Cute Mom and Pop restaurant! Friendly customer service, lots of parking with outdoor seating. Lots of different food options and drinks! Curry potato Croquette 5 stars! Menchi curry BOMBBBBB but spicy (I can't eat much spicy but it's good!) loving the crunch Pork katsu sandwich - big size portion and the fries are perfectly crispy!

Perfect spot for a quick bite! I came for chicken sando and it didn't disappoint. Portion size was decent for the price and food is made fresh. They have outdoor patio seating and good lunch specials. I'd expect this place to be bustling with students during the week.

I ordered shrimp tempura. It was nice and crispy with fresh salad. I liked it and the avocado smoothie I ordered. The staff was wonderfully pleasant. Although it's only outside parking with limited table settings, it was comfortable and actually feeling laid back. I would go back there again.

Been craving comfort food and Flavor Fusions udon carbonara and menchi curry hit the spot for my friend and I! We split both because we couldn't decide and felt like we had the best of both worlds! Lol. The curry with a slight kick really hit the spot for me. Everyone else enjoyed the katsu sandwiches, bowls and everything else! Love love their drinks! First time for a few coworkers and they LOVED it!

The food is made fresh so it does take some time for the food to come out. I would have to say the price is high for the type of service. We sat outside, just regular outdoor chairs, and arranged our own table. I really love katsu and would say this is place is slightly better than average. I do appreciate that the food is not salty, and made fresh, but there are definitely other places that are at the same level of quality for less. I ordered the chicken katsu with curry. The curry is not spicy. Pets are allowed since you will be outdoors.

I thought this was an actual sit down type of restaurant but it actually reminds me of being in Hawaii with just outdoor patio seating. You order in the front and pick a table, the owner will bring you your food. He's very nice and friendly. We ordered pork katsu sando which came with fries, spam and Tamago musubi and chicken katsu curry bowl. That bowl had an unexpected spice that doesn't actually hit you until a few chews in. He also brought over 2 soups before our food was ready. They have so many drink options that I didn't know which to choose. Their drink cup is cute, thin and long. I ordered yuzu drink recommended by the owner and it was yummmmm, not too sweet and not too sour.

Service not helpful ,front counter person seem like he was the owner ,not interested that I said I was new to this place and asked several questions about the menu to order most popular item. No soda or water service only Teas that actually food good but to over priced for me .Had the Pork Katsu sandwich it was ok not to much flavor very simple and Blan. The curry chicken was ok nothing to come back for. Over priced food items.

Great place for a quick bite to eat with excellent service. I was pleasantly surprised at how great their shrimp tempura appetizer was. So much that I even asked the staff about it, and they explained how it's freshly battered and fried. I ordered their chicken katsu curry bowl also which was very flavorful with just the right amount of heat to it. They have a small patio area with a few tables, so I was able to enjoy my meal after it was freshly made. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Flavor Fusions took over the former Bento-Ya location. I didn't realize that this wasn't a dine in restaurant. It's reminiscent of Rainbow Drive-In on HI, you order at the window and take it to go. There are a few tables outside to dine at, so if you want to eat there, just find a table to sit at and the owner can bring your food to you. There are no restrooms so I had to drive my son and I somewhere else to find one to use, which is inconvenient. It's run by a Thai couple and they don't seem to have anyone else working there so food can take a while to prepare. Seems that they have a lot to take away orders, so he gave us a heads up that it would take at least 30 minutes for our food. The menu offers a variety of fun drinks, noodles, rice dishes, curries, and Katsu sandwiches (which I had to try). My kids and I started with the Tokyo Lemonade and Mango smoothie with boba. Drinks were good and came in these really tall, skinny cups. Boba was good, but all stuck together in chunks. We needed a spoon to dig out some of the boba. The straws they have suck. Literally. They are so thin that when you suck your drink, they suck up and collapse together so nothing comes thru. Katsu chicken sando was great. Chicken Katsu, cabbage, and sauce in between two slices of white bread with crispy fries. Chicken Katsu Curry - good, standard curry. Pork Katsu Bowl - my son said it was tasty, and he liked that there was egg on it. Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl was good, broccoli was fresh and crisp, but a bit on the plain side. We ended up dipping it in curry sauce from my other kids' bowl to flavor it up. Meals came with miso soup. It was tasty and had some black herb thing in it, not sure what it was. They also have a lunch menu available M-F from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.

