We split both because we couldn't decide and felt like we had the best of both worlds! Lol. The curry with a slight kick really hit the spot for me. Everyone else enjoyed the katsu sandwiches, bowls and everything else! Love love their drinks! First time for a few coworkers and they LOVED it!
The food is made fresh so it does take some time for the food to come out. I would have to say the price is high for the type of service. We sat outside, just regular outdoor chairs, and arranged our own table. I really love katsu and would say this is place is slightly better than average. I do appreciate that the food is not salty, and made fresh, but there are definitely other places that are at the same level of quality for less. I ordered the chicken katsu with curry. The curry is not spicy. Pets are allowed since you will be outdoors.
I thought this was an actual sit down type of restaurant but it actually reminds me of being in Hawaii with just outdoor patio seating. You order in the front and pick a table, the owner will bring you your food. He's very nice and friendly. We ordered pork katsu sando which came with fries, spam and Tamago musubi and chicken katsu curry bowl. That bowl had an unexpected spice that doesn't actually hit you until a few chews in. He also brought over 2 soups before our food was ready. They have so many drink options that I didn't know which to choose. Their drink cup is cute, thin and long. I ordered yuzu drink recommended by the owner and it was yummmmm, not too sweet and not too sour.
Service not helpful ,front counter person seem like he was the owner ,not interested that I said I was new to this place and asked several questions about the menu to order most popular item. No soda or water service only Teas that actually food good but to over priced for me .Had the Pork Katsu sandwich it was ok not to much flavor very simple and Blan. The curry chicken was ok nothing to come back for. Over priced food items.

So much that I even asked the staff about it, and they explained how it's freshly battered and fried. I ordered their chicken katsu curry bowl also which was very flavorful with just the right amount of heat to it. They have a small patio area with a few tables, so I was able to enjoy my meal after it was freshly made. Will definitely be going back again soon!
Flavor Fusions took over the former Bento-Ya location. I didn't realize that this wasn't a dine in restaurant. It's reminiscent of Rainbow Drive-In on HI, you order at the window and take it to go. There are a few tables outside to dine at, so if you want to eat there, just find a table to sit at and the owner can bring your food to you. There are no restrooms so I had to drive my son and I somewhere else to find one to use, which is inconvenient. It's run by a Thai couple and they don't seem to have anyone else working there so food can take a while to prepare. Seems that they have a lot to take away orders, so he gave us a heads up that it would take at least 30 minutes for our food. The menu offers a variety of fun drinks, noodles, rice dishes, curries, and Katsu sandwiches (which I had to try). My kids and I started with the Tokyo Lemonade and Mango smoothie with boba. Drinks were good and came in these really tall, skinny cups. Boba was good, but all stuck together in chunks. We needed a spoon to dig out some of the boba. The straws they have suck. Literally. They are so thin that when you suck your drink, they suck up and collapse together so nothing comes thru. Katsu chicken sando was great. Chicken Katsu, cabbage, and sauce in between two slices of white bread with crispy fries. Chicken Katsu Curry - good, standard curry. Pork Katsu Bowl - my son said it was tasty, and he liked that there was egg on it. Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl was good, broccoli was fresh and crisp, but a bit on the plain side. We ended up dipping it in curry sauce from my other kids' bowl to flavor it up. Meals came with miso soup. It was tasty and had some black herb thing in it, not sure what it was. They also have a lunch menu available M-F from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
The udon carbonara is not bad. You can get it with bacon or shrimp. The hubby said it's cheesy in every bite. For me, it's more soupy and slippery noodle than I'd expected (I was expecting creamier, but all good). The black roe gives it a fancy look. Chicken katsu don is pretty good too. You can choose the protein, we got chicken. I like saucy rice so I prefer this one. Not the juiciest chicken but they're not stingy with the meat and sauce is all over the rice, so it's all good. Food is overall not bad. Well portioned. Not gonna make you nap in the afternoon. They have outdoor seats only. Pretty casual place. Nice owners/staffs. You order through the window, take a seat, and they will bring the food out for you. No restroom. But it's closeby to the park. So if you can hold it for 5 minute, drive there.
Came here to support a friends car meet! I was so surprised to see that their menu consisted of classic Japanese dishes. They had so many unique options to choose from. I got the Hamburg curry because I hadn't had that in so long. The portion was huge which fit the price well. The Hamburg meat was also huge, I had to have a friend finish it. One thing in the meat though is that it was very tough. Traditional Japanese hamburg is made with bread crumb and egg which I am assuming they make theirs with just ground beef. The works here although it was super busy were so so nice. The place has their own parking lot so no need to worry about that. Small bathroom is also available, located on the right side of the building.

The fries, in particular, were very crispy and satisfying. The chicken katsu sando had fluffy white bread, lots of crunchy cabbage, and a generous schmear of mayo. It was a bit of a heavy meal, but definitely hit the spot. They have a good variety of noodle and rice dishes too - I'll definitely have to come back and try more! $15 is the minimum to use credit card so if you're just coming for snacks or boba, please bring cash! Everyone was pretty friendly. They only have outdoor seating which is a bummer when it's not super nice out. I also didn't love the vibe of the businesses nearby. I think next time I'll just get it to-go.
This small restaurant was hidden and at first I was skeptical because it was quiet and no one was there. However, wowza! The chef/owner(?) Sitt, friendly, warm, welcoming, and the way he spoke to us, you can tell he's a genuine individual. First time looking at the menu, he was not pushy, he did not overwhelm us with options, he tagged along with the direction we were going with. We ordered the chicken katsu, stewed curry chicken, gyoza and he recommended curry croquettes. I regret not buying 3 of those croquettes.... the crunch was exquisite! The taste of the curry, mildly spicy, yet umami. Will be coming back soon to try the carbonara udon! Sure, there are a lot of curry places around, but I was very satisfied coming here! Thank you!

There were a TON of drink combinations to choose from on the menu. The owner was very sweet and gave us suggestions, let us take our time, and answered all of our questions. He suggested the bowls instead of bento box to get more food :). Food wise: great. The teriyaki chicken was yummy. I do wish sauce came on the side and not in the bowl because there was quite the puddle of sauce at the bottom. It was a runnier and lighter sauce than normal but still yummy. Tonkatsu was cooked well and a good meat to batter ratio. Sometimes places skimp out and give too much breading. The curry was tasty and had a nice kick to it! Drinks: SO MUCH DRINK. I was not expecting cups THIS big. Wow. Talk about bang for your buck with the food AND drinks! My bf got the mango passion fruit slush and it was heavy on the mango and the aftertaste always passion fruit. I got the white grape and lychee yogurt drink and it was good. I could taste more lychee but that's chill! Not complaining! I even had lychee bits at the bottom! We got charged for an extra drink so the owner said we could either get a new drink or get a refund. My bf said he could have creative freedom with a drink. He made a lychee pineapple green tea slush! Pretty good read more

Unfortunately this establishment is permanently closed after 1/07/26. Sad to see a place that serves good food and hosts car meets gone. read more

I pass by this place all the time but didn't realize it was a restaurant. You order through a window and there's outdoor seating or you can order to-go. The owner was very friendly & the food came out pretty fast. There are many food options to choose from, such as curry, bento boxes, udon, yakisoba, sando sandwiches, sushi rolls, tempura, spam musubi, gyoza & donburi rice bowls. We enjoyed everything we ordered: oyakodon & katsu curry. Both had generous portions of meat & was very good. They also have a variety of drinks & flavors to choose from which can be made to be a smoothie, soda or tea. The drinks were huge & so delicious. We will definitely return to try more items on the menu. read more

A family owned and run business! They were very nice and the food was delicious. The parking lot is big compared to the small place. Only outdoor seating but they have heat lamps. Food: - chicken katsu curry (8/10): the curry was good, had a peppery kick to it. wish it came with more curry for the rice. big portion. - mechi katsu sando (9/10): mechi is a meat patty. this sandwich was good! flavorful and huge. the fries were also good and crispy. - udon carbonara (10/10): creamy and flavorful. came with bacon bits. the portion was a bit small though. Service was amazing here. They were kind and helpful. Order at the window for here or to go. They will come out with your dishes. They also check up on you once in awhile incase you need anything or to refill your water cups. Everything comes in a delivery container. read more

I don't understand the 4 star average rating on yelp but I thought everything was just ok here. I got a order of the katsu curry and I wouldn't get it again. It was a good portion of food I have to say. However, the pork was really dry and had lots of fat. The flavor of the curry was decent. The drinks however were really good but at $7 per drink it was so expensive. The drinks are really tall and I'd say they're about 24 oz. Maybe? I added an extra star for the drinks. The service was odd at first when we were ordering but at the end of our meal, the owner? came around to make sure we were ok. The food did take awhile to come out and I didn't think they were too busy. It seems like they make everything fresh to order which is why it took so long. Overall, I would come back for the drinks but one of the downsides is that they have a $15 card requirement. I also wasn't a fan of the ambiance because it was all outdoors and during a hot summer day, flies are everywhere hovering over your food. Maybe I just got the wrong item but maybe I'll give them another try and get a katsu sando next time. read more