    Udon carbonara
    Magda N.

The udon carbonara is not bad. You can get it with bacon or shrimp. The hubby said it's cheesy in every bite. For me, it's more soupy and slippery noodle than I'd expected (I was expecting creamier, but all good). The black roe gives it a fancy look. Chicken katsu don is pretty good too. You can choose the protein, we got chicken. I like saucy rice so I prefer this one. Not the juiciest chicken but they're not stingy with the meat and sauce is all over the rice, so it's all good. Food is overall not bad. Well portioned. Not gonna make you nap in the afternoon. They have outdoor seats only. Pretty casual place. Nice owners/staffs. You order through the window, take a seat, and they will bring the food out for you. No restroom. But it's closeby to the park. So if you can hold it for 5 minute, drive there.

    Grilled Hamburg Curry Bowl
    Maddy T.

Came here to support a friends car meet! I was so surprised to see that their menu consisted of classic Japanese dishes. They had so many unique options to choose from. I got the Hamburg curry because I hadn't had that in so long. The portion was huge which fit the price well. The Hamburg meat was also huge, I had to have a friend finish it. One thing in the meat though is that it was very tough. Traditional Japanese hamburg is made with bread crumb and egg which I am assuming they make theirs with just ground beef. The works here although it was super busy were so so nice. The place has their own parking lot so no need to worry about that. Small bathroom is also available, located on the right side of the building.

    Stewed Chicken Curry Bowl

This small restaurant was hidden and at first I was skeptical because it was quiet and no one was there. However, wowza! The chef/owner(?) Sitt, friendly, warm, welcoming, and the way he spoke to us, you can tell he's a genuine individual. First time looking at the menu, he was not pushy, he did not overwhelm us with options, he tagged along with the direction we were going with. We ordered the chicken katsu, stewed curry chicken, gyoza and he recommended curry croquettes. I regret not buying 3 of those croquettes.... the crunch was exquisite! The taste of the curry, mildly spicy, yet umami. Will be coming back soon to try the carbonara udon! Sure, there are a lot of curry places around, but I was very satisfied coming here! Thank you!

Very cute restaurant! I stopped by after a workout and tried their chicken katsu sando. It's a big sandwich and comes with fries. For $15, it's a good amount of food. The fries, in particular, were very crispy and satisfying. The chicken katsu sando had fluffy white bread, lots of crunchy cabbage, and a generous schmear of mayo. It was a bit of a heavy meal, but definitely hit the spot. They have a good variety of noodle and rice dishes too - I'll definitely have to come back and try more! $15 is the minimum to use credit card so if you're just coming for snacks or boba, please bring cash! Everyone was pretty friendly. They only have outdoor seating which is a bummer when it's not super nice out. I also didn't love the vibe of the businesses nearby. I think next time I'll just get it to-go.

Yi's Cafe is a spot on the corner of a street that is a bit unassuming, with just two tables and a bit of seating outside. But don't let that fool you, this is one of the best cafe experiences Arcadia, and even SoCal, have to offer! Even though it was my first time, it felt like I'd known Eric for years. His friendliness, down-to-earth style of handling things, and open communication about wait times were highlights of the amazing customer service here. We waited approx. 20 minutes for our food and drinks, and were offered two free pastries along with it. We got a banana chip muffin and a matcha muffin, both phenomenal quick bites that satisfied our cravings and hunger for a bit while we waited for our food. We ended up spending about $23 for two entrees, two drinks, and two muffins. The bang for your buck here is unbeatable. I've never seen anything like it. The two entrees we picked were Yi's Beef Burrito and the Chicken Pesto Panini. Both were delicious and hearty, feeling more like a nostalgic meal from back home than lunch out. The drinks are quite literally $4. $4 for a coffee nowadays is like winning the lottery on your first try. No better feeling. Both were amazing, with bold coffee flavors and strong notes of tiramisu and cookie butter. No notes at all. Overall, I think this place does exactly what it needs to. It's a small, corner shop-style cafe with an owner that cares about his customers, remembering "usual" orders and having conversations with them while making their drinks. He's patient, hardworking, and deserves all of the success he gets! I hope Yi's Cafe is around to stay, because I will definitely be back! 10/10.