This is a small place where you order at the window and find a seat outside. The staff are super super nice and sweet. They give super honest recommendations. This is definitely a mom and pop shop I'd keep supporting. The menchi katsu sando is super yummy. The bread is toasty and soft. It came with potato wedges. I really liked this and would try the other sandos. The katsudon was okay. There's a lot of ginger which I'm not a fan of. But the meat is cooked well. The drinks are unique. They have a lot of different flavors and I think they're feel pretty. The yuzu lemonade is very strong in yuzu flavor. The matcha latte is a bit light Definitely come to try their items! Made a quick stop for some fast casual Japanese food and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and portions of the food! I enjoyed their Oyakodon which was able to cover me for two separate meals. The Olvaltine Volcano was also sooo yummy! Service was very friendly, there was free parking and covered outdoor seating. I didn't know this restaurant wassuch a casual place with only outdoor seating, ordering through a window. We ended up ordering to go, but everything tasted great and fresh by the time we brought it back to eat. I typically don't like udon but their udon carbonara with bacon was great and creamy. They also have a new shrimp carbonara too. Their katsu was great, the curry had a kick which I loved. Their katsu sando was also tasty too, their bread was soft compared to other katsu sando places nearby- typically the bread is so thick and dry but this one was great. The owner so flavor fushion has such cute concept ideas for catering. I had many questions on what I should do for my Baby shower and Sitt gave me some examples of what they do for parties. He even sent over different sample bottles I should choose from. We ended up going with 16oz bear bottles and we went with the kiddie bear pool to place them in! It was a hit at our baby shower went with the theme very well and guest really enjoyed the drinks! We went with 4 different flavors. ( passion tea , mango lemonade, lychee lemonade, and regular milk tea) They have such a large variety it was hard to choose from but we went with what was most popular and recommended by Sitt. Overall I would definetly recommend flavor fushion to anyone whoa looking for drinks for kids and adults for your future parties and events! read more

When I was handed my order (katsudon and potato croquette), the owner of the family business said to me "Here's your order! You're going to enjoy it." Spoilers: He was correct. I've been here a few times now and every time I have been impressed by this place. It's run by only a few people, which means that if there's a ton of customers, your food will be a bit slow. However, they more than make up for it with really good food and excellent service. The food, as said before, is really good and in pretty big portions. I had to finish the katsudon in 2 meals. The drinks, while interesting and tasty, does have a tendency to have quite a lot of ice, so take that into account when ordering them. When I was debating over what to order, the owner was nice enough to give suggestions on what to order and what to pair with it. I really appreciated it! Overall, definitely continuing to come here and can't wait to try out the other things on the menu! read more

A casual outdoor Japanese cafe serving comfort food. I wanted to visit Flavor Fusions Cafe since I think they food booth at events like 626 Night Market. I like the bento box options, paired with boba drinks. The staff were very nice in offering recommendations when asked. The only seating is outdoors while ordering is at a counter. The price is a little more expensive than I expected but the bentos were filling and came with a small sauce cup of curry or Katsu sauce. read more
I've had this Flavor Fusions Cafe bookmarked for awhile and finally got to visit. They only have outdoor seating, and but we took it home to-go since it's already late at night. The 2 of us shared: Chicken Sando - soft bread, tasty chicken Menchi Sando - more soft bread, ground beef and pork patty, lotsa protein, hubby approves! udon carbonara - In love at first bite, super soft udon, creamy delicious sauce! Spam Musubi - love the added tamago egg. We definitely had leftovers for another meal! Portion is generous and price is not post pandemic crazy! The owner Sit was friendly and answer all our questions on the menu. We can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu items and of course more sandos! Love support this small business right in our hood. Will be great to come back during the day with out doggo and enjoy lunch here. read more

Flavor Fusions Cafe is located on a pretty quiet street so you can easily drive by without knowing it's there. My friend heard about it on social media so we came to give it a try. We came on a Saturday for dinner. Maybe because they're still having a soft opening- the place was pretty empty with only two tables occupied. Do note this is more of a self-serve place with only outdoor seating and you clean up after yourself. You place your order at the window and pay beforehand. We ordered the Katsu Don and Katsu Sando, two of their bestselling items. The Katsu Don was a pretty big portion and came with a small bowl of miso soup while the Katsu Sando came with wedge fries on the side. For both, the katsu wasn't super crispy, missing the crunch that I usually like, but that's personal preference. The meat could've been more tender too. I did enjoy the egg and onions in the Katsu Don, which went really well with the white rice and katsu. As for the sandwich, it was alright since I was missing the satisfying crunch with each bite. 4.5/5 for both items in consideration of the portion, price, looks, and taste. Service was excellent. The staff member gave us cups of iced water. And when we couldn't finish the food, he gave us lids for the bowls. He also came out to check on us in the middle of our meal. read more

Stumbled upon Flavor Fusions while cruising Arcadia's downtown. Looks like an old drive up burger joint. Plenty of parking and a small outdoor seating area. I got the udon curry and it was delicious. My daughter tasted it and asked me to make curry at home so thanks for expanding my picky child's food interests! I thought the $5 for a musubi was high but they were tasty. Husband enjoyed his spicy tuna rolls. The lemonade and mint tea come in the neatest cups. Heads up they do not sit happy in a car cup holder since they're so tall and skinny. I loved this lunch and wish I lived closer I would visit often. read more

I noticed this place opened, replacing bentoya and decided to try it out. I ordered an oyakodon that came with a miso soup. The oyakodon took about 8 minutes to arrive after ordering while the miso soup was given within 3 minutes. The oyakodon was delicious. I loved the soft juicy chicken paired with the rice and green onions. Surprisingly, the bowl looked small but the actual portion size was quite a lot. The miso soup wasn't too salty, which I very much prefer. Overall, the food was definitely tasty. I did think the cost was a little bit expensive ~$15+ but I guess that's to accommodate for the current inflation. I will be coming back to try other options on their menu. read more
First time here, since Bentoya closed down...that was traumatic, so I wasn't ready to try anything else there! Looked them up online and the menu was not "listed" but more like if you were to order online, with drop down options. I ended up looking at menu pictures on Yelp. I wanted oyako-Don, but that was not available, nor was chicken Teriyaki. So I ended up with a Buta Don, a chicken katsu curry and a side of shrimp tempura. The food looked good, and honestly, with the current reviews, I also had high expectations. Initially, food tasted fine. Miso soup was good, and the curry had a kick, according to my husband. But as I ate my Buta Don, I realized it was way too salty. The pork was a little chewy as well. I thought the shrimp tempura flavor was good, but it was much too greasy. I love Japanese food and was really hoping they could at least come close to Bento-ya. I'm not convinced yet at this point, but it may be too soon and too little to tell. The drinks did look interesting and would be great to check out on a warm day. I had a hard time deciding on my rating, because I wanted to be supportive but honest. My wife saw this soft opening restaurant in Arcadia, and recommended we give it a try. We stopped here during lunch time. I briefly skimmed the photos on Yelp, but didn't realize it was outdoor seating only until I arrived. It was definitely on the cooler side when I visited. Thankfully, the staff turned on one of their electric heaters, which helped. It seemed like most people order carry out from here. We ended up getting lunch here. I got the chicken katsu sando, and my wife got the udon carbonara. The service was pretty good, especially for an outdoor seating non wait staff restaurant. The udon carbonara was amazing, I loved the roe with the carbonara and bacon. The chicken katsu sando was ok, but the chicken was on the drier side. A Japanese fusion restaurant with great food, reasonable prices, and a fun atmosphere! Plenty of parking, and they have covered outdoor seating which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. I ordered the Udon Carbonara ($12.95) and the Chicken Katsu ($11.95). Chicken Katsu was crispy and came with a side of wedges. The Udon Carbonara was very creamy, cheesy, and topped with bacon and masago (fish roe). I enjoyed both dishes. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. And when we were the first to sit in their patio, they brought out speakers to play Japanese pop music which was a vibe! read more

Easy parking and I'm a fan of the outdoor seating. Ordered the curry with fried hamburger patty. They had a promo for a free drink as well. Rose green tea was good and a good size. Curry portion was big - super full after this meal! Overall, the food is pretty average and it was about $17 for the curry + free drink. I probably wouldn't think it was worth it without the free drink. Service is on the slower side so just FYI in case you're trying to pick up a meal real quick. read more