The quality of their teas are also regarded as high-quality as you can taste the genuine tea fragrances in the drink despite the added milk or toppings. They have unique tea flavors and toppings that differentiates them from so many other boba houses in the 626 area. 1. Pistachio Coconut Velvet (5/5) A summer/seasonal drink that is worth raving about. It's super refreshing from the coconut water, yet creamy and luxurious from the velvety pistachio cream. They are generous with the pistachio bits that they coat on top of the pistachio foam. I devoured this drink it less then 2 minutes and almost went back for a 2nd cup. 2. Tea-cube Special (5/5) This is a simple, yet, satisfying cup of traditional milk tea. It's made from a black tea base + milk + tea-cube topping. The tea-cube is made from fresh tea then made into a jelly cubes. Super creative, yet delicious. It pairs well with almost any milk tea based drinks. 3. Mango Pomelo Sago (4/5) If you like mangos and like fruity drinks, then this is a good choice. It comes with sago toppings, which pairs well with the drink. When it's fresh and icy, it's super refreshing. However, if you wait too long and it melts, the drink can get a bit too sweet. 4. Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea (4.5/5) This drink is a Jasmine tea base with osmanthus rice paste, milk and crystal boba. You certainly can taste the osmanthus flavor. My favorite thing to do is get it with their house-special tea-cubes. My go-to boba place whenever I am in the area.

The ordering kiosk displayed all the choices aesthetically and had appropriate descriptions. I liked how you could choose what kind of tea you'd get for some drinks (jasmine or black tea!) The tea cube special sounded unique so I gave it a try. It had a strong tea taste. The tea cubes were squishy and had a firm jelly texture. This drink would definitely fall more towards the chocolatey side. I felt that it was still sweet at 25% sugar, but I'd still get it again! I haven't stopped thinking about the drink since I had it yesterday. Definitely will need to stop by again soon to fix my craving for it.

Paying almost 8 dollars for a specialty tea wasn't a great feeling, but they had an atmosphere and quality that offset it for the most part. Now, they expect you to pay 10 dollars for some of those exact same drinks. The most recent menu price update for august brought some items up to 9.85 pre-tax. That doesn't even include the dollar extra for their specialty tapiochi. You can't even modify the sweetness or dairy on some! Seriously? How in the world can little more than a single year of being open warrant that kind of price increase? You can't even pull the quality card at that point because you can get high quality ceremonial matcha with specialty housemade syrups, toppings, or foam/cream caps at plenty of other places these days and that's typically in the 7 dollar range, which is, again, not a fun number to pay for a drink. For these prices, I ought to see the receipts on some kind of hyper-local sourced fruits and dairy, specialty fair+ free trade small batch organic tea where we know the farmer's name and when it was harvested. (These aren't even unreasonable asks, you can purchase imported matcha and tea in the US with this level of transparency). It feels more like a hype traffic price increase rooted in greed than anything else. That kind of anti-consumer move doesn't win loyalty, it wins you one trip and an instagram photo and an "it was good, but not worth what I paid." Which is how I felt the last time I ordered the matcha einspanner, which was more bitter than I'd expect and not even smoothly whisked to eliminate graininess. Congrats on your profit margins though, I guess. Your workers make minimum wage and the website says the owner is (was?) a medical doctor. That says something, doesn't it.
